Although its been 8 months since this incident, I appreciate the effort made by by the guest relations officer, [redacted]. I don't believe the 1-night stay offered by the hotel makes up for the $700 loss that we took on this matter. We won't be staying at a Hyatt hotel in the future.

The General Manager has attempted numerous contacts to attempt to resolve with no response. Any further concerns should be directed to the hotel’s General Manager for assistance.

The guest has been contacted and advised that he was treated at least as favorably as all other similarly situated guests.  As background, in 2013, Hyatt did incorrectly send a small group of individuals an offer that promised Diamond status as long as they had the Hyatt credit card. This...

guest, however, was not part of the group that received the incorrect offer from Hyatt.  He applied for the credit card through channels that fully and accurately disclosed that the credit card provided Platinum status.  The guest contacted Hyatt in 2013 and sought Diamond status based on third-party websites that mentioned Hyatt’s incorrect offer. Based on the guest’s concerns, we offered him the choice of points or Diamond status for one year. He chose Diamond status for one year, which ended February 28, 2015. Based on the previous concerns brought to our attention and the compensation provided, we do feel it is fair and equitable and no additional upgrades are warranted unless met by the published criteria with our loyalty program.

We have responded to the guest to provide a future credit.

We have been in correspondance with the guest several times. We have advised the guest of the resolution to his concerns. The guest does seem satisfied with the resolution we have provided him with.
