I am rejecting this response because:The amended taxes from *** state I received that no one would answer after dropping letter off the 2nd time as *** *** originally told me ** hadn't received the 1099r yet so just disregard itWhen it came the 2nd time I owed.more dueto interest and late feesI kept trying to get an answer from the branch office but was referred to legal, whom I was refused the number** Dept of Revenue advised the additional taxes owed was because my preparer had placed the pension funds withdrawn on the wrong line, the ones for social security, military pensions, and private pensions for people over 65.It's funny on they're complaints on your site this is their usual response in matters like mine. Dear Revdex.com,In response to this complaint, our records reflect that our District General Manager, *** ***, has engaged in conversations directly with Mrs***, explaining that H&R Block is not responsible for tax returns that are completed outside of H&R...In regards to the return that H&R Block prepared incorrectly, H&R Block has completed our due diligence to the ***'s per the Peace of Mind Extended Warranty by reimbursing for the additional tax liability as a result of our mistake as well as the interest amount mentioned in the complaintThe tax liability check was issues in and the interest check in the amount of $was issued on February 10, Although the and returns were not affected with additional tax liability due, we have issued refunds for the fees paid to prepare the 2012, 2013, and returns in the amount of $2,as a good-faith gesture
Regards,

H&R Block Tax Pro *** *** still has my other Wform which still has to be Filed and Amended and need to be sent to IRSIn order for it to be process by IRS I need to go to the Branch of H&R Block and pick up the documents to be sent to IRS, unfortunately for some reason I am a bit afraid to go to that location because of how we have been personally treatedRegardless I will still try to visit the location to pick the paperworks this Friday.Another question I have, which I feel that have not been truthfully answered is that why is it I was quoted $on my tax yet on my H&R Block account says $8015.00?

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: I was told by each H&R Block employees on several contacts that funds CAN be transferred FROM the emerald card to my personal checking accountBefore opting for the card after the taxpayer completed my taxes she conferred and confirmed with the office manager that it COULD be done When my refund posted to that card I called emerald card's customer service to yet reconfirm again that this process can occur and again I was told it was and even received instructions! Their lack of training, communication, and filtering changes of policies, procedures, and updates; excuse me the filtering of CORRECT information is not the fault of the consumer, therefore the consumer should not be penalized for their lack of communication and follow through

I am rejecting this response because: it is unacceptableH&R Block says they know they made a mistake and believe they have sufficiently reimbursed meThis is not trueHow is $a fair reimbursement when I received a bill for over $1000? I was also told repeatedly for three months that a manager will call me and still to this date no one has called meIf you admit that you have made a mistake I believe that you should reimburse that moneyThe interest is not sufficient eitherThis has dragged on for three yearsAnd we paid you for your services which were not handled correctly whatsoeverI request again that our reimbursement includes what we had to pay due to your mistakeWe had to pay all of this money out of pocket because of your accountant's incompetence

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this offer because H & R Block's response is not clear. Just because they are submitting the claim for review does not mean that it will be approved. Why else would they be saying "we will continue to correspond with Mrs*** to reach a MUTUALLY acceptable resolution." If what they mean is that they agree to refund me in full for the money I paid the IRS for their mistake then I would have accepted their offer. Let them state it clearly! They may be very courteous but vague.

I am rejecting this response because: At this point their is no resolution to the complaintI went in to see an tax-preparer about a different issueWhen I left they realized who I was and I was called backI was asked for more documentation (these document have all been provided to H&R Block Agents ) beforeUp until this time I have heard nothing from the companyThis was January 4thI was able o meet a very nice guy, Mr*** who informed me that they required more paper workI provided what I hadHe also informed me that me may need to request original documents from the IRSI am concerned that this request comes such a long period of time after the submission of my claimWhen I received this emailI forwarded it to Mr*** telling him that I can not accept this as there is no closureHe informed me that at my appointment on Monday (for another matter) the lady would help me request documentation from the IRSWhile I have had contact with the company since Monday, the matter is not resolved nor do I know what the outcome will be at the endI provided documentation showing the first letter from the IRS informing me that I owed about $which the preparer said he fixed and that I owed $(more or less) and which I paid the IRSUpon this submission from H&R Block I received a new letter saying I owed $(about)They have all this documentation and now they are requesting more documents outside of their promised weeks handling of claimsI can only consider the case closed when I receive the outcome from the companyI do appreciate Mr***'s efforts to try and bring the matter to a close

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:Ms., *** *** I have read your letter dated April 04, concerning the inquiry made to H & R Block for my complaint number list in the above subject line. H & R block has not made any attempt to assist me or contact me concerning a mutually acceptable resolution in the matter of my Federal Tax ReturnThe H & R Block representative who did my federal tax filing for 2015, “Proof” read my financial settlement in my divorce papers at the time of my filing my taxes with my ex-wife in the matter of our final divorce on January 15, 2015. The H & R Block preparer further determined that the financial settlement with my ex-wife was tax deductible during the filing of my federal tax return, when in all actuality the tax deduction was later determined, not to be allowable as a tax deduction on my federal tax return for by the IRS . At the time of my tax filing appointment with the H & R Block tax preparer, he reviewed my divorce papers and then made the decision that the deduction would be acceptableThe IRS has contacted me concerning this matter and has levied a sizable penalty and interest against me. Since, H & R Block prepared my taxes for the Tax year, they are supposed to pay the penalty and interest levied against me, since they are the professional tax preparer service and the individuals who prepared the taxes should be the responsible party(s) who are liable for the mistake. Note: Most companies carry insurance for “Errors and Omissions” whenever a mistake is made like thisI even carry this type of insurance to cover my work… Evidently, the MsMichelle Urie (Associate Business Analyst with H & R Block) who was mentioned in the Revdex.com letter dated April 04, has been mis-informed. I have not been contacted by H & R Block in the resolution of this matterI have stopped by the local H & R Block local office on two different occasions in the past six months and also provided them (H & R) with copies of the IRS letters and also two sets of my divorce papersI have spoken to a MrThomas Belford here in *** ** on two different occasions and I feel (and I know) that, I am getting the run aroundThe last time, that I met with MrBelford, he requested another set of my divorce papers when he even made a copy of the divorce papers himself on my visit in December Since, I have already supplied two sets of the papers, I think they are losing them on purpose!! H & R Block has totally screwed up my taxes for I will never suggest to anyone that I know, to ever use H & R Block as a tax preparer for someone’s taxes!!
Regards,
*** ***
