*** ***I reject their response, and I am sorry they do not own up to there mistakeI will never use their company again and I have many friends and relatives thatsay they won't either as they can not trust their program again not knowing if the program worked as it is suppose to and not getting help from their company. The guy from H&R Block said that the lady at the H&R Block did not know what see was seeingWhat a joke...I just hope that the program I worked with fromthem for will not come back from IRS with another mistake that was the fault of H&R Block

I am rejecting this response because: I was stunned to be told yesterday by Sunny that I could have rejected the return from H & R Block - Never was I told I could have declined the tax preparation after finding out the feeThe tax "pro" I used, nor the manager of the Grayson office EVER told me I could decline the service and file the return myselfI only found this out YESTERDAY!! Does that not tell you how H&R Block is unscrupulous with their fees and business practice?? I asked Sunny to instead of issuing a gift certificate for next year's return, to issue me a $credit for this year - she declined - saying the office did nothing wrongHow is this even legal? I am taking to social media to warn people of the fees and THEIR RIGHT TO REJECT the filing even after the tax professional has completed the returnHad I known - I ABSOLUTELY would have graciously declined the filing of my income taxes.

Dear Revdex.com,H&R Block has reviewed Ms***'s rebuttal to our prior responseThis response contains H&R Block's final position. In response to Ms***'s rebuttal, our review determines the rebuttal raises no new issues with the product that was chosenH&R Block and Tango no longer hold any funds nor have the ability to return funds that are not held by H&R Block and/or Tango*** holds all funds that were placed on the e-cards as directed by the user of the program. While we regret that Ms*** appears dissatisfied with her experience at H&R Block, we stand by our original response dated May 21, and we refer your office back to that response. We respectfully request that this case be closed judged administratively judged resolved, as we do not believe that any further response on our part would be beneficialHowever, should you have additional questions or desire to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am rejecting this
response because:
I will try to explain this again, your HR Block Tax agent did request
additional information and that information was sent before the Federal filing
date by email, and my wife and I questioned your office in person and in
writing if HR Block was going to file an extension
When I was called by HR
Block to pick up my completed Tax return we did so and Paid for it as I have
for the past years or moreThere was no delay on our part to pick up our
return or pay for it and I have the receipt for this payment.
I mailed the Federal Tax
Payment to the Federal IRS office that weekI received the IRS penalty letter
in the mail several weeks later for not filing my Federal Tax on time and also
an Interest penalty on the Federal Taxes I paidI called the HR Block office over
this mater and they advised me to pay it immediatelyAnd come in to the office
to file a claim against the peace of mind protection policy that I paid for
each year
As for a response to
*** ***, after the claim was filed and rejected by HR Block I could
not get a written explanation of why the claim was rejected and was summarily told
there would be no response by HR BlockWhat Good-Faith *** *** is referring
to is and unknown to me, for there has been no commercial payments to me or the
Federal IRS by HR Block to date
As I stated before the Missouri
IRS Tax Advocates office stated to me and my account, there is no reason why HR
Block should not have filed for an extensionIf they would have filed the paperwork
there would be no late filing penaltyAnd the Missouri IRS Tax Advocates office
they would not give me a reprieve on the penalty because there is no good justification
for HR Block failing to follow proper Tax procedure

*** ***

Dear Revdex.com: In response to this matter, our investigation reflects that Mr***’s complaint is against a franchise office, which has the responsibility to resolve this matter directly with your office and directly with the client However, our records indicate
that the Franchise Office has been in communication with Mr***The IRS disallowed Mr***’s business expenses due to lack of documentation to support deductions H&R Block’s Peace of Mind Extended Warranty Plan does not apply to: the government's inability to obtain from a client sufficient records to support deductions, credits and other items that were claimed on a tax return We respectfully ask the Revdex.com to close this caseHowever, if you should need anything further or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. *** ***Associate Business AnalystH&R Block

Dear Revdex.com,In resolution of this matter, Ms***'s return was reviewed at it was found that the online program does support the form HS-Homestead Declaration and property tax adjustment for ***Our representative, Howard, contacted Ms*** to discuss the form and how

I am rejecting this response because: The issue has not yet been resolvedI appreciate you detailing the response and action that will be done to resolve the issue, but I will not consider the complaint addressed until the issue is actually resolvedI presume you feel similarly, especially seeing as I went through this process last year, accepted H&R Block's response, and then nothing happened.I will be happy to close the complaint, once issue is resolvedCan youplease send an estimate of when to expect resolution?

Dear Revdex.com, In response to this matter, our records reflect that when our office was engaged after Ms***’s release, our tax professional drafted a letter on her behalf and mailed it to the Franchise Tax Board (FTB) to inquire about her 2007/state taxesIf the FTB released
a response, a letter would have been forwarded directly to the client Additionally, if Ms***’s seeks to understand why the IRS allegedly deducted money from her banking account, then we would encourage her to either work with the IRS directly or return to her local tax office and provide a power of attorney (POA)At that point, we will more than happy to contact the IRS on her behalf We assure you that we take the concerns of our clients seriously and make every effort to resolve matters thoroughly and fairlySincerely, *** *** Associate Business Analyst H&R Block

I am rejecting this response because:the staff at H&R Block advised me that the fees from would be deducted from my returnWhen I asked the preparer that I had in I was repeatedly told this was okayThey even asked the manager, and the manager said it was okay and the fees would come from the return and the IRS would get the restOtherwise I would have paid my fees right thereIn terms of 2015, the fees are unpaid because they will be coming from my anticipated refund from the IRS which has not been disbursed yetMy return is still in process with the IRS with no resolution date in sight

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:This is a non-answer in response to my issue I have contacted my local office and they helped me file the initial claim and the subsequent response to the first denial I have tried to contact my local office after the second denial and have yet to receive a response I was never given (and still have not been given in this response) a contact number for the "regional office." Also, as I mentioned in my initial complaint, the final denial that H&R Block issued in regards to my Peace of Mind claim does not make sense It was a single sentence which stated it was my fault for choosing the incorrect depreciation method for my properties on my tax returns Again, I did not choose this depreciation method I paid the H&R Block tax "expert" significant money to make the correct choices on how my taxes needed to be filed This error that went on for years (2011, 2012, 2013) ended up creating a situation in which I owed almost $4,dollars in back taxes to the IRS due to the incorrect amount of exemptions claimed by the H&R Block tax "expert" over the previous years Each year I purchased the "Peace of Mind" guarantee to protect myself from situations just like this It is disappointing to see how difficult it is to get the company to honor their services. This response that H&R Block has provided to me through the Revdex.com on this issue is commensurate with the level of communication I have received from H&R Block during this entire claims process This is unacceptable customer service

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: H&R Block still refuses to acknowledge what I have repeatably stated--the Peace of Mind refund was already settled and the amount was to be paid to me according to their own employee who handled my tax return problems, Ms*** ***, EA, an H&R Block “Master Tax Advisor Enrolled Agent.” Supposedly Ms*** was among the best thereShe told me in person that she called and talked to corporate H&R Block and that they agreed to pay half the amount of the taxes that I owedWhy half? Because Ms*** and whoever she spoke to agreed that H&R Block caused half of return problems that I faced and the other half was my fault, thus the agreed upon 50% amount that is owed to meNow H&R Block states that their $37,error on my return didn't contribute anything to the amount I owed the IRS, but once again, that was not the case when their own employee, Master Tax Advisor Enrolled Agent *** ***, reviewed and updated my returnMs*** already stated this money is owed to me--that is a binding contract that H&R Block is now attempting to back out ofWhat they are doing is unfair, illegal and causing great stress and hardship to me as I constantly have to relive going over the tax return of my recently deceased wife, Martina RolliIf this matter is not settled in the terms already agreed upon as per above, I will report H&R Block for fraud to all appropriate government agencies and seek legal counselRegards,
