Dear Revdex.com,Thank you again for allowing us to reply to this concernAs we stated in a previous response, our specials only apply to residential customersIt is clearly stated on our websiteWe do not guarantee a camera to everyone, the unit it self cost roughly $15,new, and its a risk we were not ***ing to takeMr [redacted] had not informed the cusotmer that he must pay $What he suggested was , that in fact if a priblem was found would the customer be intrested in going forward with the workThe customer said " only if your the cheapest price" At that time we did not feel the need to take the risk of damaging a cmaera in a commerical sewer lineThe cusotmer paid for the snaking only, thats what we provided

Dear Revdex.com, Thank you for allowing us to answer the further concern of the customerAfter reviewing the concern again, we conclude that the plumber suggested the proper fix to the customerThe customer choose not to go with our service, because he felt the work could have been done another wayIn our professional opinion our plumber diagnosed the customers concerns directlyThe customer felt that the work could have been done a different way, and we offered to do it the way that our policy statesWe do feel that the problem was properly diagnosed, and service was addressed accordinglyAs the customer states if we would have offered to do the work or this would not be a complaint, however in his opinion it was over priced

Even the next day, they was supposed to come between 8am and 12pm and didn't even call until almost 10am and told me they would be here between 4pm and 9pm, so I wasn't even first the next day after waiting for them for hours the previous dayI was told a gold member was put ahead of me so I had to wait even longerBut finally after yelling and complaining they did finally come around 11:am, which was more then hours so they are lying when they said they was within hoursAnd I figured they would give me nothing for wasting my whole dayBut I still wanted to put this on here so people know how arrogant and incompetent they really areFrom not being able to fix my sink years ago to almost burning down my house with bad wiring on the AC back in July of Worst heating and cooling company in western PA.Regards,

Financing was simply presented as months “same as cash” I can provide a copy of the application showing that the APR% was intentionally leftblank and never discussed However, this is the least of my complaints As far as I’m concerned the $compensation is for the mess left behind since a HEPA filter and plastic wasn’t used as written on the agreement I also had to replace my missing DeWALT folding pocket knife and Olympia E-Z Read tape measure There is no need to verify whether the pipe gurgled or not prior to work performed since gurgling does not occur unless the newly installed pump is operationThe pump and associated plumbing now creates a trap vacuum that causes the aggravating sound I indeed declined a “discounted” simple vent fix since it would have cost me an estimated $300-$on top of the $7,already spent on unsatisfied work I’m simply asking that this be remedied by honoring their published “100% satisfaction guarantee on all workmanship and productsWe will come back at no additional cost until you are satisfied with our services.”

In regards to the complaint, we want to thank you for allowing us to respond I wanted to first point out that the customer was never charged for a camera serviceBeing that he is a commercial property (barbershop) he was charged a total of $service fee (standard for all commercial plumbing calls) and $snakingWe do reserve the right to camera a customers line, if we feel that it is not in the companies best interestThe equipment is very expensive, and the technician is responsible for his toolsThe technician did stick the camera in the sewer line, and it was found that he was unable to get the camera thru the customers house trap At that point in time, the camera could not show a visible defect, as it was under water and the water was mainly sewageIt was explained to the customer that we could start with the house trapThe customer was given options verbally and ball parked and he declined serviceThe technician also reported that the customer informed him that he has someone who can do the work for a cheaper priceIt appears price has a lot to do with his complaint, as he mentions it thru out Therefore the tech made a decision to not spend any further time with this particular customer and move on to a customer who has the need for our servicesThe published camera fee is $As the customer noted he was only charged $that was for the snaking and the trip feeAt this time we feel that we have provided the customer with as much educated information as we canThe specials that he is referring too are published on our website and are published for residential customersWhen asked about the property the customer informed us that it is a residential property, therefore if he had provided us with accurate information the customer would have been informed of commercial practicesAt this time we feel no refund is applicable as we restored flow to the drain

The fact to this matter is I had to pay for the same job twice if Gillece would have done the job right the first time I would not have had to pay twiceThey did not honor there warranty at all and since I had the work done by a real professional it hasn't backed up sinceI [redacted] never use them again and [redacted] advise anyone to never use a company that does not honor it warranty

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolvedI would be happier if they would tell me when it will be paid since this claim is over months old Regards, [redacted]

My drain backed up a couple days later and I have found a certified Plummer who said the drain was not fully cleared because you did not use the house trap [redacted] filed a claim against my barbershop under the name [redacted] using his email address in retaliation for my claim against GilleceHis actions are very unprofessional, and shows his true character

To clarify options presented, technician [redacted] who wrote the contract strongly advised against Option which was only an “attempt” to hydro-jet tree roots from exterior drain line Was told this isn’t a viable option since it’s only a temporary fix until roots grow back, has no warranty, would likely not work and cause flooding due to clog location I would be out $1,and have to pick another option at full price Technician [redacted] said that hydro-jetting will blow out a leach field and can’t believe this was quoted as a feasible optionThis only leaves Options & Option – “Replace full interior line w/ new pump” Was not necessary since roots were found approximately feet out exterior drain line leading to septic tank during “No clog is too big for Gilley’s Clog Crusher” snaking and video camera inspection In fact, the same working, gravity fed interior drain line located under basement floor was used in Option 2.Therefore, Option wasn’t the lowest cost but the only obvious choice given the optionsHowever, Gillece did not fulfill Option as specifically documented on the contract since a “sewage ejector” and “HEPA filter” were not used [redacted] 1ŽHP “sewage” pumps sell retail between $and $ Instead, a 1ŽHP [redacted] Utilitech sump pump (Item #239985) was installed and retails for $ This is a huge $to $plus tax difference in cost and a sump pump will likely get clogged over time with laundry lint and sediment.Looking at the contract provided, there is no denying that BOTH Options & required some form of a pump and is the direct cause of gurgling Attached is a statement from a reputable plumbing company with a possible fix Confirming that the vent stack above the kitchen sink should be adequate but a very loud suction noise emits from the kitchen sink trap only when the pump is in operation due to the high discharge rate Gillece technicians [redacted] (on Saturday, June 6th 2015) and Brent both witnessed this and agree that I shouldn’t have to live with such racket and my request is not unreasonable [redacted] was to present this argument to Gillece at a meeting on Monday, June 8th and I was waiting to hear backI will not be a satisfied customer or recommend Gillece until this is resolved Again, Gillece did not deliver Option as specified and refuses to honor their 100% satisfaction guarantee as clearly stated“Guarantee on all workmanship and products We will come back at no additional cost until you are satisfied with our services.” (SEE ATTACHED)In closing and most importantly, pump surges and loud gurgling occur continually as it rains keeping me awake at night If the pump malfunctions or a brief power outage happens during; or many hours after a storm, without a battery backup or generator, the basement without outside access is quickly flooded This investment should give me peace of mind and add to resale value but only increases my problems I would have been much better off finding someone to rip up the backyard to replace the exterior line Storm water runoff, battery backup, and what needs done was not quoted as options I fail to see any contract options they claim to reference “that would have corrected” gurgling such as installing an air admittance valve I wish to have this forwarded and the case escalated to President [redacted] Thank you for your prompt attention in this matter,

Dear BBB,thank you for allowing us to reply to this complaint. The customers only complaint to us after two weeks of installation was that they wanted their money back because they pay too much we offer to come back out for no fee to be look at the problem and the customer denied. We attempted to... read look at the problem to verify that our repair was indeed the correct one. At this time we are unable to assist the customer as they only want a refund and one is to remove the parts we installed due to what they consider is a high price. The customer is beyond her three-day right of rescission in at this time unless we can not do anything.

Dear Revdex.com,Once again thank you for allowing us to share the "truth of the matter" This complaint is invalid, the "customer" aka business owner was given the camerawhile our plumber was there he informed the customer that he felt the trap was not in proper working orderhe suggested that the customer start with either hydro scrubbing or replacing the trapAs the camera would not make it beyond the trap and it was under water and unable to see what exactly was going on The customer informed the plumber that he has a "guy" that us can use to do the workAt that point the plumber didn't feel the need to be there and packed up and leftTo wrap this up, We snaked the line, we camered the line, the customer has another person he can use, would not use Gillece to perform any of the workWanted to use us for the free camera, that we did provide (it is also our right to refuse this service if we feel its in the best interest of the company)So basically this "customer" filed a complaint because we did not pin point the exact location of the problem so his handy man could illegally excavate the lineI say illegally because in Allegheny county a registered plumber is needed to perform plumber repairs and have such work inspectedWe feel that we have performed the work that the customer paid for and therefore at this time we do not see the need for a refund
