Problem:Empowr/fanbox owes me money for the monthly AMCOs and for the items I sold threw their platform and never got paid form47.71$ from the *** * account and another 52.59$ from my community account Legit SellersEmpowr also owes me another 367$ for MY items I sold threw the empowr platform but never got paid forThe process for selling items threw empowr is as follows: Buyer wins the auction by having the top bid on the itemThen the seller gets a notification alerting them someone has bought and paid for the item and its time for me(seller) to send/deliver the itemI deliver the item and once the buyer gets the item, they have to mark the "item received" on empowrOnce buyer marks "item received" thats releases the "earnings" from pending to useable and also counts towards the monthly AMCO and stock optionsWhen empowr CHOSES not to pay out an AMCO, I dont get paid ANYTHINGIts one thing to not get an AMCO as they are NOT guarenteedBut its another thing to sell MY items and NEVER receive any REAL MONEY in returnIm giving away MY items?? [     I have read what was said and I do not agree with anything the people at Fanbox/Empowr said.  It is totally unacceptable.  I have worked for the money I have earned.  I have three communities in addition to all of the hard work I have put into auctions.  As far as it goes with ads, you start out in the hole. They "extend" $1000 in ad credits to you.  These are not necessarily ads that you run.  This is an accumulation of ads that are put out by the community.  They are not based on an individual's  usage.  Then the amount just keeps going up and up.  The platform fees of course go up too.  If you opt to pay your fees when you cash o ut, you can't.  Your account is no longer optimized.  Then, since your account is not optimized you cannot cash out until it is optimized again, which in turn means that you have to pay these fees out of pocket.  You have to wait 90 days before any of your money "matures" which makes no sense because it is not like it is building interest in all that time.  As far as the charges go, they were not authorized.  I had to file a dispute with my bank to get some of the money back.  Since I couldn't get anywhere with empowr I was left with no choice.  Even if they did refund the money all they would do is add it back into the money I earned on their site which I cannot touch anyway.  So it is not like I am really getting a refund.  They tell you when you start to enter your PayPal or credit card info to "protect" your account.  Nothing is ever mentioned that you would have money taken out of your account when they felt like taking it.  Then, it is no easy task to get your info removed.  It is not like it is on their site that you can easily edit your payment info.  You have to email customer service and then in turn you have to wait until they eventually get to your email.  In the meantime you are stuck and you are still getting charged for things.  You're at their mercy.  Even if you get the payment information removed, somehow it manages to reappear and you start seeing surprise charges on your bank card.  I have spoken to people that have been a part of empowr and a lot of them have left because they came to the realization that it is a scam.  There are numerous websites and forums dedicated to discussions about how empowr/fanbox is a scam.  Here are just two examples of the tons of sites that are out there exposing this company for what they really are: [redacted]    an this one is a forum discussing the problems:  [redacted]      Constantly you see people on empowr asking if this is legit and if anyone has seen any money at all from them.  There are A LOT of people who post this, it is not a small handful of posts. The sad part of all of this is I am not alone in this mess.  There re ton of people who have been shafted and did nothing about it.  I am not one of those people.  I am not going away.  I want my money, plus interest, and plus all  of the stress, aggravation, and depression I have endured because of all of this.  They promise you that you will make money.  No you won't.  I did everything and anything to make money on the site and I deserve this compensation.  I will not settle for less than $14k now.  As the days tick on the amount will increase.  If I do not get any satisfaction I will be forced to take legal action.  This is not just for me anymore, this is for all the people who have been scammed.  This company should not be in business anymore.  I hate to say it but after what I have seen they  have done to people it is disgusting they are allowed to continue to operate.  It also makes you wonder why they have been through so many name changes through the years.  Companies have changed names from time to time but this seems a little excessive.  I think they are on their 3rd or 4th name as of late.  I really hope this can be resolved amicably.  I will not back down and I will not accept excuses.  They have always excuses for things and try to weasel their way out of stuff.  I will not accept any responses that are involving things about their "rules" and "regulations" or any more excuses.  I am sick of the lies as well.  Everyone who has been shafted needs to get paid as well.  This needs to stop.  I am just one person but I am seeking justice for more than just myself.  People came to this site to make money, not to keep dishing out money that they cannot afford to pay.  I do not like threatening legal action and do not like to  have to say such things because it always sounds like a cop out that people use to get their way.  I am not using it in that manner.  I am quite serious and I will pursue this further if need be.  Thank you for your time and I hope there will  be a resolution for all because of the steps I have taken.  ]Sincerely,[redacted]

Hi [redacted],Looking at your account and activity history, we see you were active in spending the ad credits you accepted and you only created a few posts. Meaning, you were participating in earning activities while spending your ad credits simultaneously. Spending ad credits without paying for them...

upfront entails a monthly processing fee.In order to generate profits and cash out those profits, the member must be actively managing their expenditures (ad credits) to meet their desired goal while participating in the community and all earning activities available. While you generated a decent amount in earnings, you also continuously spent your ad credits, which in the end, must be paid back before cashing out. Also, earnings go through a maturity cycle of 90 days before being eligible for cash out. This is mentioned in our terms of service and within the account FAQs.  Your account will always use your most matured earnings first for fees, payments, and purchases withing empowr. Your funds begin maturing the month after they are earned. Once they are fully 90-days matured, you must have more 90-day fully matured earnings than ad credits utilized and ad platform fees and your earnings have been on 90-days. Once your funds meet all of these qualifications, they are eligible to cash out!In the case of your account, your account has $40.22 in unpaid Ad Platform Fees, $1,300.89 in Ad Credits Utilized, $0 90-day fully matured earnings, and $1,465.03 in earnings not fully matured. Please inform us if we can assist you  further with your account earnings or with any questions you may have.Thank you,The empowr Outreach Team

Empowr/fanbox sent me some generic emails saying thank you for updating my payment information. Thats it. I STILL have NOT received my money. 2 cash out checks from 12/16 and a refund I requested on 01/17. In retalation, empowr has blocked me somehow threw their platform. Im no longer able to continue "building trust" with other users. My "loop" is stuck closed thus not allowing "fans" to close my "loop" back. This process of back and forth between users is the entire basis of empowr social platform.

accepted. Meaning, you were primarily participating in earning activities while spending your ad credits simultaneously. Spending ad credits without paying for them upfront entails a monthly processing fee. Ad Credits earn you the bare minimum of what you could have earned had you worked on building your network (fan base), proactively engaged with the community, participated in the other earning activities, and managing your expenditures. This is mentioned in our terms of service and within the account FAQs.  Our records indicate that, due in large part to the above services, you have thus far enjoyed earnings of $13,861.28 – on your original account much of which was enabled by the extension of Ad Credits provided to you by empowr. In exchange for the use of those services, there are fees that empowr citizens can choose to pay upfront; or, they can opt to pay the fees when they cash out. If at any point they no longer wish to take advantage of those services, they can stop using them. They can even delete their account at any time and owe nothing to the platform. All of this is detailed in the FAQs on the empowr homepage.
