We have received and reviewed the above complaint by Ms [redacted] and are happy to address her concernsFMR is a collection agency and we were attempting to contact Ms [redacted] regarding an unpaid personal loan that we received in our portfolio The loan originated with [redacted] Processing and the last four account number digits are *** FMR’s representative denies ever threatening Ms [redacted] in any way, specifically overt threats of “further action.” Ms [redacted] asked for the verification of debt and additional time to check with her bank regarding the loan Our representative followed back up with Ms [redacted] and was informed that she doesn’t recognize the loan No further contact took place after that time and the file was closed We have followed back up with our Client who sent us the portfolio to inform them of Ms [redacted] ’ update about her account We have treated this complaint as a cease and desist and apologize for any issues Ms [redacted] experienced For what it’s worth, we are also upset that we were provided a portfolio that has a possible issue and we have addressed this with our Client We are not sure how else we can assist Ms [redacted] , but we assure that FMR will not contact her regarding this account again Please contact the undersigned if we can be of any additional help in this matter Sincerely, Nick W Authorized Representative of Forward Movement Recovery
