I am rejecting this response because:My complaint was not a request to receive any financial compensation.  My complaint was a request to correct a false advertising claim made by the company and it remains uncorrected.  As I was told by Robyin F[redacted] (of From You Flowers) when we spoke by phone, 90% of orders are able to be delivered same day, leaving 10% of customers without the "same day delivery" they were guaranteed.  I appreciate that the company verbally explained (when following up on my complaint), that they may face circumstances which would not allow same day delivery - however, no where on the website, not even in the fine print, is the consumer warned that this is a possibility.  Robyin further explained that I was far from the first customer to be upset that their order did not meet the large print guarantee of "same day delivery" that is found all over the company's website, indicating this is an ongoing issue for customers.  I remain concerned that a business is making a claim that their own employees indicate they cannot always meet and it is never acknowledged by the company that this is a risk.  Somewhere on the website, even somewhere so simple as the terms and conditions, should provide an accurate definition of their guarantee.

I am rejecting this response because: I am not interested in talking to the business again, or receiving a free future order. My only concern here is that people aren't taken advantage of in a time such as a funeral, get well, or birthday.  Both times I've ordered from this company they have missed the date either completely, not told me, or called me at the end of the day to let me know the order won't make it in time.

Terrible company - the first time they screwed up I ordered the "florist designed" selection, thinking the recipient would get something unique and lovely. Wrong, it was cheap carnations (and few of those) and green filler. Terrible. They apologized and gave me a credit, so I thought I'd try them again. Ordered flowers for both my mother and MIL for Mother's Day (6 days beforehand), and NEITHER received their arrangement. I have a complaint into customer service, but I don't see how they can ever justify such terrible service or make it right. My moms did not receive flowers for Mother's Day because of them, and I'm not the only one (check out their terrible [redacted] reviews). How can they still be in business? They deserve an F rating.

I am rejecting this response because:While I did receive a full refund, for which I am satisfied, I never received a complimentary floral arrangement valued at $40.  I did receive a $15 gift certificate which is not the same as a complimentary floral arrangement.They need to retract the untruth about a complimentary floral arrangement (which I never asked for, nor do I want) before I will be satisfied with the response.

I wanted to get my wife something special. I am away right now working in another state. I decided to send her flowers and a balloon, and I wanted this delivered same day, which is what the site claims to do. So I browsed until I found some flowers that were marked for same day delivery. My order time was some where before 12pm/noon EST Saturday. So, I was expecting the flowers to arrive before 4pm EST.
This did not happen, so I checked and there was no delivery confirmation yet. I waited until around 6pm EST and called their 800 number. I was told that no florist could make the delivery to the location. However, I was then told that the flowers would arrive on Monday. I asked for a refund on my extra fees for same day delivery and that 'From You Flowers' throw something extra in, which I chose a box of chocolates and a bouquet upgrade. They agreed on both and I hung up the phone, not satified, but still willing to do business with the company. On Sunday night, right in the middle of my dinner, I get a phone call from this company informing me that it would be IMPOSSIBLE to get any florist to fulfill my order. There is a city close by, [redacted], with over 50K people, so there should be a florist that delivers to [redacted], just outside of [redacted]
The person on the phone gave me an option to either get a refund or 'duplicate' my order and have it arrive from [redacted] on Tuesday (days later from my original order, and a ruined surprise). Reluctantly, I agreed and the person informed me that we could handle everything over the phone. I went to their website, while still on the phone, and was directed to enter the search term 'grower' to pull up the potential selection of flowers I could get delivered. At this point, I've already been lead on because the flower selection was completely different (could NOT ORDER the SAME flowers), AND the vase was now going to cost me extra!!! My order was NOT being 'duplicated', the flowers were different, the vase now costs extra, and paying for the balloon was going to be extra. By the end of the conversation, I learned that no matter what, my order could not be 'duplicated', and that I would have to make an entirely new transaction to make this work. Also, it was going to take a few days to get my refund. For me, this was really the end of the line.
The only upgrade to my order, which was now going to end up totalling more than the original purchase if I added the balloon, was to my flowers (that cost more than the original), but nothing else was offered - no chocolates or anything else. If you are someone with lots of money re-ordering might not be a big deal, but for me, this is not the case. At this point, my SURPRISE was ruined, I was lead around to believe one thing on Saturday, and then on Sunday something totally different. My original order became impossible to fulfill, and I was informed the ONLY WAY to get her flowers through this company was [redacted].
My order could NOT be DUPLICATED (a lie), I would have to make a whole new purchase (which for me ment having to wait for the refund, then making a whole new order days later), AND the flowers I wanted were NOT available! I was getting less than what I was told on Saturday, and the cost was going up. I then informed the person that I was going to the Revdex.com to make my complaint.
That is when the person said, Oh, I think we can get something done for you if I give the person a few moments to talk to another person, presumably someone with more power. This blew me away. I told the person that it was crazy that I had to make a threat (complain on Revdex.com) in order to get good customer service! I demanded a refund, as the person attempted to get me to hold for 'better customer service'. It took a few times before the person gave up and I made sure that I was told I would get my refund.
I did get my refunds; the first for the extra fees for same day and to make sure it was delivered within 4 hours, the remainder of my refund appeared the next day (Monday evening) in my Paypal. If this company was able to set up the right expectations, none of this would have happened. Maybe upgrade your website to let customers know that some areas ARE NOT CAPABLE OF SAME DAY DELIVERY or even delivery from a florist! Even further, on Saturday, after spending 40 minutes of my air time (limited minutes), I should have been informed the delivery was IMPOSSIBLE!, not a day later.
This company SUCKS. Don't waste a moment with them, search locally for a florist in the area you want to send flowers and work with that florist.

rejecting this response because:I am a nurse, if I treated and lied to my patients I would loss my license.  I understand I refunded my money back because I asked for it, it was not offered to me.  What was offered was 20% off my next purchase.  The 3rd manager I spoke to told me I would get a comp on my next purchase and no email was sent to me regarding it, Nor did I care as I don't plan on using the services again.  Only when I made this complaint with Revdex.com did someone contact me for the first time to communicate with me and said to me "no one comp'd the account  Im sorry about that I'll do it and send out an email".  Again no email and no comp.  Not surprised, terrible consumer service, 4 managers poor service.

I am rejecting this response because:as stated as long as this company is intentionally inflating the reviews posted on their website (my negative review has still not appeared there). I will not consider this complaint resolved. Based on sites without artificially inflated reviews this company has a history of not delivering products on time which was my experience. Customers have a right to know that and plan whether or not they are ok with that. The customer service I received when calling the company was also horrible. I had to spend an extended period of time on the phone trying to figure out where my order was and no one was able to help me nor were they willing to refund my money until I contacted the Revdex.com. Customers have a right to know this is the sort of service they can expect when doing business with this company. The 4 and 5 star reviews they actually allow on the website (if they are even real) certainly do not give potential customers an accurate prediction of the type of service they will receive.I also still have not received the gift card they claim was sent to me. Though that does not really matter as I have no intention of doing business with this company again.
