Tuff Shed installed my Shed with defect's that they will not address
They say I have a warranty I called and sent pictures of defects but
no action has been made on there behalf other than to touch up unpainted
area's of the building almost a year after construction
There are other issue's to be looked at but none has been dealt with by Tuff Shed
My concerns go unanswered

Contracted for custom garage 1/29/to be completed by 7/20/Paid $1K when contracted, remainder $41K in thirds They submitted for permit , plans are still not done with redline items we are now over months past promised completion dateSeems they fired the Mesa AZ salesman and no one will return phone calls or e mails to me..all the way from the new local salesman to the Phoenix Factory General manager all the way to their national sales manager in Denver ...TERRIBLE

What can I say about this company - well it took months to get my shop up and finished
We were told when we first went in months max- it took over months to the plans engineered and then they were wrong and had to go back and have them corrected
They went to the city than had to have some of the plans changed again took another months
Once we finally got a date for them to build - the works said as they are dropping off the shed days and well will be done- so you are telling me you can build a 24xshop with an upstairs and staircase ( we had to ask them several times to come out and fix the staircase as it was not safe) and they did not have the right doors and that took weeks to get them and they dented and they suggested we had dented them
when the windows
were installed they had gotten caulk all over the window so we had to have them order a new one well that took weeks as they came out with the wrong window the first time
And the communication was just plain BAD- took days to get back with us and always had some excuse why they were late getting back with us and if they told us a worker was coming out to fix something it might happen or it might not
There is much more but I just want people to know buyer beware and do your research
They also cracked our brand new driveway that we had not even driven on and only was willing to part for part of the repair- not happy about this at all
We do like the shop now hat we have made it right

Nightmare of a companyProduct has been installed in my backyard for a month and Tuff Shed still hasn't given me an invoiceI dont even know what I am paying forThe billing was messed up right out of the gatesThey told me different prices AFTER installNow I have creditors calling me and I wont pay them bc I dont know WHAT I am paying forI have had zero help from Tuff ShedThey told me times they were going to send me an updated invoice and still nothingDo not use this companyProtect yourself

I ordered a shed through Home Depot with Tuff Shed The ordering was smooth and the person I had contact with, Cree, worked with me in ordering the shed The shed was installed in December but the vent wasn't with the order I called Cree and he said he would have someone out the next day Of course that didn't happen I called all of December and finally reached Cree at the beginning of JanuarySince he wasn't answering my calls I used another phone to call him and he finally answeredHe stated he was on vacation and didn't have his phone He promised to get someone out to install the vent the next day The next day came and the next with no vent and I couldn't reach Cree I finally called the company and they sent someone out to install the vent I felt I was getting the run around since I paid in advance I plan to move in the near future and will probably need a shed but I will not order a shed from Tuff Shed again nor will I recommend the company With the lack of contact and lack of customer service I wouldn't recommend this company The shed looks nice and is what we wanted but the hassle of dealing with the company isn't worth it

I purchased a sq ft Tuff Shed with one window and French doors on July 6, It was paid in full at the time of purchase, approximately $7,It was promised to be delivered and erected within about weeksAfter almost months, two different construction crews, and many attempts at building the shed, it is still not finishedEach time either wrong materials, wrong tools or mistakes in prefabrication have interrupted and delayed constructionMany calls and many emails to the salesmanMultiple phone calls to the schedulerMultiple calls made to the assistant manager, still unresolvedTwo weeks ago I sent a formal letter stating the problems in detail and sent it to the *** Manager, and the Regional Tuff Shed Manger--neither responded, nor repliedPhone calls are not returned

We purchased a Tuff-Shed on February 13, We paid $for the shed, $for window options, $for misc options like roof vents, and $for the shed to be painted at the time of installOn the day Tuff Shed arrived to construct the shed, it was raining fairly hardThe employees attempted to paint the shed but the paint ran and smeared due to the rainThey apologized for the mess and told me to call Tuff Shed to have the shed repaintedI called Tuff Shed and about a month later they sent another employee out to re-paint the shedThe employee started to repaint the shed but soon realized he had brought the wrong colorHe left and advised me to call Tuff Shed to rescheduleFor the past months I attempted to reschedule with Tuff Shed but was always told I would be given a call back, but no one ever called backI am talking literally dozens to calls to Tuff Shed to resolve this issue and not once have I been given a call back as promisedEventually, I decided to pain

I am a repeat customer of Tuff Shed and regret to say that I will never do business with Tuff Shed in the future and will certainly not recommend them to anyone who may inquire of my experience I sat down with a sales rep from my local Tuff Shed branch in late-October of and worked out the details of the type of shed and additions That night I submitted a check for approximately 10% of the total cost Within two days, I was informed by that rep that he forgot to include anchors and that I would need to pay some additional money to cover that cost I returned the call and explained that I would NOT be paying the additional fee and that Tuff Shed would be responsible for covering that cost The rep agreed I was told that by the time a permit was issued, that the build would take place around mid-February of As rolled around, I had not heard anything new about a February build so I inquired of my sales rep who did not return my contacts in a timely manner Come to find out, he had been sick and was "behind" on doing the work necessary to keep the project moving on schedule By this time, I was tired of the endless excuses and asked the local General Manager to assign me a new rep to help complete the project The General Manager agreed that the rep should have passed the account to another rep, assigned me a new rep, and things progressed nicely for the next few weeks as a permit was FINALLY issued in about April, Since April, my new sales rep encouraged me to contact the company with a minor issue with my previous Tuff Shed I scheduled the appointment and the repair person did not show up It had to be rescheduled We also scheduled the first part of the installation of our NEW shed for a Saturday morning and was eventually informed that the crew was not available after all and we had to reschedule During this time, and prior to the build, another employee called me to notify me that they couldn't paint a door on the shed because the type of door I ordered does not look good with paint I was not informed of this by my sales rep and he agreed that sales reps should tell customers this He later called and asked if I wanted house wrap on the shed to which I stated that I did want it He told me over the phone that because of what I had already been through on this project, that he would include that at no charge When phase of the build took place, there was no house wrap on the shed I called and he claimed that house wrap would not be a good idea on the shed after all He did not tell me this over the phone prior to the build Phase of the build finally took place on SATURDAY, MAY 12th, 2018, though I paid my first installment in October of and was informed of a mid-February, build I spoke to the general manager and he was willing to take 5% off the cost of a nearly $10,shed I felt this was reasonable The completion of the build was scheduled for May 17, This included a rodoor, a side door, window, and completion of the roof My wife waited at home, but nobody showed up and it had to be rescheduled for a later date
This company has not followed through on promises, has not kept appointments on multiple occasions, has withheld information that would influence our decisions as customers, has not had a system in place to take care of customers when a sales rep is unable to perform his job, and has taken taken nearly SEVEN MONTHS to build a shed....and it STILL is not completed I feel like I continue to get the run-around from this company and they make mistakes or drop the ball every step of the process I am disappointed in Tuff Shed and expected a much better experience

I was out of town for Christmas On Dec 26th my neighbor in Lincoln California had tuff shed installed
They took down my fence, tresspassed on my propertyIn Lincoln there's a 5ft set back from house to fenceThe distance from neighbors house is ft to fence shed is 7ftThe shed was build touching the 4×fence post they even painted that so closeSo now the tuff shed is my fence Help

On 9/22/I was offered a partial refund of $after there were multiple issues with the delivery of the shedIt's been months now with me calling them nearly every week to check on the status of this, and I still haven't been given the refund

On 01/30/I purchased and paid for in full a house shell in the amount of $31,I was working with Tim A*** the area sales managerAfter the purchase we met and he asked me to get him the orientation drawings as to where I wanted the windows and doors placed On 02/I emailed him the drawings with the informationI was in the Loveland *** *** and ran into Tim A and we were talking about my project, this was on 03/he said that he hadn't received my drawings yet but that he would check again and let me knowI received an email from him that evening stating that he went back to January and didn't see anything so I sent the email again to himI hadn't heard anything from Tim for a while so I sent an email on 04/to see where things were with the projectHe emailed me back that day and said that he did receive the info and had submitted to engineering department but he noticed that the footings were not correct as the building I am having built will be heated so the

I don't ever write a review but this needs to be said so people can be warnedUnreliable, lack of communication, disorganized, the crews that came out below parI have changed my order several times for the shed was built, I wanted a bigger shed, garage door and some other things and nothing got added or taken awayPaint job was awful, they screwed up on many occasions with the floor, tore out my ground rod for electrical and never replacedI had to call corporate for them to actually call me backI'm not a angary guy all I wanted to know when things would be done They didn't even let me know when it was finished They took my money and ran very dissatisfied with the professionalism and the way they handled things and still areSeems like they are too busy with other projects to careNever use them again

I purchased the shed after two years research based on the display quality and discussion with salesperson
The shed was built- When done nearly a hundred nails poking out, boards split from using nail gun and nails which were too big Built with my pavers, which were protruding, not as discussed with sales or as the display Door was put in on the wrong side of wall( I pointed this out prior to it being built.) I purchased a 10xshed from the Lubbock, TX location and what should have been a hour installation is now going on weeks and is still not complete The manager of the store here (Roger) has not been responsive enough to get the job done I would not recommend purchasing anything from them

I don't understand how a company that does business like this stays in business What a terrible experience from start to finish (and still not finished) We went in to the Portland, OR office and sat down with a salesman We had shopped around so we knew exactly what we wanted and what to expect Still, he wasn't much of a salesman In fact, my wife and I left saying "Boy, they really want to sell their product, don't they?" (with extreme sarcasm)My wife had looked into financing ahead of time and got pre-approval Unfortunately the local Portland office had no record of any of that even though it was done through the appropriate channels Regardless, we put half down on the $shed and set an installation date Let them know that we would be bringing paint down to them to match the shed to the houseInstall day The crew was scheduled to show up between 8:00am and 10:00am on Saturday 8/11/ 10:30, no show Called the Portland office and they said they were one of the last crews out, but they would be there soon 11:00am Get a call from one of the contractors saying they blew a tire on the trailer and would be there soon 12:45-crew finally shows up They did indeed blow a tire, but hour and minutes is not "soon"They were installing the shed from 12:45pm until 7:30pm I wasn't home when they "finished" but once I got home, I was utterly disappointed Missing trim pieces, trim pieces not long enough, scuffed paint everywhere, many nails not driven in, screws driven in crooked/stripped out/not flush, scratched up door hardware (handles), and a door that was hung crooked Seriously looked like amateur hourMonday I called Tuff Shed to tell them I was not happy and that they needed to get a different crew to come out and fix all of the issues I had with the shed They said they would not be able to get someone out until the following Monday They asked if the contractors that did the install could get there earlier to fix the issues would that be okay? I said I would prefer not to have the original contractors out as I was unhappy with their work I also wanted them to see how bad of an install it really was (sent many pictures to them)I get a call from the contractor the same day (the same one that had installed the shed) and he was upset that I was unhappy with my Shed install "What's wrong with it, it's finished" I sent him the pictures as well and that was the last contact with him that I hadFast forward to Wednesday 8/15/ My neighbor said he saw some people working on the shed while my wife and I were at work Come home and sure enough, the contractor had been on my property (without my permission) attempting to fix the problems This did not sit well with me Regardless, still issues with the shedMonday 8/ I took the day off of work to accommodate the warranty crew from Tuff Shed being dispatched (or so I thought) 9:20am I get a call saying they can't get a crew out to me Nothing like the last moment to let the customer know So here we are almost two weeks past the install date and I still don't have a shed that I can use I have a $piece of yard furniture I don't even have a crew scheduled to come out and fix it yetAgain, I'm not sure how a company that puts the customer last stays in business as long as they have Even if they make it right at this point, I will steer people away from this company every opportunity I get

I WANTED TO MAKE SURE MY EXPERIENCE WITH TUFF SHED WAS AVAILABLE TO THOSE CHOSING TO PURCHASE FROM TUFF SHED IN THE FUTUREMY FIRST CONTACT WITH TUFF SHED REQUESTING A QUOTE SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RED FLAGI CALLED THEM AND SPOKE TO A GENTLEMAN GIVING ALL MY INFORMATION AND THE SPECIFICS OF WHAT I WANTED IN THE SHEDWE SPOKE FOR MINUTES AND HE WAS GOING TO EMAIL ME A QUOTESEVERAL DAYS GO BY AND NOTHING, SO I CONTACTED THEM AGAIN AND NO ONE KNEW WHO I SPOKE TO AND I HAD TO GIVE ALL THE INFORMATION AGAINWITHIN A FEW DAYS A SALES PERSON CAME OUT, MEASURED AND ASSURED ME THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEMS WITH LEVELING AND THAT THE SHED WOULD BE APPROXIMATELY TO INCHES OFF THE GROUND, LEVEL WITH AN EXISTING PAD AND THAT THEY WOULD BE OUT WITHIN TWO WEEKS TO INSTALLHE ALSO CAME BY AGAIN TO CHECK THE MEASURMENTS AND SAID IT WAS FINE AND HAD ME CHOSE ALL THE FEATURES WE WANTED AND PAINT COLORS SINCE WE WERE HAVING IT PAINTEDDURING THE INSTALL THE INSTALLERS TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD NEED

No application made to City of Sarasota until 1/19/ Permit #*** On 2/more info requested from city to Tuff No response from Tuff until almost months later on 3/30/ We were told by Tuff that this was due to the loss of an employee and piled up paperwork
It is now May 4thmonths later and we have no shed heading into another hurricane season
I personally went to the City of Sarasota to try and help expedite the permits Now we need to rent a Pod before we head back to Chicago We want Tuff to pay for the cost of the Pod and give us a discount due to the incredible aggravation and inconvenience Crazy!
