(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Facebook ignored 21 e-mails from me and is still censoring my account. Facebook has still not processed proof of my right to use the name I have used on Facebook for eight years and I am still being deprived of use of my account.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/09/14) */
Hi,
Thanks for your reply. We want to help you resolve this issue, but we can't until you reply and attach identification that confirms the name submitted in your request, "World Fusion Radio".
If you don't have a government-issued photo ID that shows this name, you can submit 2 forms of ID that show the same name. Also, one of the IDs must include a photo or date of birth that matches the information on your profile.
If you don't have an ID that shows your name as well as your photo or date of birth, you can provide 2 forms of ID that show the same name, and one ID that includes a photo or date of birth that matches the information on your profile. Please note that if the IDs provided do not meet our ID requirements, we will not be able to update your name to "World Fusion Radio".

Please save the file(s) as a JPEG and cover up any personal information we don't need to confirm your identity (ex: address, driver's license number).
Learn more about the types of ID we accept in the Help Center:

https://www.facebook.com/help/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/?ref=cr

Once you send us the necessary IDs, we'll be happy to change your name. You may reply to the copy of this email sent directly from Facebook.

Facebook is not abiding by their own printed policy.
Facebook help section, page https://www.facebook.com/help/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/ says:
"If you have a large number of public followers, you may have the option to verify your account and display your other name on the top of your profile, with your authentic name in the About section."
I fulfill this criterion and have asked to display my "other name" "WorldFusionRadio" - the name I have used and am known by on Facebook for over eight years and have proved proof of my identity as that name.

Hi [redacted],
I'm sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Fortunately, I can share with you that the reason you were blocked was for going a little too fast with posting, not because you were reported by somebody.
We have limits in place to...

prevent behavior that other people on Facebook may find disruptive or abusive. These limits are usually triggered when someone is moving too fast, for example, posting too frequently in groups.
Most blocks are temporary, and yours has actually been lifted, but once you are allowed to use this feature again, you may need to slow down so you don't get blocked again. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 8, 2016/01/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Dear [redacted],
Thank you for responding to my concerns. It is disappointing that facebook's response arrived after the block was lifted and not at the beginning. That being said, the explanation as to why I was blocked, is extremely confusing. Rules are rules, including rules set by facebook. No where on facebook in my avid investigation of your rules and regulations can I find anything describing what a "little too fast" implies. What exactly does a "little too fast" mean? I don't even understand what "fast" would mean in this context.
It seems that it is the job of the administrator of each group to determine which member is being abusive or disruptive. You wrote that there was no[redacted]plaint about me, so what abusive or disruptive behavior would you be referring to? I would really appreciate knowing. It's like asking someone not to eat too much without telling them exactly what "too much" means. Does it mean an ounce, a pound, a cup, a quart? Can you imagine trying to bake a cake when the recipe calls for "not too much" butter rather than asking for a tablespoon of butter?
I belong to over 1000 groups and in some of those groups people post hundreds of times a week. I don't post anywhere near that amount. Does facebook actually count how many times someone posts in a group? What mathematical formula do you use to determine if it's more posts than another member who is not being blocked?
In order to prevent from being blocked for "going too fast" in the future, and in order to know exactly how to "slow down", I am asking for a specific number of posts allowed per group and exactly how many per day in a group, so as to[redacted]ply with your rules. Can you also please give me a url where I can read the "going to fast" rule so I can refer to it in the future?
I feel that saying someone is "going too fast" or posting too much is arbitrary and unless you can give specifics, it puts your loyal members in a position where they don't know how to[redacted]ply so as to prevent being blocked again. I do not want to be blocked. I want to follow your rules but rules must be clear and specific in order to be[redacted]plied with. I need your help in understanding exactly how to move forward. I don't think this is asking too much. Do you think you and facebook can do this for me? I think it's only fair for facebook to provide specifics so we can[redacted]ply with your guidelines.
I look forward to a detailed response because that will help me to avoid being blocked again.
Thank you and happy new year.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2016/01/20) */
Hi [redacted],
Since several different factors are considered when a block is put in place, we can't offer one specific guideline for how to avoid them in the future. Our general r[redacted]mendation is to slow down and wait a bit longer between posts.

Hi [redacted],
Unfortunately, we cannot release the information you requested unless you do one of the following:
1. Issue a valid subpoena or court order. You will need to contact your local law enforcement agency or attorney.
2. Submit a notarized affidavit stating that you are victim of identity theft and a copy of a police report. You may visit the Federal Trade Commission website for a sample affidavit (http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/resources/forms/affidavit.pdf). We ask that you notarize the affidavit in lieu of submitting a copy of your government issued photo I.D. If you choose to have your local law enforcement agency or attorney submit these documents on your behalf, please include in the affidavit your consent to Facebook, Inc. in releasing the requested information to your local law enforcement agency or attorney.
Additionally, please be aware that there are situations where we may be unable to retrieve the information that you have requested due to technical limitations. You should contact your local law enforcement agency or attorney and discuss this issue with them. If you decide to pursue legal action, have the attorney or officer contact us at [email protected], and we'll communicate with them regarding the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Facebook will respond to requests if the company believes in good faith that compliance is required by local law and relates to users from the jurisdiction (see http://www.facebook.com/policy.php).
