I apologize the clarification is as follows: PNC stated they corrected the credit file reporting issue but as of yesterday I pulled a credit and still no data has been reported since April through Jan We are going to file suit but to clarify have not yetBecause of this year error with PNC that they refused to fix, we were not able to refinance our home and in turn are paying over 150,in additional interest that could have been avoided

Performance Spend with PNC Bank, National Association (“PNC”)I appreciate the opportunity to respond and follow up in writing to our phone conversation on December 8, 2017.In your complaint, you explain that you submitted an application online at www.pnc.com for a Virtual Wallet using a promotion sent to you by PNC which was declinedYou indicated you have attempted unsuccessfully to determine why you were declined.Our records indicate that on November 10, 2017, you submitted an application online for a Virtual Wallet with Performance Spend, however, your application could not be completed online and it was recommended that you visit a PNC branch location to complete an application for the product you selected.Thereafter, our records indicate that you visited a PNC branch on November 18, 2017, and submitted an application for a Virtual Wallet with Performance SpendAt that time, and with your consent, PNC submitted an inquiry to Early Warning Systems (EWS), the consumer reporting agency that PNC uses in determining whether to open a deposit accountPNC denied the application for the product you requested because the risk score received from EWS did not meet PNC’s guidelines for that productThis score is proprietary to EWS and is calculated based on many data fields and therefore, PNC is not able to advise you of the reason for your scoreHowever the Notice of Action provided to you, a copy of which is enclosed, advised that you are entitled to a free report from EWS which would enable you to review the report used to determine if there is any inaccurate information in the report that could be impacting your scoreIf you determine there is inaccurate information, then we recommend that you contact EWS or the furnisher of the information, to have your claims reviewed.Although your request to open a Virtual Wallet with Performance Spend was denied, you were informed that you may be eligible for a PNC SmartAccess Prepaid Visa CardThis card is not a credit card, but is a reloadable prepaid Visa cardYou declined the option to apply for the PNC SmartAccess Prepaid card.Lastly, our review also reflects that you have made several requests to make an exception permitting you to open the requested accountWhile we are sympathetic to your concerns, PNC respectfully declines your request.Thank you for allowing me to clarify PNC’s position in this matterIf you have any additional questions or concerns, please call me toll free at XXX-XXX-XXXXMy extension is XXX-XXX-XXXX and I am available Monday through Friday from 8:AM to 5:PM, Eastern Standard Time.Sincerely,XXXXXXXX XXXXXPNC Executive Client RelationsPNC Reference Number XXXXXXXXXXXX
