The individual I spoke to at H & R Block denied that he had received any phone calls from my husbandHe also stated that he never received the documents we submitted to the H & R Block employee we were working withI sent those documents, again, to the individual via email and he confirmed that he received themHe informed me it would take 2-weeks but clearly expedited the check; I received it via Federal Express this morning

Ms***: I do not agree with H&R Block’s decision. I do not think that because I did not pay for their product that they have the right to make mistakes on my taxes. Giving me back my fee for processing my taxes is all well and good, but do they expect me to use that money to pay off my taxes owed due to their mistake? Dear Revdex.com,In resolution to this matter our records reflect that Mr***'s self prepared Married Filing Joint tax return was e-filed and accepted by the IRS on 1/28/2015.We refute Mr***'s statement that our online program had a glitch as there were no known system
failures relating to this matter at that time Records further reflect that the online account was accessed by the client on 4/28/who attempted to prepare an amended return changing the filing status to Married Filing SeparateAs such, when Mr*** contacted our call center the agent was able to confirm the Married Filing Separate status and advised him according. I am rejecting this response because: While I did receive the $back that I paid for the faulty HR Block CD-ROM, there was no effort to resolve the problem that so many of us had with itWe were told on the CD-ROM that it could not deal with Marketplace medical insurance issues and advised us to go to an HR Block tax preparer officeI expected when I went there that they would say that they were referring their customers to an office as a remedy for their embarrassingly faulty CD-ROM tax preparation softwareI did not expect to pay $(roughly) for a tax return that normally costs $70! On the phone with the HR Block software personnel, they did state that they had that problem with thousands of CD-ROMs. I think a class action law suit might be in order to deal with this dilemmaThere was nothing offered by the local office to remedy this situationI was requesting a refund of the approximately $They offered to take $off my next year's tax return!!! That's the last place I would go to complete a tax return!!! Even in the office, it was done incorrectly the first time and I had to return after receiving a letter from the IRS. It's their only business and they couldn't get the tax return done correctly either with the CD-ROM or even in the office! There should be a remedy rather just a refund for $for the faulty CD-ROMIt does not address the issue that all these customers who were referred to the office lost all that extra money getting their returns done thereThe CD-ROM should have been able to handle Obamacare medical insuranceThat was a major mess up!!! Owners of stock in this company (HR Block) should think about the value of that investment when the company cannot complete it's primary objective! The software personnel have not been accountable for their mess upAnd the tax preparer office where my complaint was directed simply says it was not responsible so essentially you have one half of HR Block saying they are not accountable for what the other half does and vice-versa! No accountability at all for the firm of HR Block!

not sent to Federal or State on behalf of clients, as it is not needed except in cases of filing an amended returnThe return in question was an original filing. The Office M***ger, *** ** ***, contacted Mr*** *** to explain that he did not have a W-for us to send in and that the State return was filed electronicallyAs Mr*** *** insisted that Ms** *** contact the State on his behalf, she informed Mr*** *** that in order to contact the state, she needed him to be present in the office and that she was willing to set an appointment for him to come inMr*** *** declined the offer.
