October *, 2017Revdex.com complaint #[redacted]B&H Web No: [redacted]On Aug *, 2017 the customer purchased one LUECLIPSEGL5 = Lunt Solar Systems B&H Solar / Solar Eclipse Viewing Glasses (5-Pack). Due to the unprecedented popularity of the solar eclipse he was one of tens of thousands to do so....

Because the lenses are ISO 12312-2 for Safe Solar Viewing they are specifically designed to blocks 99.999% of visible light. It is in fact impossible to see anything while wearing the glasses unless one is looking directly at the sun. No other light source is powerful enough to be seen. When he purchased them our product information page advised, "This item is nonreturnable."The customer's first after-sale comment was received by our customer service department on Oct ** 2017. Our return policy (moot because these are non-returnable) is thirty days. That time period has long elapsed. His is the only complaint we have received alleging the lenses were defective. Canon printer was not in stock in our warehouse and then subsequently confirmed, via our buyer, that our vendor had advised us it was in their warehouse. We placed our order with them. Normally the vendor would drop-ship this directly to the customer but that's not an option here because this customer is not in the USA. The printer is in transit to us and we are confirming the ETA with the shipper.We did not misrepresent this product's availability nor did we (or would we ever) lie to a customer. Considering the customer's dissatisfaction it would be understandable if he chose to cancel this portion of his order. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.It seems clear that customer service and recognizing educational discounts is not B&H prides itself on; it's no problem to take future $3,500 purchases elsewhere since they have offered no compromise or remedy.You might take a look at testing your order confirmation emails, as the shipping fee is on the Tax line (as in the screenshot).Sincerely,

I rather spend my time doing more productive things as it seems they won't be providing a further explanation than they already have. I've received the monitor and nor the monitor. I have received the monitor and currently using it although still not perfect as there's a dead pixel / dust inside the monitor, I don't want to have to wait again for another replacement.

As far as I am concerned I purchased UNLOCKED phones. When the time came that I needed to switch Sims cards THEY WERE LOCKED and I could not use them. I needed the phones 12-**-16 to be unlocked. Due to the Holidays I could not get them unlocked until yesterday 12-**-16, two days after I needed the phones. If the phones were truly UNLOCKED we would not be having this conversation. B&H has lost a client in me and I will never recommend them to anyone. To keep insisting these phones were unlocked and then supplying me with the unlock codes is VERY BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE. I had to purchase cheap unlocked phones to go on my trip. Thanks for nothing.

The company is not providing a valid solution. The "Choose Pre-Pay Duties & Tax, no additional charge at delivery" is UNDER the Free Shipping to Canada tab. The Camera is valid for the free shipping. Their website does imply at there is no additional cost to purchasing the camera which is misleading.

About fifteen minutes after their last response via my Revdex.com Complaint, I received an e-mail stating my package has been received and my refund is being processed.I have received my refund, so I am closing this complaint. I feel it is in the best interest of B&H to work on improving both their operations and customer service.

Shipping is free, i.e. there is no charge for the Purolator or [redacted] service to bring the purchased merchandise from our warehouse to the customer. Tax, duty, brokerage, customs, etc., are not shipping and are not included in the "free shipping" offer. [redacted]On Dec *, 2014 the customer ordered a Blu Studio D650A-Black phone from us. It was delivered Dec *, 2014. As with all our products it was covered by our 30-day return policy. It was also covered by a Limited 1-Year Manufacturer...

Warranty. On Jan **, 2015 we issued return authorization [redacted] at the customer's request when the customer alleged it was defective. We received the customer's return June *, 2015. That represents a delay of almost six (6) months.On June *, 2015 under [redacted] an order for a  Blu Studio D651U-Black was processed and shipped. It was delivered to the customer June *, 2015. On June **, 2015 after the customer reported this too was defective we issued return authorization [redacted]. We received the customer's return Oct *, 2015. That represents a delay of four (4) months.On Oct **, 2015 we processed an order for a BLU Studio [redacted] Smartphone. It was delivered Oct **, 2015. Two months later, on Dec **, 2015 the customer advised that this third phone was also defective. Our return policy time period for this transaction has expired. The phone is covered by a Limited 1-Year Manufacturer Warranty and the customer's recourse now is via that warranty. We will not accept a return on this device for refund or store credit. The customer's purchase-and-return pattern is abusive, especially when the length of time between our issuing return authorization and the return of the first two phones is taken into account. We had prepared a replacement order with overnight shipping when the customer instructed us to cancel that order and refund instead of replacing. We have complied. The refund has been submitted our bank. Due to federal UCC regulations it may take several days before the customer's bank can confirm the refund to the customer.
