Purchased a 24xDeluxe Garage for $15,from Tuff Shed Through the local [redacted] located in Cedar Rapids IowaThe garage was installed on June In May ofI noticed several issues with the Garage and requested they be repaired as follows; A problem with one window which would fall from the track,an entrance door which was leaking when it rained and roof shingles curling and becoming loose and slipping out of placeA tuff shed mechanic came to repair the above problems as the garage was still under year warrantyThe mechanic found the window problem was caused by the original work crew installing the window upside down causing it to fall from the trackThe window casing was removed and the window was reinstalled properly, this fixed that problemThe problem with the door leak was incorrectly identified as a door weather strip problem and to fix the leaking the mechanic moved the weather strip down the trackThis did not fix the problem as the bottom of the door

[redacted] = Purchase location was not on your drop down I purchased the shed after two years research based on the display quality and discussion with salesperson The shed was built- When done nearly a hundred nails poking out, boards split from using nail gun and nails which were too big Built with my pavers, which were protruding, not as discussed with sales or as the display Door was put in on the wrong side of wall( I pointed this out prior to it being built.) Roof has a flap in it that may settle? I worked with them and had a warranty person out who cut 2/of the nails Within three days the shed was full of holes where the part of the nail left in fell out I called and discussed with manager I He assured me they would come out at this appointment and make it all correct The door has been moved, now see daylight around it The leveling blocks were replaced using theirs not my pavers The second half of nails which were t

Our shed was installed on October 11th however the roof was not installed because it was not ordered correctly. We were told that it would be some time that next week that we received it and that the black paper which is a weather barrier would protect the base layer of the roof. It is now Friday and still no roof or finished product. No phone call back for that matter. I spoke with Yoselin H [redacted] and Warren, who claimed to be the GM of that location and he said he'd personally follow up on it for me...but no luck in receiving any communication on next steps. We are experiencing rain and heavy winds. I am concerned about the integrity of my new shed which has been paid if full. Very disappointed after all the hoops we had to go through in order for this to happen, not to mention the price!

The day the shed was to be installed the team came from Denver to Grand Junction do the job and everything seemed to be going well until the guys realized they had the wrong pieces to do the job The men put a tarp over the little stuff they had managed to build and left to go back to Denver, which is about to hours away They didn't come back to finish the job for another week! Not a problem, but an inconvenience since our time line for other projects got skewedWe had planed to install a pool near the shed and had to push all the work that entailed and missed two days of work My husband spoke to Jameka Spencer the manager in the Denver office who said she would give us a credit of for our inconvenienceWe agreed and waited As time went by and the bill for the shed was PAID IN FULL with our home depot credit card we realized that we actually were billed using Grand Junction City taxes We live outside the city limits, therefore we do not pay the same rates, we

We have a new home with a ten foot gate which the installers damaged when trying to back into the backyard for easier accessIt will no longer shut properly One of their installers was pulling it open too hard and then tried to push it in the wrong way and damaged itI believe it may have something to do with the hinges The gate is months old and still under our house warranty so if it was not working properly we would have gone to the home builders but it wasn't broken before the installers pulled back on it too hardI do not believe our home builder should have to pay to fix someone else's mistake The insurance and legal people at Tuff Sheds said they did not break it and will not fix itThe gate opened fine when they arrived and I noticed it did not open fine the very next day when I went to get the garbage barrel out

I went into Home Depot and purchased a large Garage thinking this would be easier than me building it myself as I own a small business and could do it myself, but because I am in the busy season would hope this would be the answer. WHAT A NIGHT MARE! I had to make several calls to Jim the Tuff shed representative for Thornton Home Depot and he never called me back. I was pleased to deal with the Home Depot people as they knew what I was talking about. Then I get a call from a Michelle W [redacted] who said she was my point of contact. I contacted her with the permits and inspection needed and did most of the leg work. Then the calls stopped from her. I contacted the main office several times and only got voice mail and no return calls. Nice Customer Service? NO! I had to take 2 days off of work to make sure they would be showing up to build the garage, Only to never get a confirmation or a return phone call. As I was in the planning stages I submitted the required plans from the City tp pass code and advised tuff shed several times what needed to be done, again never to get a response. Finally Last week I was able to get ahold of Travis and He working in the Vice Presidents office and called me back and then Low and Behold Jim called me back telling me that I needed to pay an additional $1700 for the required fire break that would of cost me $100 in materials to do it myself. then to be told I couldn't do it because it would void the warranty. Um, Dry wall doesn't void anything! Finally Jim returned my call again and wanted the money and said they would settle for $700 and I would have to go back to Home Depot and pay. What a mess!!!! So today I have been waiting patiently for a call to confirm they were going to install my Garage tomorrow only to be sent to voice mail every tie I call them. My next Question is how does the BBB give this company a A+ rating when out of 27 reviews- 20 are NEGATIVE 2 are NEUTRAL and 5 are POSITIVE? Seems like a scam!

Shed was build with material that I feel was not up to specifications I took pictures and asked for the Tuff Shed Store #out of Zangs Drive, San Antonio, Texas (210) 680-to replace defective studs and shims with better quality wood materialNot to mention that the shed has already been on my property for days and will not have anyone out to address my issue until the following week creating a major inconvenience of; the inability to utilize and fill the shedAdditionally they stated they will replace or repair only what they want to replace and repairThis to me is unacceptable, as I have paid over $3,dollars for this product!! Would like corporate to step in and assist me with me problem! I've only had this product for days!! THIS PRODUCT WAS PURCHASED THROUGH [redacted] ***

I per paid $for a 8Xstorage shed to be constructed in our back yard I got approval through our HOA and a building permit from the city of Huntsville Building was constructed started on 5-10- All as completed except the building tie downs required on m permit, I have contacted Tuff Sheds via mail, phone messages, phone conversations and sales person contact and have not received a date the building will be competed All I ask is the project be completed as per contract so I can get Huntsville City Inspectors approve the project and I can start using the building

I had a horrible first time experience.I walked up during business hrs and a older man working told me to leave with his hand with no explanation!i said but it says open and online as well.he told me to Foff threw the windowI feel discriminated against and I have the employees name at the Fairfield Ca location

I purchased a Tuff Shed back in August Everything went great right up to the start of the install Tuff Shed supposedly had someone come out to inspect the install, but I don’t think that happened Morning of, the installers are telling my brother they cannot install the shed where we discussed My brother had to trim some of the tree in order for them to install the shed in the back yard It would have been nice to be informed prior to the installers coming to the house At the end of the day the installers were not done installing and had to come back the next day I asked Gustavo if I could start moving items in because I had a few friends coming over to help on Saturday He told me no, because the city has to come and inspect the shed empty I was NEVER informed by my sales rep that there would have to be a city inspection My sales rep called me on Monday morning, Labor day to ask me how the install went I told him the truth The install was fine, but he lied to me! He said he would have Jason call me Tuesday morning I gave Jason until ten in the morning before I called and left a message At 3:PMI still had not heard from him I decided to call again and he answered the phone Told me that he was to busy to call me back and it wasn’t the end of the day yet I preceded to tell him the lies that were told me He didn’t care He said he would have Greg the manager call me Once again, no phone calls! Once I finally got a hold of Greg it was still the same attitude There is nothing they can do and they don’t care They had the sale and they were going to receive their commission I called the corporate office and also returned phone calls to the accounting department because NO ONE would communicate Once again, I did eventually talk to an accounting person and she told me she would not send me to collections until they knew the inspection had happened Never received another phone call and was then sent to collections The corporate office told me that someone would call and of course they never did! Of course when the city inspector finally did come Tough Shed did not have the paperwork in the shed and Jason had to print it off and bring the paperwork out Which once again delayed the inspection I still to this day do not know if my shed has been inspected by the city I was on a time frame because I was moving items from a garage into the shed The house was being sold and I had to get the items move Because of Tuff Shed I had to rent a storage unit to put the items into If they would have been honest and told me everything to being with I probably would have not have bought the shed because I didn’t have much time But they wanted the sale and didn’t care about the lies and how they treat their customers to get the sale Now, I am receiving collection notices This is a terrible company which I will never use again This is the third shed my family has purchased from Tuff Shed! I am very disappointed in the way this company handles any issues from top to bottom
Thank you

I had a very bad experienceI called and emailed asking why it was taking so long, and they responded that it was the City, after hearing the same explanation, I called the City and they told me that they were waiting for documents from Tuff Shed and they didn't receive the request for a permit until January 2016.I paid for the shed Oct , I questioned why I was charged so much for painting the shed in which I bought the paint separately, I was told that the permit and/or additional costs would be under $100, it was $It took close to months to complete the projectI emailed the General Manager and asked to be compensated for my bad experience besides an apologyThis was an very unacceptable service

My grandfather John has been pushed around by Mike *** (regional manager) and every one below himThey tell John that the shed they put up is acceptable, regardless of the nails that were the wrong size that protrude beyond the partial wood in the roofThey did take the saftey hazard screws out by the door handle but the ones all around the bottom of the roof still present a cut hazard that is unacceptable especially since the wrong size nail was usedTuff Shed states the gaps in between the wall paneling, the roof and the floor is acceptableThis hazard may very well be accepted by many but going to OSHA standards and a engineer it's a hazard and a accident waiting to happenMy grandfather deeply regrets this purchase due to the comparison of what was installed in and still has non of these hazards

We're getting the run around since we bought this shed on July 19th, fro Tuff ShedTook about month before anything was filed with the city where we liveWe had to contact Cassandra several times and were provided inaccurate information on several occasionsWith all the misinformation and miscommunication from this company in Ft.Lauderdale they finally got things squared away with the cityWhen they finally came to install almost one month later they were missing boards and the design they were getting ready to install was not we orderedThey promised to come back the following day but didn'tWhen they did come back about or days later they were still missing part of the shed that we orderedThat was on Wednesday 11thThey again promised to return with the rest of the shed on Friday 14th or Saturday 15th, they never showed upAgain we had to follow up with the office and was promised that they would be here todayAfter waiting around from 7am to 3pm we sent an e-ma

I purchased a x *** *** Storage Tuff Shed from the *** *** in Newport News VA on the 8th of August I contacted both *** *** and Tuff Shed in North Carolina continuously over the past weeks to coordinate for the delivery and sof the shed I purchased yet remain unsuccessful*** *** claimed Tuff Shed is solely responsible for delivery and washed their hands of itTuff Shed's Customer Service Department has claimed for the last weeks that someone call me back shortly with a delivery timeline, but never callWhen I re-contact them, they draft excuses of incompetent delivery sub-contractors and promise resolution with a return call back within a few daysTuff Shed has not attempted to contact me back with any information to schedule delivery

On July, 31, 2018, the Tuff Shed Office at West Valley Highway in Tukwila, WA, promised a $paint refundEven after multiple letters, e-mails and phone calls it has not been grantedThe customer service in this office is the worst I've ever experiencedAdditionally, a used lock was installed on my new Tuff Shed building during constructionThe lock's key had been broken off insideIt took two months of monumental effort to get a new lock installedI was not able to use the shed until a workable lock was installed

I Purchased A Garage Back In June And Was Promised By The Salesman, *** *** That The Project Would Be Completed By Mid To Late July, So Based On His Word I Made My Initial Deposit Of $6,By Late July I Had Not Been Contacted By Tuff Shed About My Project, I Emailed And Left Voicemail Messages And I Couldn't Get A ResponseI Had To Physically Show Up At The Denver Store And Ask What Was Going On In Regards To The Product I Had Ordered, That's When They Began Calling The City Of Aurora About The Plans That Were Submitted And Was Told I Would Be Updated In A Week Or TwoBy Mid August, Again I Had Not Heard Back From Anyone, My Calls Weren't Being Returned So I Sent An Email On 8/16/at 6:53pm About Wanting My Refund Because *** *** Had Not Lived Up To His Promise About The Timing Of My ProjectBy 8pm That Same Evening I Received An Email From The Salesman That They Coincidentally Just Received The PermitsFunny How It Happened After Mentioning The Word 'Refund'

Very unhappy!! The installers broke our foot gate and they Tucs refuse to fix itThe installer tried to open it too wide and then tried to push it in the wrong wayOur house and gate are still under warranty from our home builders but the home builder shouldn't have to pay to fix someone else's carelessnessThe gate is only months old and worked fine until they broke itThe Tucson owner on Gas Rd said they did not break itTotal lieIt's under warranty and we could get it fixed for free if it had been broken prior

Just canceled my order after months of them doing nothing but giving me the run aroundLied multiple times to me and my wifeWorst customer service Even there corporate office had trouble getting in contact with the Indy office

TuffShed Tucson came to my property for a large shed install The panels are supposed to be pained before they install it, they weren't They neglected to tell me they needed my custom color paint (which I bought and paid for) until the afternoon before the install I couldn't leave work to spend an hour and half back and forth to hand them the paint But they violated their own practice and came the next morning with the panels unpainted
The location of the build site complied with the 4" max elevation difference before they charge Their installer stated they do not do any ground prep work That's funny because their own brochure states they do for elevation differences of 4" or less free of charge
The other issue I had was that they not only don't do anything to mitigate settling/sinking, they even expect it There documents should state the way to mitigate this sinking/settling, it doesn't Mitigation techniques would be to shore it up with thin cinder blocks/concrete or some kind of solid secured surface
The bottom line is not only do they not care what happens after they install their pricey structures, which was evident with their decision to cancel my order, they intend to make money from the customers dissatisfaction by refusing to install it but still charge a 30% restocking fee I asked for the install to be rescheduled so I can shothe site suitable to mitigate sinking/settling They refusedHow often and how much money do they make from situations like this This is paramount to Grand Larceny
Though I provided pictures of the build site proving the site was within the 4" max grade, their General Manager continued to contest my picture proof that the site was compliant for their "free" leveling The General Manager knows nothing about good customer service which is evident of the numerous poor ratings and complaints on the Revdex.com and other places TuffShed used to be good when I had them install a very large shed about years ago, but since the General Manager has been working their (since 2014), the service has eroded and shady practices have flourished
