Just had my second go-round with them after sending them a copy of the canceled check. One letter says if we properly credit to the right account the other will be lapsed. The other letter says please send me (a different name) a copy of the check, blah, blah, blah.

Apparently no one is in charge and no one has the willingness to dig even a little.

This latest call was to a customer service representative sho apparently has no authority and says she'll send it to the back office. Yeah, right. And all of this after a really tortured path to finally get someone to speak to.

My Father died back in March. I have contacted the company regarding a policy he owned. I was told since it was purchased so long ago it did not show up in their computer systems. Told I would be contacted but have heard nothing from them.

Recently I emailed and faxed a letter with copies of the my father's death certificate and still no word from this company. Makes me wonder if they even exist!

Am happy with he company so far. But recently I tried to contact them and found their web site difficult to navigate. Frustrating. After several attempts was directed to call back during regular day light hours. Had I known this to begin with, I could have saved myself a lot of trouble and frustration. You folks need to work on that.

Policy #008EXXXXX, insuring the life of Nathan Calhoun, is a juvenile whole life policy issued 01/08/16 in the amount of $25,000.00 and includes a $10,000.00 accidental death rider. Two $5,000.00 term life riders were added, bringing the total face amount to $35,000.00 (not including the accidental death rider). *** is the policy owner and designated beneficiary.

Our records indicate Ms. contacted Globe Life via telephone on 08/06/19 requesting cancellation of the policy. Ms. alleges in her complaint that the customer service representative (Pat) told her there was $3,600.00 in cash value. However, that simply is not the case.

A supervisor in Customer Service has reviewed a recording of the 08/06/19 telephone call between the customer service representative (Pat) and Ms.. At no time during this phone call did Pat give Ms. a cash value amount. Further, the customer service representative did not laugh at Ms., as alleged in the complaint.

Policy #008EXXXXX did not have any cash value when Ms. called to cancel the coverage on 08/06/19. For your reference, I am enclosing a copy of the policy. I respectfully direct your attention to the Table of Nonforfeiture Values on Page 7, which clearly shows there is no cash value until the fifth policy year. This policy was in its fourth year when it was cancelled.

Global life insurance, is lying they deleted.! my message just because they are high rich companies they will do anything they want.! And always get what they want. They *** answer to God .! When they leave this world. I'm good with myself.!

I requested information from Globe Life online concerning a life insurance policy in June and during the request, it asked for credit card information. After I received the request packet via the mail it stated that I needed to pay an initial fee to start the policy. I never submitted the request forms but in August 2 months later Globe Life debited my bank account and opened the policy without my consent. I called them and spoke with a rep and a supervisor who stated that even though I did not pay the initial premium to start the account they will sometimes pay it for you and then debit your account for to future payments. I told them that I never authorized this transaction and if I did not send the paperwork in I obviously did not want to proceed with the policy and that I would like a refund because I went with a more lucrative company with better rates. They told me that I would need to send a written letter with a bank statement stating that I wanted a refund. I asked why would I need to send in a written letter when the transaction was unauthorized, to begin with, and what's the purpose of a bank statement when you received the funds electronically. They kept saying that This is the process that I would need to follow to get my money back, so I just hung the phone up and proceeded to dispute the transaction with my bank and write the Revdex.com for assistance with this matter.

did not simply request information regarding a Globe Life insurance product online, as indicated in the complaint. On 06/22/19, Mr. actually submitted an application for $50,000.00 life insurance coverage.

If he had only "requested information", Globe Life would not have asked Mr. to designate a beneficiary, answer questions regarding his health history, provide bank account information, or authorize the Company to obtain information regarding his health history from the Medical Information Bureau, Inc. (MIB) or a pharmacy benefits manager. These are all things that Mr. provided Globe Life on 06/22/19 during the application process.

Based on the internet application submitted 06/22/19, Globe Life issued policy 0024M9057, a substandard term life policy, effective 06/25/19. The policy was mailed to Mr. within 2-3 business days of the date of issue.

Mr. alleges in his complaint that Globe Life has debited his bank account and wants a refund. However, there is nothing in our records indicating any premium payments were received for this policy.

If Mr. will provide a copy of his bank statement showing a payment to Globe Life for the above policy, we will be happy to review our records further and refund, if applicable. I called for a change beneficiary form. Still haven't received it weeks later and they have the brass to email me, asking for satisfaction rating. Ha! Seriously? I told them to cancel the policy. Haven't heard a WORD from the jerks, but they sure did do the monthly automatic premium deduction. So I'm paying for a policy I no longer want, that has a beneficiary that I don't want as beneficiary any longer!! But globe doesn't give a ***, as long as they get the money. DO NOT GET A POLICY WITH GLOBE.

Now September 9th, still haven't heard back anything from Globe. This is why I want the policy canceled, and the last automatic payment deduction reversed. THEY IGNORE THEIR CUSTOMERS! And I still have a beneficiary on the policy that I don't want on there, but they never sent the the change beneficiary form I called for around August 20th!. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!

Globe Life responded to Ms. address of record on 9/13/19 and provided a copy of the change of beneficiary form that was sent to her on 8/16/19 to the address we have on file. Ms. has cancelled the policy and it has been taken off of bank draft and is now cancelled.

they deducted my monthly premium, the next day I cancelled & they verified twice I would have that premium returned via check and usps.
when I called to check on refund (2x) was told it could take a month. After a month I called again and was told that they never give refunds and that premium was used to extend my coverage one more month. I did not want another day of coverage and they lied about issuing the refund until it was too late to get it. Now I cannot reach them at all. They seem to refuse to speak to me.

A premium payment in the amount of $52.74 was drafted from Ms. account, per her previous authorization, 07/14/19. This premium paid her policy #002JXXXXX to 08/09/19.

Ms. contacted Globe Life via telephone on 07/17/19 requesting cancellation of the policy and asked about a refund of the premium that had just been processed. Ms. was told that it could take up to 30 business days to process, which is normal procedure. Globe Life does not process a premium refund for 30-days from the date the payment is received in order to ensure that the payment clears the consumer's bank.

Ms. contacted Globe Life again on 08/15/19 regarding the refund. Per procedure, Ms. was advised to make her request in writing. No written request for refund was received from Ms. prior to the Revdex.com complaint.

Enclosed, please find a copy of Globe Life's check #XXXXXX in the amount of $52.74, refunding the last premium drafted for Ms. policy. The check is being sent to Ms. today via regular mail. We ask that Ms. please allow at least 10 business days to receive the check, as our mail is sorted at an off-site facility before being delivered to the US Postal Service for mailing.

I have had several Globe Life Policies for the past 20 years, for myself, my husband, my children and grandchildren with no problems. Just recently had a question which I sent via e-mail and they answered within a few hours with the answers to my questions. Definitely a great company. It takes days to be able to speak to a person. When I finally got through we were disconnected during the conversation. I tried calling back but was told the office was closed. The automated system said the hours were 7:30 to 6:30, no true since we were cut off at 6pm. The reason for the call was my policy. Apparently someone thinks I lied about having brain cancer. Now I have to wait 7 to 10 days for an explanation. Total unhappy about the experience.

As of now, I have twice requested the information used to incorrectly change the answer to question 2. The email I recieved today invited me to write to Globe Life to request the information used in their decision. As stated I have already made this request twice. I fear for anyone who has a claim with this company.

Requested cancellation of policy and have been told vastly different timelines from three different reps. Getting runaround
Called on 8/19 to confirm process for cancellation and was told to submit the death certificate for the policy owner with request to cancel & to allow 7-10 days for processing. Faced death certificate with request to cancel on 8/21 & called on 8/23 to confirm receipt. Was told on 8/23 it would be 7 days processing max. Called today, 8/27, to check status & am now told it is 7-10 business days processing plus another 15 business days for the check to arrive. This is completely unacceptable.

Policy #XXXXXXXXX, insuring the life of *** A. ***, is a whole life policy issued effective 12/17/1986 in the amount of $6,000.00. The owner of the policy was Ms. grandfather, *** W. *** Upon his death, ownership automatically transferred to Ms., pursuant to policy provisions.

In order to process Ms. request to surrender the policy, it was necessary to obtain proof of Mr. death first. Such proof was received on 08/21/2019, along with Ms. request for surrender.

Upon receipt of this information, our records were changed to reflect *** as the policy owner. The form necessary to surrender the policy was sent to Ms. on 08/21/2019. A copy the form is enclosed for your reference. To date, Globe Life has not received the completed surrender request form back from Ms..

Our customer service representatives are trained to inform the consumer that it takes 15 business days to process a surrender once the written request (surrender form) is received, then 7-10 business days for mailing (i.e. to receive the check after it is mailed from the Company). While it is Globe Life's procedure to process all surrender requests in a timely manner, the policy language does allow the Company to defer payment for up to six months.

If Ms. *** return the completed surrender request form to my attention, I *** see to it that the policy is surrendered immediately. The original request doesn't need to be mailed; she can send it to me via fax (405/XXX-XXXX) or via email (***@Globe.***). If Ms. prefers to mail the request, it can be sent to the address below:

This is a perfect example of how this company operates. This response contains completely different information than any of the 5+ reps have provided. The "form" referenced was never mentioned despite specifically asking several different reps what was needed to surrender the policy. The "form" was received last week with no return envelope and no return address. There was no fax or phone number provided, as you can see from the "form" attached to the response. This is likely the reason they have not received the signed "form" as I mailed it to the only address listed for them which is in Oklahoma City. Per the response, this is not the correct address. What legitimate business requests information from a customer without providing accurate contact information for returning the return of such information? I *** now jump through yet another hoop to get this policy cancelled; the signed "form" *** be sent via fax today seeing as how their company cannot locate the original signed "form" sent one week ago.

Finally got the cancellation processed & received the check. Sad that it took this complaint to get things moving.

I called to apply for their insurance I did an online application was approved I was informed my policy would arrive in the mail it never did no one called back to follow up with me I'm guessing I was probably scammed with my personal info and the only thing I did receive from them was an application for children's insurance not what I even asked for I specifically told them my kids were grown not a good company I called them because they offered a less expensive plan than I currently had now I'm stuck with no insurance and need to start over again!
