We got a Living Social deal for Garage Door Medics for point maintenance We were somewhat a little skeptical about the service due to the deal But when [redacted] */technician came out and did the work we were very satisified with his workmanship, knowledge and honesty We highly recommend this technician with this Garage Door Medics Obviously, Customer service and feedback mean a lot to them I certainly use them again

[redacted] *from Garage Door Medics is extremely knowledgeable and provided us with good and efficient service He alleviated a major problem that would have occurred, had he not noticed it We would definitely recommend him to anyone with a garage door problem

Pedro came out at exactly the time expected He didn't try to give us the big sell, he just did what we agreed was needed then he pointed out something we hadn't noticed, which was our cables were frayed We decided to change those too and the price was very reasonable While he was at it he gave everything else the once over and told us it looked great and how to grease the parts properly which he did for us! The garage looks great and sounds much better and we felt he took great care of us as home owners

The scheduler who took the initial call was friendly and explained the service call charge He provided available service times Gene was assigned to my call and arrived within the first hour of the service window time He examined the door, the opener and mechanical parts and provided an estimate He even took the time to show me how to operate the door manually during an outage or issue During installation, he found some worn parts and showed me the wear he was courteous and performed the work within 30-minutes I think perhaps I could have found the same replacements less expensively elsewhere but rates seems competitive

On a Friday evening I backed my SUV out of the garage with the back hatch still raised up, hitting and badly damaging the garage door and its hinges I called Garage Door Medics on Saturday morning and was told a technician could come that afternoon When the tech, [redacted] *., arrived that afternoon he fully explained the the pros and cons of repairing the hinges versus installing a new door I chose to have the hinges replaced, and while he was at it, have new springs installed as well (which totaled about half the cost of a new door) [redacted] worked quickly, was courteous, very competent and professional I would definitely call Garage Door Medics again, if needed, and recommend them to my friends

Great service-Preston Uecker was very knowledgeable and able to quickly diagnose the problem, give me several repair options w/prices, and complete the repair in a very short amount of time

I called Garage Door Medics on a Sunday morning and they were able to be at my house that afternoon My garage door opener motor was completely shot and needed to be replaced [redacted] had everything that was needed to install a new unit including the motor replacement springs and new rollersThere was no preasure to buy anything, he only recommended what could be done and how long other repairs might last if I did not purchase new equipement [redacted] was very polite and friendly and got the job done in about hoursHe even programmed additional remotes and programmed my car to work with the new garage door Very happy with their service

He was very professional and knowledgeable [redacted] went above and beyond to service my garage door to make sure it was working as if it was brand newI had a broken spring so [redacted] installed a new one but when he tested the door, he didn't like how it felt to him so he removed the new springs and went with bigger springs to account for my heavier garage doorHe could have left in the first set of springs and called it a day but instead took his time to make sure I got the best service and working garage doorHe gave me other recommendations for my garage door but never forced me to get any additional servicesOverall great experience with [redacted] and Garage Door Medics!

Woke up this morning and couldn't get my car out of my garage...called Garage Door Medics and Jeff T showed up about minutes later...I have a year old garage door that had never been serviced Jeff explained everything to me and gave me a quote, started work immediately and was finished in about an hour or less...did a great job and I'm very pleased

I had a spring break on my garage door Garage Door Medics answered the call on a weekend and made it out the same day Don M did a great job -- fast, friendly, professional...just awesome! The garage door wouldn't open and I had a large car parked inside, so even with the tight and awkward working conditions, Don knocked it out and got the door working again Definitely would recommend and use this company again!!

Excellent all the way around from phone call to set up apptto punctual arrival by ***He did all the 'Checks' and sprayed my hinges AND WIPED OFF ANY DRIPS!! On May 26, 2016, I called Garage Door Medics for scheduling to come to take a look at our garage door opener and give us an estimate on the morning of May The gentleman name John came on the 27th told us we need to replace a new garage door opener He gave me various options and I didn't like the cost of the option that I wanted (since I have done researches) I told him I did not want the service He charged me $for not doing the serviceI said when I called the office for scheduling the appointment, they did not mention anything about the service charge He charged me $anyway However, I received an email from Medics on May after scheduling the appointment as follow: "Dear MrNguyen, Thank you for choosing Garage Door Medics, we value your business Your appointment is confirmed for: May 27, (8:00am-10:00am) Your technician will call you minutes prior to his arrival so as not to disrupt your dayIf you cannot make your scheduled appointment, please let the technician know at this time or call in advance and let us know as a $service call charge will be billed to you for a no call/no show appointment If you have any questions or need to change your appointment please feel free to contact me at 619-234-8093." The above email is unclear and mislead, and therefore, I believe it is unfair for the customer(s)It is a very bad business practice Thank You

A garage door has three primary components - the Opener, the Springs, and the door itself.On December 20, 2014, we were asked to come out to repair Mrs [redacted] 's garage door openerUponmeeting the customer at the home, we discovered she was unable to open her garage doorThe onlyaccess to the garage was by cutting a small, hand sized hole into the garage door itself in order to openthe door (called an emergency vault release)Upon opening the door, it was discovered the water pipein the ceiling of the garage had burst and had flooded the garage.Mrs [redacted] signed our work order at that time instructing us to install a vault release and to replace thegarage door opener with a Liftmaster Model - on half horsepower screw drive openerApackage price of $was agreed upon and she provided us with her credit cardSee work order# [redacted] attachedShe agreed she would call us back once the damages from the water leakwere repaired.On 01/21/ [redacted] went back out and installed the new Liftmaster Model opener and relatedparts and installed a vault releaseMs [redacted] acknowledged the repairs were completed and her dooropener was operating poperly upon signing our work order #***.On 01/29/we went back out Ms [redacted] 's home as she was noticing her door was making anodd noise when it openedOur technician found the garage door opener and rail, as well as the vaultrelease which we installed on 01/21/were working fine [redacted] reported to Ms [redacted] that herdoor springs were worn and needed to be replacedHe reprogrammed two garage door remotes forher while he was there for no chargehe talked with Ms [redacted] about her springs but she stated shedid not want to spend any additional moneyShe again signed our work order indicating work wascomplete and that she only wanted partial service at this time (the programming of the remotes) on ourwork order #***On 02/04/2015, we went back out to Ms [redacted] 's home again as she was stating her door was stillmaking a clunking noise when it openedOur Service Manager was sent out to see Ms [redacted] 's houseto see if [redacted] missed anything in his diagnosis of the doorAt the end of the day, the underlying issue isthat the garage door hardware (or springs) are failingThey are old and need to be replacedMs[redacted] does not want to pay to replace themShe refused to sign our work order which noted thehardware is failing and needs to be replaces (work order #***) On 02/10/2-15, We left a message for this customer that we at this point will be happy to remove theopener and all related parts we installed as well as removing the vault release we installed for labor costof $Once that is complete and all materials (which we are now unable to sell as they are used), wewould refund her $

Garage Door Medics had to come to our house times to adjust our wonky garage door & other than the initial payment, we weren't charged for the other visitsThey managed to adjust a garage door to look very good on a crooked garagePreston is friendly, efficient & neat in his work
