Frank did a great job This was our first experience with Horizon Services and were very impressed We have signed up for maintenance contract with Horizon based on this experience

I called Horizon Services this morning because my furnace stopped working I spoke to a real person who collected my information and provided a window of time when the tech would be onsite I was notified by dispatch that the tech would arrive shortly and that was the caseJared [redacted] was the technician and he got right to work on the problem and diagnosed the probable cause of the issue He explained what my options were and the cost of each Once I decided what I wanted done, he had everything he needed on his truck and he quickly completed the work He was courteous and diligent about checking his work He explained everything and thoroughly reviewed the follow up paperwork I was very happy with the service

Doug was very polite very business and very personable, he really did a excellent job explaining what he did and why and recommending improvements to by hvac system

Below is the most recent response for this Revdex.com complaint ID# [redacted] with [redacted] *** “On September 8, 2017, a Horizon Services technician arrived at [redacted] home to perform a scheduled point inspection/tune up on his Propane furnaceWhile completing this tune up, our technician discovered what he believed to be a crack in the heat exchangerPer our standard operating procedure, we sent out another HVAC Technician to perform a confirmation inspection of the heat exchangerUpon inspection of the heat exchanger our second technician confirmed the crack [redacted] Called in to Horizon Services on 9/13/stating that he received a quote from another company to replace the heat exchanger and would like us to match that price in order to remain a customerOur HVAC Service Manager agreed to heavily discount the replacement, but it is not Horizon Services’ policy to match pricing from other vendorsWe tried to reach out to [redacted] multiple times but did not receive any contact backWe are very sorry to hear [redacted] is not satisfied, but stand behind the diagnosis of our Technicians and have attached the picture of the crack taken while the technician was onsite, as well as the heat exchanger policy that Horizon Services requires all technicians to sign, and the Carbon Monoxide brochure that is given to homeowners should a cracked heat exchanger be discoveredAs a good faith effort to resolve the customer’s complaint and due to Horizon Services 100% Satisfaction Guarantee, we have refunded [redacted] his out of pocket costs of $1,which was paid to [redacted] for the removal and replacement of the heat exchanger.” Please let me know if you have any questions Thank You, Yolanda G***Customer Relations DeptManager

Great company that hires great people. They verify appointments, call ahead, and are never late. Chris was a great guy....courteous, knowledgeable, and motivated. Horizon chose well when they hired him. He fixed my drain and had to climb my roof to do it! He should get a promotion.

We referred my Uncle to Horizon based on the service and product quality we received After he finalized everything, we found out that he was taken to the cleaners Frankly, to do this to an year old man simply disgusts me He was charged $17,for a Coleman system (heating & air) We paid $20,for Lennox systems (heating & air) We had a 96% eff vs his at 90% Our capacity was a total of Ton to his Ton He had install team; we had We have various competitor rates between $9-11k for one of our systems from direct competitors which is a superior product to the one he bought This only adds up to one thing: an year old man was taken advantage of I'm certainly not done with this and plan on taking this as far as I can and to whatever outlets I can The only right thing this company can do now is to apologize and make this right by giving him a fair market price And let's not try and pretend that $for a Coleman, 90% eff, T is a fair market price The salesman and sales manager who go home feeling good about this and feel justified is so not the company that I dealt with years ago Now we are sending in price matches to prove something that the company already knows..unbelievable! Bottom-line..if you are older and thinking about going with Horizon or referring an elderly person to Horizon like we did - DON'T They will capitalize and take full advantage of any naive or good, honest nature you have And after my last phone conversation, it appears they can live with it just fine I would like the individual in customer service to refer her father to Horizon and have him play $17,for the system my Uncle received Don't think that will ever happen! To think, we went from referring this company to friends and family to wishing we never did!
