On August 18, 2014, you signed a Retail Installment Sale Contract (“Contract”) for the purchase of a Chevrolet Cruze in the amount of $16,at an interest rate of 18.00%The contract is a simple interest contract which means interest accrues daily on the unpaid principal balance
On May 31, 2018, the vehicle was involved in an accident and was subsequently declared a total loss by Go Auto Insurance (“Go Auto”)On June 28, 2018, GM Financial received a payment from Go Auto in the amount of $5,The GAP proceeds in the amount of $2,were received on July 6, As per your contract, the payments were applied to the balance of your account effective May 31, We may apply each payment to the earned and unpaid part of the Finance Charge, to the unpaid part of the Amount Financed and to any other amounts you owe under this contract in any order we chooseInsurance proceeds will only be applied to the principal balance of the accountThe insurance proceeds received from Go Auto and GAP have been applied to your account balance and were not enough to pay the amount you owe

Thank you for the response but unfortunately GM Financial has not reported truthful or accurate information to the credit agencies I have provided an accurate timeline in my previous response and have not been given any information on why my confirmed recurring payment was cancelled and why I was not informed of this in order to correct the mistake made by GM Financial Based on GM Financials statement and by several customer service representatives at GM Financial there was a mistake made that cancelled recurring payments If it was not your mistake, then why were my late fees waived? I was never charged a late fee and set up a recurring payment for a second time as soon as I knew my payments were not going through I was assured several times before this that the recurring payment problem was resolved but obviously this was not the case It was clear that I made several attempts to make sure my payments were set up correctly but there was miscommunication with GM customer service representatives and some internal problems with the system
