My refrigerator had broken down on the weekend of 8/I bought a refrigerator online with HH Gregg on Monday 8/8, and delivery was communicated to occur on Saturday 8/As soon as I walked away from the computer my bank called to tell me that my card had been compromised by their websiteI had to resolve this with my bank to receive a new card On 8/I still had not received a call from HH Gregg about the delivery that should occur on 8/13, so I called themI was informed that the refrigerator that I had bought on Monday had since sold out They did not call to tell me that they sold out AFTER I had already bought the productThey did not call to tell me that my delivery would not occur as scheduledI had already gone a full week without a refrigerator and HAD to have something Their HQ did not help at allI had to make several complaint phone calls to reach customer serviceIn the end, they did not do much to rectify the situationI am now getting a refrigerator on 8/14, but it's not the same refrigerator that I originally orderedThe only offer for my trouble was a $gift card for a store I'm obviously never going to give my consumer dollars to again

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I find it concerning corporate could not locate a record of Corli offering me a gift card to NOT return the washer and dryerThe return of my order was initiated by Chris which resulted in a call from his manager, CorliDuring that call he told me that he would send me a gift card if I agreed to a washing machine replacementRight after that call, I emailed corporate (from the HHGregg website) and stated what occurred during that callWhen the new washing machine was delivered, the invoice stated an incorrect reason for the exchange to which I wrote on the invoice the true reason.During the initial purchase, my husband and I both asked about the price match guaranteeMy husband specifically asked if Black Friday pricing qualified and our sales rep said yesHe further reiterated that we should purchase a TV by "x" date so that it could be price matched against both Black Friday, Christmas and Superbowl deals.I purposely waited until the Black Friday prices for the price matchMy days was over right after ThanksgivingThe contract I signed did not state what exclusions existed for the price matchI am disappointed with the customer serviceThe appliance was delivered brokenChris tried to upsell me a new oneWhen I wanted to return, Corli called and said they would replace it and offered the gift cardAnd now the the price match is honored Regards, [redacted]

In August 2014, I purchased a Samsung refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave from HH Gregg, but did not purchase the extended warranty The refrigerator came with a month warranty, and months later started making a horrible racket I contacted HH Gregg and was told that they could not help me since the warranty was up I asked for the name of a repair service and was told they do not recommend any service providers I was able to find a repair service to work on the unit, and was told that the problem was common to Samsung refrigerators and was basically a design problem The internal fan ices up and causes the fan to become inoperative After the $repair, the unit continued to have problems, and a return service call did not remedy the problem I was told that nothing could be doneA second repair service was called, and the repairman advised that there was nothing they could do, as the problem was indeed a design flaw After researching on the Internet, I discovered that there are over 1,complaints on file from consumers who purchased Samsung refrigerators and are having the same problem I feel that HH Gregg is selling a product that is known to them (or should be known to them) to be defective
