Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:Sincerely,
Complaint Details
Over the past several months, I have slowly come to realize that I am the victim of a hacker or hackers, who have not only invaded my private e-mail accounts, but have also, somehow, created numerous fictitious Facebook accounts using my name, or a variation of my name and likeness. Last week, my husband and I decided to close our "REAL" Facebook accounts, with me wanting to open a new account so that I could continue to play my games, so I did just that, or so I thought. I created a new account, using my cell phone number and not an e-mail address, and then added a photo and filled in some profile information, making sure to secure the account by making things visible to "Only Me", or when that option was not available, the "Friends Only" option. I then went on to send Facebook a message asking them to not lock this account, that I was only using it for game purposes, and then I began to play games. At one point, I logged out and when I tried to log back in, I received the following on screen message... "Upload A Photo Of Yourself Please upload a photo of yourself which clearly shows your face. When you send us a photo, we'll check it and then permanently delete it from our servers." I tried doing this, but this link does not work at all, and only caused me more frustration in the process, and something truly needs to be done to allow me access to this new account.
Desired Outcome/Settlement
Desired Settlement: Other (requires explanation)My desired resolution would be to have Facebook unlock my new and most recent account without me having to send them a picture of my ID, as this feature never works, as explained above. I would also like someone from Facebook to contact me, via e-mail, to confirm that this has been done.[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/01/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept this response because, as I have informed Facebook in my original complaint, I do not and never have had a Facebook account. The "Payment Support Specialist" advises me to go to www.facebook.com/help/contact, but when I do, it requires a facebook account to proceed. I do not want a Facebook account. Only 3 of the 4 fraudulent charges have been reversed. The largest fraudulent charge still has not been reversed and I still cannot contact Facebook by phone or email to get them to resolve this. Revdex.com, please help.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2016/01/20) */
Hi [redacted],
Since you do not have a Facebook account, can you please send in a copy of your credit card statement that displays these charges via the Revdex.com portal?
Once we receive this information, we can investigate the charges to make sure they're all handled.
Thanks,

Hi [redacted],
Thanks for replying to Facebook through the Revdex.com. It looks like the document you sent either doesn't match the account's info or isn't on our list of acceptable proof of business documents. We can't give you access to the account or take any further action until we receive acceptable documentation.
Documents we accept include:
- Utility bill
- Local business license (issued by your city, county, state, etc.)
- Tax filing
- Certificate of Formation (for a partnership)
- Articles of Incorporation (for a corporation)
Documents we don't accept include:
- Images of logos
- Business cards
- Newspaper clippings
- Any document that is publicly available
Keep in mind that if your Page doesn't represent an official business, you can send a copy of:

- Your student ID
- A club/association membership ID
- A trade association ID
- Any other official ID that shows association with the organization
The account is now locked, which means no one will be able to log into it without verifying ownership of the account. While the account is locked, it won't be visible on Facebook or appear in search. We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes.

Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/10/21) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Again this shows the same level of incompetency or language barrier, whoever is responding from facebook keep on saying the same thing........over and over again, facebook says that acceptable documents are tax filings and articles of incorporation, I have sent those 3 times and Im including an attachment again here, this has gone on for more than 8 months, facebook has very poor customer service and the responses they keep sending doesnt make any sense, at this time in addtion to a request of my account being restored, I also am now seeking damages from lack of usage for $50,000.00

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I've managed to get contact with Facebook help, who have removed the request for funds.however, they did not answer my query as to how this happened and what will be done to stop this happening again (this is the 2nd time this has happened)
Sincerely,
[redacted]
