I contracted with the Escondido Tuff Shed location in San Diego California to build me a 12'x16' Pro Style Shed This shed was installed on April 3rd and 4th but not without problems The paint colors are reversed The base or siding color is supposed to be Tundra Frost and the Trim is supposed to be Solitary State which is a light grey color, but it was painted opposite
This shed was just completed this morning on 4-4-and I'm already having problems with this company I tried calling their corporate offices in Colorado but the phone system does not work according to the instructions
I met with Jaime T*** no my house this morning to go over my concerns He schooses to hold me to a signature where the color scheme was change over the phone Secondly, the entry door is not in the proper location and will interfere with my shelving plans Third, the side window is not in the proper location either It appears that Tuff Shed reprsentives take their measuring from the ou

Tuff Shed had billed the remaining balance on my two sheds without my consent They were to provide me with a final bill for review and approval which they failed to do I have a list of outstanding issues that needed to be addressed before I would agree to approve final payment and *** ***, our sale person, was aware of this I have documented my phone call attempts and emails that I have sent with no response from Tuff Shed The *** *** sales and management personnel have not bothered to contact meEven after escalating my issue to *** *** at Tuff Shed headquarters via phone and email correspondence over the past weeks, I still have not gotten one call back regarding the matter I had provided Tuff Shed at the local and headquarters level documentation complete with photos of all my issues, but again have been ignored I have since contacted *** *** to contest the payment to Tuff Shed
My outstanding issues remain the following:
- Window openings are s

I spent more than two weeks working with a representative to get the building design I needed
We finalized that last week on about June 6/21/and as a result I went to apply for my building
permit on 6/23/using that informationI received my permit via US mail on 6/28/and I contacted
Tuff Shed to set up a time for the delivery and erection of my new shedWhen I contacted Tuff Shed I was
sent the final info to set up an erection date, I again stressed that I needed a foot in the clear door opening
I was informed that the door opening would not be foot but would be 6'-8"I spent over two weeks working
with a repto work out this detail and upgraded the shed several times now I am told the opening that I was
suppose to get will in fact not be thereI informed Tuff Shed this was not what I agreed to their response was
another upgrade adding another $1,the price

My month old shed's large doors do not open I have called times and no one answers the phone I have left messages to please set up an appointment to fix the problem Have not received any response I did have problems during the construction and figure this is their way of paying me back Very unprofessional I will not recommend their buildings to anyone The building has a warranty and I would like them to honor it It is very sad that this company can treat older customers (69) with such disregard
Thank you for your time

Be careful if you wish to order a metal roof for your Garage/Shed!!! We ordered a x one car garage that has taken months to complete However, we noticed almost immediately that the metal roof they installed had zero overhang That meant that, despite a small lip on the edge flashing, and without a gutter, water was immediately dripping directly onto the fascia boards We were never asked if we wanted an overhang, yet when asked why this installation had zero overhang, their response was an amazing "That's how we've always done them." FYI: without exception, every installation manual from every supplier/manufacturer that we found on the web RECOMMENDS at least some overhang for the reason mentioned above Do not allow them to do this disservice to you To their credit, they've retro-fitted using my recommended solution: a one foot panel slipped under the bottom of the metal panel that provides a 2" overhang and uses the original screw holes at the bottom of the metal panels Now the water runs off the roof just fine What were they thinking?

I purchased a shed from Tuff Shed in *** ** and paid in full at the time of purchaseI waited over two months for the shed to be installed
Finally, the day arrived for the shed to be installed and the installers failed to complete the installationThey simply laid the door in the doorway without actually installing itI had to call several times and never could get through to customer serviceI ended up working through the sales rep to get the crew back out to finish installation
They screwed a door that weighed over 100ibs on with flimsy screws and called it doneA month later, the door fell off the shed
I called customer service three times and never got a call backI hired a contractor to put the door back on
Two months pass and I get a collection notice from Tuff Shed for a balance I was not aware of nor agreed to ever payI paid for the shed and installation all at once, up front
Typical to Tuff Shed, they have not been responsive to messages

my wife purchased a shed weeks ago for $dollarsThe contractor Tuff Shed send out today or this morning found every possible excuse to get out of building the shed, that when he and his helper finally didThey left all the shed's parts ( walls, truces, beams) scattered all over our back yard and told my wife they were leavingAnd left without completing the jobI work in an industry where the demand is 100% accuracy no less, because the industry is run by attorneys, doctors, engineers, designers and they expect no lessWhat the contractor did is unacceptable and would require the termination of his or his company's future servicesWhen my wife went to their Anaheim office they told her there was nothing they could do this weekend, that Tuff Shed would send someone to our address Monday April 18, to complete the shedThis will the first and only time I will purchase a shed from Tuff Shed

We contacted Tuff Shed about building a detached 24xgarage Lance was onsite the next day to inspect the layout and give us a quoteSure, the process was slow, but that just the way construction works...with permitting and scheduling etc; especially with a building of this size on a concrete slab I have nothing but positive things to say about Tuff Shed and thier Sub Greg Quality people doing quality work!! What else could you want....The garage is finished and looks great!! We will enjoy it for many years to come

I had scheduled to have a shed built/delivered to my house on 6/11/The appointment was made weeks prior to thatI was told that they would be there between 9-11am and to expect a call prior to let me know they were on their way1245pm rolls around and I still had not heard from anyone so I called the office and spoke with "*"She said she would get ahold of the delivery guys and either she or them would call me backAbout minutes later I get a call from the "foreman" who proceeds to tell me he has "family in town and I will not be able to do your shed today but will be out tomorrowCustomer service game me the contact information for a person scheduled for Monday." At this point I had to call my work and try to find someone to work for me since I live alone and someone had to be there to show them where to put the shedThis was a HUGE inconvenience as they didn't even give me an optionIt was also very unprofessional to change the installation date because someone has fa

I had Tuff Shed build me a shed that was built on my property in August A follappointment with the *** city inspector was required by the city to ensure the structure passed the city codesThe city requires that the Shed have metal anchors that burrow into the ground with cement added to secure the anchorsThe cement cannot be added until a city inspector passes the shed/structureAs such, I have two holes about feet deep waiting for cement to be poured and a final inspection to occur A follappointment never occurred nor has Tuff Shed called me back
In an attempt to resolve this matter I called the Tuff Shed office (*** *** *** *** *** ** ***) timesEach time I called I got a receptionist or a co-worker who told me that *** *** would call me backAt no time have I ever received a call back from *** *** or anyone from Tuff Shed at *** ***I left messages with my name and number and what was outstanding (final inspectio

I designed and ordered a shed from tuffshed Milwaukee through Craig K***I wanted to leave a deposit when I ordered and the balance to be paid upon completionHe told me it was there policy for smaller building to pay in full when orderingSo I did
When the shed was delivered, they didn't have all the components to complete the shed and said they would be back next week and finish itIt has been three weeks and it is still not finishedAnd I have not heard back from anyone at tuffshed in days after they told me they would have it finished by yesterday

He told me to reach out to Scott and gave me his contact infoOctober 17th, 2017: Email sent to Scott with an auto response: 'I am currently out of the office from July at 4PM until 8AM July 19, 2017'After Scott returned to the office and followed up on our permit, apparently no Tuff Shed employee actually submitted our application to the city of Denver Now Tuff Shed would submit our permit to the city of Denver, and we would need to wait weeksTo ensure we get scheduled quickly, they scheduled the structure to be delivered January 9thJanuary 5th, 2018: Our organization received a call from Tuff Shed with 'good news'Tuff Shed claimed they have a permit and they can now schedule us for deliveryThe first date that was available was January 29th Our organization stated that they were already scheduled for the 9thKatie M*** was informed that Tuff Shed does not schedule deliveries until Tuff Shed has received the permitA Tuff Shed employee came out to do a site visit, April 25th, 2017, at Our organization to confirm the structure would work in the space provided by Our organizationAt this visit, the Tuff Shed Representative, Carl L***, said Our organization DOES NOT need a cement slab for our locationThis person, Carl, no longer works at Tuff ShedOn January 5th, Our organization has been informed that they need a cement slab and they could not schedule a date until it was poured(On October 17th, it was already scheduled for January 9th)
At the end of October, Katie M*** asked for someone from Tuff Shed to come out to see if Our organization needed a permit, cement slab and to overall ensure everyone is on the same page given Carl and Whitney who was previously working with us are no longer working at Tuff Shed No employees were ever scheduled to visitFebruary 2018: Tuff Shed informs Our organization that, because we are going to heat and cool the space we need vapor barriers ($360.00) and that we also have to pay for installation of a floor ($1,152.00)February 27, 2018: Payment for additional charges for floor & vapor barriers & other fees is made by Visa Debit card in the amount of $1,This invoice shows a new requested delivery date of 3/15/(A copy of this ‘final’ invoice is attached to the end of this document.)
March 14, 2018: Called to confirm delivery on March 15thTuff Shed stated they would deliver 8-10am
March 15, 2018: Scheduled delivery for Tuff Shed to Our organization At 10:30am our organization called and Tuff Shed stated their contractor was running behind schedule and he would be there at NoonOur organization called Tuff Shed again at 1pm after no delivery and Tuff Shed said they would arrive at 3pmAt 3:30pm, Tuff Shed’s contractor was in routeWhen the contractor showed up he didn’t have our Tuff Shed with him, he was unable to construct and he’d be back in the morning of March 16th for deliveryMarch 16, 2018: Actual delivery without a construction/building permit and now our organization is in violationTuff Shed built the structure on our property without the building permit from the City of DenverOur organization verified Tuff Shed would get the permit for an additional feeTuff Shed never asked for the Construction/building permit from our organization eitherIn addition, Tuff Shed constructed the unit in too close a proximity to our main building and it needs to have fire safe walls in order to be up to codeOur organization will now need to deconstruct the tuff shed to correct these issuesOur organization cannot complete any construction changes until we get the permit which still hasn’t been sanctionedTuff Shed did, at additional cost that we paid to them, apply for a zoning permit for a ‘Detached Accessory Structure’That zoning permit was approvedHowever, in the application they identified the use as “Storage Shed” even though this particular shed is designed to be an office (see ad from Tuff Shed website below) and we had, from the beginning, explained that this building would be cooled/heated and used as an office for the directorThe use on the zoning permit should have been identified as identical to the zoned use of the main building - “Arts, Recreation & Entertainment Services-Indoor”It is unclear whether this will cause problems for Our organizationTuff Shed build it on our property without a construction permit and now we are in violationTUFF SHED built it on our property without the proper permit which we verified they would be getting for an additional feeEven if they thought we were getting the permit, they never asked for itNot only that...They build it in such close proximity to our main building (which is fine, but we would have been open to moving it further away)Since it is so close it needs to have firesafe walls in order to be up to codeBut we can't do that until we get the construction permit, that tuff shed never got This was also supposed to be build on a foundation and with 2x6's, but it was not built on a foundation and build with 2x4s insteadNow on November 13, (keep in mind this was paid for in FULL in May 2017...yes 2017) we have the proper permits, but still are not being able to pass inspection yetThe engineers from Tuff Shed have written letters and approved that it is ok to not be on a foundation and to be built with 2x4s insteadWe are a small nonprofit and need this as an office space and we depend on the other space our building office has for revenue My organization is very supportive of me running the organization while I am also a mother to my one year old who comes to work with meThis office is supposed to be for my daughter and I which would be constructed to be a safe space for my child I was not even pregnant when we purchased this to be my officeThe lack of service, responsibility and legality from tuff shed has been extremely disappointing

Issues after issuesMy wife and I ordered a shedWas offered a moisture guard for and added we agreed, paid the priceWas called a few days before the intall and was told that the moisture guard was forgotten and they should install it on site We agreedThey got there and told us there was not a work order for the moisture guard and to call to get someone out to install itwe did we were made to feel it was our fault that they forgot to add the item we requestedThey refunded the Now my wife and I feel let down that the product that we ordered and paid nearly 2k for was incomplete and we felt that we made a poor choice

I had salesman Leroy from Ft Myers, Fl He came to my home and we finalized an order 6/29/ I provided him with a survey for the shed building permit and paid in full for the shed..just shy of $ He told me 2-weeks shed would be installed To date I had heard nothing Today I called the ###-###-#### Ft Lauderdale officeAfter providing my name, I was placed on extended silent holds times and then hung up on Finally, Stacey told me that salesmen Leroy no longer worked for the company and she was glad I called so they had my contact number for the new salesman, david r*** could call me (he was conveniently out of the office) Ah...why do I need a salesman, my contract was written up, my check payment in full, cashed shortly afterwards Stacey asked if I had provided a survey to Leroy and had he come to my home at all Now I have a sick feeling about the whole thing She tells me she and another girl have had to try to figure out whats going on in Fort Myers and that she would pass along a message for David to call me My comfort level about this endeavor is now close to zero I asked for a contact number for David and was told the warehouse number was it I indicated that I worked at a call center , so David should call me and leave a detailed message with a callback number tomorrow My expectation that I will hear from David tomorrow...zero I will give it a day and perhaps I will need to get the news troubleshooter involved

After cancelled appointments via Representative, cancelled and rescheduled delivery dates and another week after “installation”, I’ve still not had the contract fulfilled by Tuff ShedI’m missing windows, shelving, peg board and a 4th anchor, paint job is sloppy and rushedI’ve been contacted via social media and obliged to their request to contact but no word back and voicemails for a return call go unanswered

The shed was completed at the end of August I was told someone from Tuff shed will contact me to anchor down the shed to the concrete padI waited about a week but nobody from Tuff shed contacted meI called *** *** (salesman) who then directed me to *** *** (warranty)I called *** *** about everyday for two weeksShe never picked up the phone to return my calls or messages for two weeksI then got a hold of her via telephone and of course she apologized and made excusesShe said someone will stop by my house on October 10thI emailed to confirm the date but she never bother to reply to my emailI called her but she said she is working on itI waited and nobody showed up at my houseI then called her several times and emailing her several but all she said was she is working on itIt is October 15th and I still haven't heard from herI will write to the *** *** to request for their assistance if Revdex.com is not able to resolve my issue with Tuff Shed

They damaged my home while bringing material to my back yard

Purchased a 24xDeluxe Garage for $15,from Tuff Shed Through the local *** *** located in Cedar Rapids IowaThe garage was installed on June In May ofI noticed several issues with the Garage and requested they be repaired as follows; A problem with one window which would fall from the track,an entrance door which was leaking when it rained and roof shingles curling and becoming loose and slipping out of placeA tuff shed mechanic came to repair the above problems as the garage was still under year warrantyThe mechanic found the window problem was caused by the original work crew installing the window upside down causing it to fall from the trackThe window casing was removed and the window was reinstalled properly, this fixed that problemThe problem with the door leak was incorrectly identified as a door weather strip problem and to fix the leaking the mechanic moved the weather strip down the trackThis did not fix the problem as the bottom of the door

We bought and paid for a 10xshed at *** *** Jackson, MIwithin a week someone from Tuff Shed called us to verify the delivery date and setup date which was Monday Dec11th pushed way ahead from November 22nd as promisedNow they called again today and said they cant come out until Friday December 15th and I told him to *** *** and hung up on himI already asked for a cancellation and George said at Tuff Shed they have our shed built already and we cannot cancel it nowI am telling you someone better cancel this order or the next call I make is coming from my attorneyBECAUSE *** *** did NOT keep there end of the saleI havent recieved my shed yet and I will not wait another *** day! This is ridiculous!

On 7/11/I paid $out of my *** ** *** Credit card to Tuff Sheds as I was going to have a garage built No plans were made and I
decided to sell my residence so I stopped by on July 25th and spoke to a Representative about cancelling the garage and returning my $He took down my Bank card numbers and assured me it would be returned Since that time I have spoke to two Representatives (I have their names) and they took down the Bank card information and assured me that the money would be put into my account The most recent contact was on August 25, at which time my neighbor *** called them as he witnessed my down payment on 7/11/2017-then I received a call -Bank card numbers were repeated and the agent again assured me that the money would be returned to my account and as of today 9/2/it has not been returned I am years of age and I feel that I need outside assistance to resolve this matter Thank You
