Frontier has investigated the above statements and offers the following response: Internet speeds are based on multiple variables including limitations of the computer, time of day, distance from the central office, etc As stated in Frontier’s terms and conditions, actual Internet speeds may vary, and any speed advertised is not a guarantee Frontier’s promotional materials also clearly state that “Actual speeds may vary and are not guaranteed Service subject to availability.” As a result, Ms [redacted] is subscribing to the service tier for speed as fast as Mbps and receives speeds as fast as - Mbps Ms [redacted] is subscribed to Internet service at the lowest rate available – $per month.Frontier is not a monopoly provider in any of its service areas All areas where Frontier provides service are open to competition from any provider that chooses to provide service, including wireless operators and satellite operators Frontier is committed to delivering the highest quality Internet in its often rural and high-cost service area Frontier notes that the FCC does not mandate minimum broadband speedsThe FCC’s decision to define “advanced telecommunications capability” under U.S.C§ has created significant confusion in this regardWe regret the confusion this created However, this definition does not mandate the speeds that Internet service providers deliver to customers Frontier advises that it is continually working to improve its network and its customers’ experience; The Central Office recently underwent changes to improve connection We regret any inconvenience that Mr [redacted] may have experienced as a result of the above matter

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I also spoke with a representative who only wanted to tell me why I was wrong instead of trying to solve anythingI also told the representative that he did not resolve my complaint.In terms of the internet speed If it can vary between 15mbps and mbps, that is how it should be advertised It should NOT be falsely advertised as 100mbps That is misleading to the consumer I already had 15mbps with [redacted] and did not need to switch to Frontier to get the exact same thing In terms of the [redacted] integration - that was also advertising since the flyer that was sent out showed "YES" to the [redacted] integration and a representative told me on the phone that it was included with the basic package that I was signing up for "as long as you have a paid [redacted] subscription" which I do have The representative NEVER informed me that it was dollars extra per month I was not told about this extra cost until after I already canceled with [redacted] and installed the Frontier equipment in my home.Regards, [redacted] ***
