POSITIVE ENDING to a horrible experienceYesterday afternoon, 9/12, I finally got all my issues taken care of with my Tuff Shed despite dealing with the some of the Milpitas personnel and the lack of communication between them and the actual crew that is sent out to do the warranty work I finally just had enough yesterday morning and contacted the Corporate Office, left a message and waited It was a wonderful surprise that they did return my call as I wasn't sure if they would He was extremely concerned about what I had experienced and still going thru will the factory here in California He gave me is direct line and email address so I could send him the photos that I had taken of the shed and he was going to make sure this was taken care of that day He gave me the GM's name of the Milpitas location as well so I could contact him if needed It was a breathe of fresh air to know that someone in Corporate actually cared about me and my time as I had taken off days total for this work to be done So many reschedules it was crazy, but not today Corporate now involved Before I hung up with him, he told me to call him if anything else came up during the scheduled warranty work that day - which I did To make a long story short as it did get a little heated with the Production Manager on the phone but got resolved So now the POSITIVE ENDING to this story Enrique and Richard are the BEST WARRANTY CREW EVER!!!!! These two should be an install team as you wouldn't have any issues with your shed from the beginning They are both very professional, hard workers and you can tell they take major pride in their work On occasion I would look outside to see the progress and just watching them on how meticulous they were, again a very nice fresh air to see that and was able to relax and feel confidence that finally it would be what we ordered and paid for They had replaced three pieces of trim, touched up the paint in areas where there were valleys and replaced the shingles with the correct ones After they were done, I went outside to look at my shed and was very pleased Richard stayed with me as I looked over the shed and all the work they did and I thanked him and told him that I really appreciated everything they did Enrique and Richard cleaned up everything in the backyard, never knew they were there another huge plus as I have a 80lb dog that plays out there Before they both packed up their trucks and left, I went back outside and thanked them both for sure a WONDERFUL job and told them that they should be an install crew (LOL), they just smiled Shortly afterwards, I called Corporate again and told him that these two men (Enrique & Richard) needed to be given a financial bonus (if possible) or a gift card as the deserved it and more! THANK YOU ENRIQUE & RICHARD FOR MAKING IT RIGHT, you guys ROCK! and for Corporate for stepping in!

I had bought a display model tuff shed at a *** *** recently and had problems receiving the product We had paid for it, but the company will not follow thru on deliveryThey miss promised dates they say they will deliver, no calls, no contactHave went into store times, called dozens, they will not deliverSo after talking with some of the *** *** staff, I found out they have sold this particular "TUFF SHED DISPLAY" numerous times and it never gets delivered, The one I bought turns out has been sold many timesI think they count on delaying people to defraud them of thier money.I am in the process of contacting the CFPB and possible local law enforcement, but will start with Revdex.com

Tuff Shed in O.CCAis very difficult to get what I wantI ordered a 8’ x 10’ Tuff Shed years ago and was very pleased with the service and what they built for meWith the new 2nd shed I recently ordered from the same O.Clocation has been a complete nightmare! I gave them the drawings/specs and pictures from the original one to build one reflecting the door and window locationThe new shed’s door and window location were both off by about inches, at least nails missed the wall studs, the house wrap was cut crooked and to close to ends of the walls, the angles of the trim were wrong (these issues were caused at the factory)The sub contractors came out to build it and they did not look or work in a professional mannerThey painted walls ( at first they wanted to paint them lying on the street without any plastic/drop cloths under them to keep the paint from getting on the street, they painted three walls and I stopped them due to the paint looked like a gray color when I ordered a white color, they installed the two wall vents upside down, they told me the ridge vent I paid an extra $for was a waste of money and does not vent at allAfter I made numerous calls to Tuff shed to put a stop order to the work I got to talk to the manager and he got very upset the sales man did not come out to measure the door and window locations on my first shedThe sales man came out within a week and took the measurementsThe following weekend two very professional subcontractors came outThey had the correct color paint with them, but the new door and window wall combined were off by approximately inches, so I had to put a stop work order to itThe following Monday Tuff Shed office lady called me first thing at 8:amI explained how bad the work from the factory was again, a waste of my time and hardship this has caused meShe was very sincere and said the assistant manager would call me today and I have not heard from anyone yet

After my shed was delivered, I experienced an unusual issue with my Municipality Tuff Shed delivered a smooth, perfectly executed solution and I am extremely pleased!
I highly recommend Tuff Shed in Milpitas for your shed ideas and plans!

I purchased a Tuff Shed in September Tuff put unnecessary (exposed) screws in the shed and never painted the shed as part of the package After no less than phone calls (and months later), someone came around to take out all the unnecessary screws Now being in late November, they said they can't paint because the temperature got too low I said fine, I'll wait until the spring months ago and another 15+ phones calls they finally scheduled a date, but nobody showed up After more phone calls and unanswered voice messages, they are simple unresponsive and I could not be more patient
This company will never honor a warranty as they can't even finish a simple job that you paid for after months and they're simply trying to exhaust you at all cost

I had a shed built......Very poor wood used in the build.....dents in the door....nothing support door frame, rocks when you stand on it.....Gaps in the roof can see light, coming in.....Floor off centered large gaps in the floor can see outside

I got my new Tuffshed on 7/31/ Overall, I was very pleased with the structure, and I immediately put it to good use
By spring of 2015, I noticed shingles slipping down on the south side of the shed I pushed them back into position, but just a few days later, I had a patch of about five shingles lying on the ground They had completely pulled off of the nails that were supposed to be holding them in place
I called the Tuffshed Warranty service, and after having them blow me off a couple times, they finally sent someone out to fix the shingles The fix? Slide the damaged shingles back on to the roof and throw a couple more nails in them The repairman they sent out told me that the installers had nailed straight through the shingles because they had their compressor set too high
Spring of 2016, more shingles were starting to slide down on the same side of my roof Knowing what kind of service I was going to get from Tuffshed, I just pushed the shingles back into place and put some more nails in
By the next spring (2017), the entire side of the roof had shingles slipping out of place I couldn’t move one shingle without another one sliding down I used some construction adhesive to try to keep the worst ones in place I had my insurance adjuster and roofer both take a look at the shed roof They both said the workmanship was faulty They blew nails straight through the shingles, and left a lot of nails exposed without caulking them They both suggested I call the warranty service again, since I have a couple more years left on it
So I called again They took my name and number and said someone would contact me That was three weeks ago, and I’ve heard NOTHING
To add insult to injury, the recorded message you hear when you’re on hold with the warranty service talks about how much pride they take in their 5-year warranty and how much they value customers It says they will repair or replace anything that is a result of faulty workmanship and blah blah blah… It’s pretty nauseating to listen to all of that from a company that is currently giving you the runaround

I purchased a shed from this company for $4,plu $for the inspection permit back in August of it took them about months to install itWhen the city came to do the inspection it failed, because it was not installed properly according to the city guidelines and it needed to be moved We contacted the company numerous times to attempt to resolve the issue with the cityThe guy in charged (Jim) of the installation was rude and always had an excuse to delay fixing the problemI had to call almost every day and had to leave messages and he would take days to return my callWe had lots of stuff that we needed to put in the shed and because it was taking them a long time to move the shed we decided to occupy itAfter we did this, this guy made us take everything out so that he could move or fix the shedWe did, it still took him year to finally come to fix itNot only we had to deal with thisThe roof of the shed had a leak and we also had to fix this ourselves to avoid more damageThis is the worst experience I've ever hadI paid a lot for something that I was not able to use for yrs and had a horrible customer serviceI would NEVER recommend buying from them!

On May 24th I purchased a shed from Tuff Shed (through *** ***) for $8,They began the installation on June 25th and finished most of the shed in a few daysThe attic feature and pegboard for hanging tools were never finishedThe materials were laid inside the shed when the installation crew left with no indication as to why they did not finishWe have been in touch with the company (both local and corporate offices) multiple time since June and they continue to say they will have someone come out and finish the shed, yet the day they schedule passes by with no one showing upIt has been a month now and I am still unable to fully use an $8,building that I purchased because I have to wait for Tuff Shed to finish the installationOur last communication with them was Wednesday July by email when they indicated they would have the situation resolved by the end of the weekNo one showed up, and we have had no response since to our attempts to communicate with them

I purchased my 8xpainted Tuff Shed on 10/6/for $ It was delivered on 10/17/ I was not told the individuals delivering or assembling the shed were not employees of Tuff Shed I was also not told there would be $delivery fee on any of the trips I made to the store The driver of the delivery truck attempted to back into my brand new blacktop driveway (purchased 8/21/for $1700.00) and left a 18"x 5" white scrapped mark He did not inform me what he had done The individual helping me oversee the project informed me of the damage When I called my salesman to inform him of the damage, that is when I was told the delivery driver was a contractor and he would be responsible for any damage

I am attempting to put in a building in my back yard and chose Tuff shedWhen I talked the the sales person we filled out a plan showing my specificationsWhen the plan was complete the sales person asked me to sign at the bottomI asked for a copy of the plan and he became very loud, defiant, and disrespectful, he refused to give me a copy This sent out red flags to me There were delays with the official plans and he never updated me on any process or lack thereof, absolutely no communicationI spoke with the manager (newly replaced why is another story), and I told him how his sales person acted to me and about not giving me a copy of planThe manager said that "Well he said he never asked you to sign anything and there is nothing in your file", its more of a "he said she said" scenarioI asked him to take over all aspects of the sale to which he contacted me about the plans going from being two weeks away to "they are here"within hoursI asked him to follow up on why the plans were delayed several time to which he has never responded to as recent as a week agoI would email him and then be called by the sales rep who I was having difficulties with and should of not been in any part of this transaction as I asked of the manager beforeNow the manager is asking for a third of the paymentHe was wanting me to proceed despite satisfying or ignoring my questions or requestsSo I am just supposed to invest in a 30,building project despite everything telling me its a very bad idea? Buying a building should be a happy stress and not a bad stressThis local facility needs a complete turnover

We purchased a *** *** custom shed 12/31/Customer service and customer promise were great and even though we were spending top dollar on our barn we thought with the warranty and customer service Guarantee we were making the right choiceWe were 100% wrongTuff shed has proven to have the WORST customer service and NO Guarantee on their product
The day the barn was installed I was here to let the Tuff shed workers ( which we found out were later just sub-contracted for the job) in and give them a location however due to personal family matters I was unable to be here when the job was completeI never signed off and since the Barn was paid in full they did not need to collect final payment (HUGE MISTAKE) So when I got home and took a look at the Barn I first noticed it was crooked, then I noticed the paint job was sloppy and had dripped and was tacky and painted over while still wetThere were nails and trash left behind EVERYWHERE

I ordered a Tuff Shed 10xshed for my side yard in mid June When installed during the beginning of July, the installer did not install the inch concrete blocks that were ordered and paid for before delivery Instead, the shed was placed on wood blocks that were on the ground When I brought this up to the installers, they told me that their boss, Jesse would contact me the next day I had to phone Jesse at Tuff Shed the following afternoon He told me that he could refund me the money for the concrete blocks I told Jesse that was unacceptable, and that I wanted the concrete blocks installed as ordered Two weeks later, concrete blocks were placed around the outside of the shed stacked high with zero support in the middle I then contacted the seller, Odie, and he said that it would be fixed On the 24th of July, the 2nd attempt at fixing the install was tried this time the double layer of blocks remain and only one block down the center of the shed I have

Very dissatisfied with the purchase process specifically in the sight survey and scheduling installationAfter payment in full I had to call several times to request for sight survey after a few days I was able to have a Rep come survey location after I was told they would submit property permit through the city I received the permit the next day then had to wait two days til I finally called the Rep back to try and figure out what the next step was I was told then I would receive a call to schedule installation again after two day I called the Rep back and was told "I past the baton" but he would call the scheduling office and get back to meWhen he called back I was told "a Rep called and left a message on my phone" he then said someone would be calling in a few hoursAt that point I canceled my order through Home DepotI received a call from Tuff Shed a few hours later to schedule for deliveryI explained the situation and that I canceled the order and was told it was Corporate that held the order for almost a week before they released it to the local contractor I give the company 2stars for the lack of customer service

We purchased a tuff shed on 7/2/through *** *** Tough Shed gave us a date of 7/30/to build the shed Their phone number is 502-671- They understand that our shed permit expires on 8/29/ They called or days before to cancel (we were not given a reason why except things happen) They rescheduled us for 8/9/ They did not show up I left the company several VM's (it is not an option to hold on) and my calls were not returned At 4:that afternoon Ashleigh from tough shed call and asked it the installers had showed up and I told her no I asked her for a manager as I had already lost two days of work because of this She connected me to Dave the GM Dave told me that the installers did not show up for work and they had hired new installers who were in training next week He offered a discount and rescheduled us for 8/27/ Dave told me "no matter what " our shed would be installed that day even if we have to "bump" someone so I took off work again on

Tuff Shed went months with my she'd completely paid for without even getting my permit pulled(which I paid for)Every person from salesman to home office is a jokeNo return phone calls, lies, deceit, and down right pathetic all the way aroundHorrible business manners and customer serviceDo not use them!!!!!

I have been trying to reach out to tuff shed in my area , they came out and put up a building wrong we were told times they would be out to fix it and they were suppose to show up today and nothing I called and just asked for a refund and was told a manager would call me back by noon and pm still nothing back no word or anything for full weeks
would have liked it fixed but times they change the date and terrible workmanship also so now would like a refund

Due to several delays for installation I was supposed to be issued at $credit The check was to sent to me on December I have made many phone calls and I am always told check will sent and that the General Manager will call me backI have never once talked to the General Manage or have I yet received the $as promised

I contracted Tuff Shed to build a x stick built garageFor a three day Build Has now taken over 1/weeksThe quality of The wood they are using is a very poor quality I’ve had to have them take boards out and the boards That couldn’t get taken out, they put a Band-Aid over them by putting another board on top of it i.eif the board had a crack or not really up to specifications, they put another x on top of itThis will make it hard to insulate the garage since it’s no longer on centerThe craftsmanship of my premier garage...isn’t premier
