I made my initial complaint with the builders at Tuff Shed , NW 19th St., Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33311,( 2452) I sent them pictures of a rain leak apparently coming from the roof of my shedThis was my first complaint made on 5/17/Thereafter, I made several complaints with them, They finally referred me to their Warranty department at I called the warranty department throughout the day on 6/and 6.26/I left a message for a call back because I never could get anyone on the phoneI never received a call back and I have not received any assurances of resolution to my problem form anyone at Tuff Shed
I was contacted by them after looking at a shed at Home Depot I told them what I wanted They said okThey were to get back with me After several weeks the sales manager called me back called Did you get taken care of I said no He said he would look into it Nothing happenedI called him several times He never called me back Again several weeks went by when he finally called me back I'll have our production manager call you Never heard from them again I gave up trying to deal with these people If they didn't want to build the shed I wanted why didn't they tell me Don't waste your time with tuff shed They simply don't give a dam
We like the shed, but the it is going to take up to eight months to get our final coat of paint They came out on time and built a nice shed They said they had to wait to put on the second coat because of the ash fall from fires in the area Several weeks lated, when they never showed up to put on the second coat, I called and they said it will be eight months out (they are backed up) It was hard to believe We paid for the shed in full, but will need to now wait eight months for them to complete it This is so disappointing as we like to buy local, but we would never have expected this I would give stars for the shed construction, and one star for the service

So my project started in October A x x garageIssues from the startAs I had to put brick on the exterior foot tall poured the concrete slab the brick ledge with studs to hold down the bottom plate in accordance with city of Garland building codeGuys came out to measure to build a wall’s to account for the bottom plate studs The prefab the walls at the warehouse brought the materials to build the garageAnd the studs didn’t line up to the studs to bowl down the bottom plateThe crew started cutting the bolts off and started drilling crappy little bolts to hold the bottom platesI told them to stopAnd not the cut one more boltThey cut a total of three bolts and putting crappy little bolts from Home DepotI have two Outswing exterior doors .That they installed wrong once, twice , three times ...Both doors leak.I’ve had several different people from Tuff shed come out and look at sad leaks Of the doorsThey have sprayed water on them and I was told the gaskets are leaking so they proceeded three times to put caulking around the doorswell they still leakI was told several times by several different people they will get this issue fixedThe last person that came out told me that the decorative brick trim to put on the threshold is causing this to weekPlay told me this is my fault and not their issues This is coming from the people that bought the doors from who have not even seen the projects and or tested for water intrusionI have asked them for a letter on tough shed letterhead or the door manufacturers letterhead for response to why this is not coveredI have yet to get a response back .I have had issue after issue with this company trying to get a response back to texts and phone calls and have not had any response back that I didn’t have to call three or four times to get a responseI would not recommend this company
The Louisville office sent me a defective shedThree of the four sides have large chunks out of themThe team from the local tuff shed left a shed % built last Wednesday June 27th @ PM never to returnThere is a sales person at the Louisville office that is one of the only ones that help me at that branchHowever, since he is in sales, he sez its out of his handsHe and another women told me the building crew would come to work again on my shed the 4th of JulyWe waited here til noon the 4th..ZEROI sent Dave S*** the area manager a long email last weekend hoping to hear back from himZERO!! #the shed is damaged and the builders said I would have to live with it and they would try and make it look 1/way decent#no lock or handle on the door so it swings wild in the wind almost tearing it off the hinges.#I paid for a tear out of my old shed and there are still lots of parts on my lawn from that, but even though I pasd for a tear out they dont want to remove#
I contracted with Les *** of Tuff Shed, with a $5,down-payment, to build me a detached garage at my residence in November, Finally got the foundation poured by a very good concrete team who ensured that their quality of work was excellent Then nothing happened Les disappeared and refused to answer all phone calls Finally, a new manager answered and came to review our case in February, They agreed to look into it, and also disappeared Appealed to the Customer Care Department of the Corporation who agreed to "look into it." Came back with the contract had an incorrect date of shipping/building Then Regional Manager came back with there "was some issues with mental illness." Today, February, the Corporate Customer Care Team came back with they just can't build what we contracted to for that cost We are now seeking a refund of our downpayment Pending we actually get it, I will stay FAR away from this "brand name." Buyers beware!

I was advised that the service price included carrying supplies feet and if beyond that they would charge Measuring from the truck to the front of where the shed was being built was Apparently they measure to the back When I called mgmt they agreed to have him measure to the middle of the shed base, which ended up being feet They wanted me to pay $more for feet I thought this was ridiculous being the front of the shed base was under the feetI told the contractor that and he told me I should read my paperwork that I sign (I never signed anything till the job was done!)and that he could just drop the shed supplies in my driveway What does that solve? I had to debate with the mgr on the phone until he finally did agree to not charge me the $ I thought all was well until I went to look at the final project and sign the paperwork The same contractor brought it up again and said how I was "making such a big deal about it" and asked if I was a chur
