I just believe that others may not be answering the call they get from them since it does not say Great American ReaderI know for a fact that a couple years ago I ignored that call ,but since I knew what the number really was now I answered

The phone salesman told me that I could trying these subscriptions, and then always call back and cancel at any time But when I called back in they just got rude with me and refused to cancel I just called back in today and tried again, talking to a Supervisor named Randie - she said "you pay your entire bill off, and then we will turn off the incoming magazines!" I am an disabled vet, and I do not have the money to pay them over $for something I can see the I don't need These people lie and they are rude!

Company/Business sent my account to Collections, even after I tried to cancel the service (tried calling, then used a third-party cancellation service)Phone number was not accurate and after trying through the other service, company refused to cancel service I have seen from others that this company is scamming people and unwilling to work with customersI do not want this company's service at all, especially as it could (if not already has) ruined my credit

I have never been treated so rudely by a company before Customer service means nothing I called to cancel and was given the third degree I do not answer to the "manager" on duty He could not accept that I wanted to cancel I gave him my reason and he didn't want to accept it He continued to question me I called at 3:PM on 2-20-

I began what I thought was a month by month subscription to a magazine service for magazines in a monthMuch to my surprise I attempted to cancel after a couple months and was told I signed a contract, and that there was no way for me to discontinue the service
I canceled the card I had signed up with, yet the magazines and bills still came, even after I contacted the company and demanded cancellation
Today I received a notice that my account had been "turned over to a collections office"
I do not even want this service and have attempted cancellation, and now I am apparently on the hook for almost $I feel duped and harrassed, and I certainly never agreed to a contract

I ordered magazines back in October I received magazines in September and a few days ago Everytime I called to complain and try to cancel I was told I could not cancel due to a contract I agreed to My account is paid in full and since then they are very rude and ignorant when I call to discuss that I am not receiving any of my magazines or the $gift card they promised I made another call today and was told that "This is the first we are hearing of this", which is totally a lie They even called me earlier trying to sell me extended subscriptions Today I was told they will put me on the do not call list so they don't have to deal with me anymore I feel like I have been scammed with no where else to turn I am going to call the credit card company to see if they can reverse the $that was charged to my card for services that I have not been receiving This has been a terrible experience and I have never been treated so badly from a company that had no pr

I received a call telling me that I get a $gift certificateThen someone else got on phone and said all I had to do was purchase magazines for about $ I then checked on the company and realized that they are a magazine company and were using the gift certificate to sidetrack meI did not receive any gift certificate nor did I recieve magazinesI tried to cancel and I was told I can't cancel and I owe almost $ I DO NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AND I TRIED TO CANCEL WITHIN THE FIRST WEEK AND THEY ACTUALLY TOLD ME I CAN'T CANCEL!

I CALLED BACK AND CANCELLED MY ORDER WITHIN MINUTES OF DOING IT.A MAN ANSWERED AND KNEW WHO I WAS BY PHONE AND NAME ,HE SAID NO PROBLEM THEY WOULD CANCEL,ITS BEEN OVER A WEEK THEY TOOK MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT ANYWAY AND IT HAS NOT BEEN REFUNDED.I NEED TO KNOW CAN I CONTACT BANK NOT TO LET THEM TAKE ANY MORE MONEY OUT OF ACCOUNT FOR THIS COMPANY?AND HOW CAN I GET OTHER MONEY BACK AND CANCELTHIS FOR GOOD

I am in the process of contacting a lawyer because of GAR! This company is a complete scam and they are a bunch of liars! I was told I would be paying $for months...Not Freaking 20!!! That was why I agreed to the stupid terms...because they completely mislead me!!!! The guy at first was friendly and a smooth talker but don't fall for it! When I returned their call, I was met with a very rude and unprofessional person named Matt! He tried to belittle me and threaten me! The only reason I'm contacting a lawyer is to see if I am able to cancel this bogus subscription because I'm going to an undisclosed location and will not benefit me in the futureNow maybe if they didn't lie and treat me like poo, I would have considered keeping the damn thing!!!!

I was told I would receive a dollar gift card after I ordered my magazines which I never receivedI also received the form to cancel within days a week after the day period had expired, not to mention I didnt even know this form existedThe magazines have not all come only a few of themI canceled my card once I found they wanted to charge dollars to me or send it to collectionI never signed any contract or agreed to a any binding contract over the phoneI should be able to cancel a magazine subscription whenever I want and not receive any more magazinesI feel as though I was scammed and misinformed

My husband signed up for magazines and was told he was able to cancel He got a paper in the mail to get the $gift card pack, but he never filled it out and sent it back in because it says, "I, ________________________________ hereby authorize the release of a gift card pack that I'm entitled to receive for participating in the magazine offer Please send it to me immediately My agreement has the information listed correctly, I agree to the terms and conditions of this agreement, and I am satisfied with the manner it was sold." My husband wanted to cancel the subscription, so he never signed this document Some time went by and when we called to cancel, they refused They said we missed the deadline and was stuck in this contract for years I said we do not want the magazines She said she cannot cancel the contract, even though my husband never gave them written permission to take money out of our credit card every month or did he ever sign a contract
