mentioned consumer's complaint. The credit score is a mathematical summary of the credit history using sophisticated statistics and mathematical equations to calculate the summary. Numerical values are assigned to various pieces of information in a credit report, resulting in the risk score. The credit score changes over time as a consumer continues to develop their credit history, and may change from day to day as credit history is updated. The interpretations of risk scores differ according to the need and requirements set by the various credit grantors, and may indeed vary on a daily basis. Similarly, different credit grantors can view the same risk score differently, depending on their experiences with other consumers scoring in the same range, their marketing plans, their business niche and many other factors. Experian is not privy to the values assigned to the information appearing on a consumer's credit report. That information would be considered proprietary to the credit grantor. Additionally, not all creditors report credit information to all three of the credit bureaus. For this reason, each bureau's credit report can have different information causing credit scores from bureau to bureau to vary, at times by a substantial amount.Credit scores are generated based solely upon the credit guidelines determined by a potential credit grantor. A credit score may be different from lender to lender depending on the type of credit scoring model used. The interpretations of credit scores differ according to the need and requirements set by the various credit grantors, and may also vary on a daily basis. For these reasons, the score cannot be "disputed". However, if there is information appearing on a credit report that is believed to be inaccurate or incomplete, we are able to investigate that specific information. Inaccurate information on the credit report could possibly be the cause of an inaccurate score. We have mailed a current credit report directly to the consumer for review. If the consumer believes there are additional inaccuracies on their credit report, we must have a specific dispute. Please specify the item or account name and number. Please provide the consumer's additional specific disputes along with their complete identification information (Social Security number, full name, current address, previous addresses in the last two years and date of birth). Also, please include one copy of a government issued identification card, such as a driver's license, state ID card, etc., and one copy of a utility bill, bank or insurance statement, etc.Experian strives to achieve a high level of customer service for all the consumers they assist. Let me assure you that Experian takes its commitment to efficient, expeditious service seriously. Thank you for allowing me to assist you. Please contact me directly if you have any questions.Sincerely,[redacted]

Starting July 1, 2017, the three major credit reporting companies - [redacted], Experian and [redacted] - were to enforce stricter rules on the public records they collect, requiring each citation to include the subject's name, address and either their Social Security number or date of birth. As of 9/29/17 the inaccurate information is still reporting on my [redacted] credit report. I am writing this letter and complaint requesting that this Public Record be removed from my credit file immediately, as it does not comply with the rules enforced to report.

above mentioned consumer's complaint. We store information based on identification and address information provided to us by credit grantors and providers of public records. One or more sources of information reported the identification and/or address information you questioned and it is a part of your credit history. If you believe this information is inaccurate, you may want to contact the source of the information directly. Please contact me directly by telephone at 214-726-4159 if additional assistance is needed to determine the specific sources of particular identification and address information on your credit report.By federal law, your personal credit report must list all organizations that have requested your credit history. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, entities who have certified to Experian that they have a permissible purpose may inquire about credit information. For example, organizations that have granted you credit or with whom you have applied for credit, or entities collecting on transactions that you initiated or on judgments rendered against you, are permitted to make inquiries on your credit report. Requests for your credit history remain on the personal credit report for at least two years.Inquiries from credit grantors who request your credit information as part of your application for credit will display under the heading “Inquiries shared with others" on your personal credit report. These inquiries display on your credit report when it is accessed by others with a permissible purpose. These inquiries may affect your credit score.Other inquiries for your credit information are considered "soft" inquiries and do not affect your credit score. Some examples are: your current creditors to monitor your accounts; other creditors who want to offer you preapproved credit, an employer who wishes to extend an offer of employment, and a potential investor assessing the risk of a current credit obligation. These inquiries appear under the heading “Inquiries shared only with you" on your personal credit report
