Hello, I recently ordered flooring from floor and decor 1,sq feet to be exact around $worth of product that had to be special ordered from the Florida location to the Aurora, Il location My contractors that are putting the flooring ran into trouble the very first box they opened The product is not as described, It is supposed to click in and make a click noise when is locks in The product does not click in and is impossible to install My contractors brought a box to the Aurora, IL location because the manager *** wanted to see what they were talking about *** himself couldn't even get the product to lock in and hes been doing flooring for over years my contractors figured out with ***'s help that they have to rub pieces of the flooring together to make it fit togetherThis process is going to take the installation times as long now! For the past year I recommended this place to my clients for a more budget alternativeIn concept this place is great: huge selection, great prices and the store layouts are right onBut due to the employees, customer service, point of sale equipment and management the execution is horrible
I usually have my clients order everything online and pick it up for them, which means when I show up its on a pallet, shrink wrapped and ready to get fork lifter into my truckThat sounds great and all, and really should be quite easy to pull offBut out of my last trips have had either completely different tile mixed in, noticeably broken tile (scrap pieces just thrown in) , different color grout and missing items altogether
The issue that finally tipped it over for me just happenedI picked up an order for my client on Wednesday , drove over an hr away and unloaded itRight in the middle of the shrink wrapped stacks of tile was out of tile for the shower floorUpon realizing it we called numerous time and as always its nigh impossible to talk to anyone and when you do they tell you they are either busy or will call you back later(few ever do)
Finally upon reaching someone they told us they would send it out *** ** (over night) and it should be received Thursday with Friday being the latestSaturday morning my client finally reaches someone on the found and they find the tile that was supposed to be shipped sitting on a shelf
Obviously at this point he drove up there(hour+ away) to confront the manager and was told by various people that he was busyAt the end of the day I look like a bad guy to for suggesting this placeFrom here on out I will be telling everyone how horrible this place is

We purchased a bamboo floor for our Florida Home from Floor & Decor on 3/17/ The floor was installed by our contractor (registered in the State of Florida) and it became obvious that there was something wrong with the floor The interlocking boards started to buckle and form gaps in the flooring We went back to Floor & Decor in June/and were given a copy of their Instructions for Customers with Warranty claims The manager assured us that if we hired an independent Certified Flooring Inspector we would be made whole That is we would have our bad flooring removed including the baseboards and have a new flooring reinstalled and there would be no charge to us We hired *** Floorcovering Inspector NWFA #CP *** as per Floor & Decors instructions He found the flooring to be defective and provided a report stating this to us which was then forwarded to Floor N Decor They refused to accept this report and sent their own inspectors to look at the floor The

Although I have issues with both a total lack of customer service skills from a manager, the main complaint is their failure to process two credits that are due me since Monday June 13th, Neither has been processed to my bank as of today, and in essence this company is stealing my money since it was on a debit card and that money is not available to me till they process it I want that done immediately I have tried to call time this morning and NO ONE is answering the phones I am incensed as to how horribly I have been treated by this company and the fact that they are holding my credits I have the documentation and even ran my card when each credit was "issued"

I was super excited to begin my new home floor project so I went Floor & Décor
I ran my excellent credit, pick my dream tile, placed the order and set up the delivery date for the following MondayOn Sunday I received a call confirming my order that it would be delivered on the date agreed from am to 1:pm, so I scheduled my contractorpm no tiles delivery, I called and talked with Andres which promised to called me back and never did, so I called him times and continued to get the run around, the fourth call, I talked to a Magarita and she said my order had been canceled and that she can give me the delivery for freeReally what a mission few dollars on a delivery would never compensate compared to the money I had to pay my contractors for doing nothing, because they failed to communicate that they took an order for tiles they were out of and no longer exist that doesn't "which by the way is considered advertising" then I decided to go to the store and personally talk with the store manager PHIL, at first was very helpful, he apologized and told pick any tile I wanted to compensate, so I pick the one that was closest to the original tile, but then when he saw the difference in price he said he had to get it authorized from another store manager, another day wasted and still paying my contractors which I had to pay a lot of $$$$, for doing nothing and that's not counting the day I took off for the delivery, tolls, gas, two trips to the store and frustration the next Phil called me back and told me that I had to pay more for the tiles I had pick out to compensate, they are unprofessional
