I have attached the credit card statements to the unexplained $charges to this responseAdditionally, I have attached the email complaint to the moving company along with the attached contract/agreement of the consolidated moveIn the email I am clearly writing to ***, explaining that I was given a quote for $for a CONSOLIDATED move and that the company is backing out of doing the consolidated move and is forcing me to pay $2,extra for a exclusive move because they would lose too much money doing a consolidated move*** replies he will investigateNever replies backI had to physically show up at the office in New York where Ruma said she would speak to *** and see if he could do itLater, she replies back in the email that they will not do the consolidated move for that price and I should continue to use a different company last minuteI emailed ***, to email me in writing that he cannot do the move, he refuses to respond backThis company is composed of corrupt, lying, unprofessional staffMultiple people have filed similar consumer complaintsThey are a complete fraud.

This company is not professional at all There was misrepresentation at every level regarding a small move I had them do a few weeks ago They told me I would pay a flat rate and hit me with erroneous charges at the end of the move Furthermore there was no phone call the day before or day of the move to confirm I frantically left several unanswered messages the day of the move which was a Saturday and never received a call back even though the voicemail stated they weren't in the office but check messages When I booked with this company the salesperson swore there was always someone available to speak to Not true Eventually they agreed to refund my $and I still haven't received a check even though they told me the check was mailed

I have responded to *** *** with a firm settlement amount I have yet to hear back

As I requested of the business on multiple occasions, I absolutely require a date certain to make arrangements, not a three day window of possibilitiesFurther, the range of dates listed by the business for delivery is outside of the contacted limit- basically, the business has just admitted it will be breaching material terms of the contract, already partially breached when they consolidated my shipment in the first place, compounded by this late date of delivery (terms were for delivery 4-workdays from date of my availability to receive shipment, which was 7/*/14, and as such delivery after 7/**/is in breachFinally, the business agent who contacted me to inform me of the planned pending breach and delivery window suggested that I "remove my complaints" or "he would not be able to help me"

This
business chose to ignore the request for resolution from my attorney AND this complaint from the Revdex.com (note this was received after the time period to respond to the complaint and closed by the Revdex.com)In their response to my claim, Imperial gave me days to respond: in that time period they did not respond to my attorney's request for arbitration or the Revdex.comThe owners of Imperial Moving and Storage know exactly what they are doing to cheat people out of money within all the legal timeframes and loopholes that allow them to be released from responsibility for their bad business practicesIn the end, I lost nearly $20,worth of my belongings collected over a lifetime and memorabilia that cannot be replacedThey offered me $1500, which I ended up settling for at the end of days because it was my only option to redeem any compensation from my losses. I selected this company because they led me to believe that my property would be cared for in a safe and clean manner at a fair priceI paid my bill to them every month for years, and paid to have them pick up and deliver it allI held up the business agreement, and they did notThat's fraud.

This refund was mailed out almost weeks agoIf the customer still does not receive the check by 2/*/2015, she can send us again her mailing address- and we will issue her a new check

I should have not been charged for storageImperial moving services was to move my belongings in a consolidated move to Cleveland for $1,200. After moving my belongings into the storage, they refused to move my belongings in a consolidated moveInstead they held my belongings hostage and demanded that I pay 2,extra for an "exclusive" moveI refused and had to hire new, dependable movers for an expensive amountNot only should my storage be free, I should be refunded the $for them failing to follow through with the contract/agreement as well as the inconvenienceMany of my belongings were damaged when they threw my belongings in a tiny storage in *** ***I had to go to the storage unit, in an unsafe area, by myself to retrieve my itemsThis company is refusing to own up to their fraudulent behaviorPrior complaints on this website as well as *** address the same issuesI want a refund of the $390.

The response given by Imperial Moving Company contains several falsehoods and misrepresentations. Imperial has never emailed me (nor contacted me in any other manner)  to resolve this issue so it is untrue that they could have “numerous emails of correspondence which indicate our commitment in trying to resolve this issue.”  Second, Imperial never offered me a $1000 discount because of the cancellation. In order to secure the job in the first place, Imperial was eager to come down in price to be competitive with the other moving estimates we had received, all of which were thousands lower than Imperial. However, absolutely no discount (nor any other effort) was made when the move was postponed by the company within 24 hours of contracted move time. The company could not offer the same move date as it was only available to start in mid-afternoon and the entire house would not have been able to be moved before dark. The specific mover referred was guaranteed and put into the moving contract and was a condition upon which the job was secured by Imperial.  Lastly, I just called the number listed in Imperial’s response to my Revdex.com complaint and the company at that phone number is not a legal mediator; it is a third party administrative company contracted by Imperial.Satisfaction to this claim will be made when Imperial Moving Company pays me the $1250 differential price that I had to be pay to a new moving company to secure a moving crew within 24 hours as a result of Imperial Moving's last minute time-slot cancellation and refusal to communicate immediately upon Imperial’s Moving company's cancellation and thereafter to resolve issue.Your Answer Here]

The customer had signed the bill of lading requesting evaluation coverage of 60 cents per pound per item. Additional insurance was offered to her prior to the relocation , but she had declined. Despite her insufficient coverage, we have offered her a settlement of $150.00. We are willing at this...

my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The businesses' response doesn't address what is being or will be done to provide me restitution for my lost furniture and the monies I have incurred to nationalize a shipment of garbage. More than an month has passed since my complaint was filed and now I am being avoided by the managers of the business and left with with no definitive answer on how my issue is going to be solved. My furniture remains sequestered or lost since May [redacted] 2014.

Especially since they were not able to repair it.  Until I receive the check for 200.00 this matter is NOT resolved.    Secondly - No additional insurance was ever offered to me at any point. Everything was done over the phone and was rushed rushed. Had I know about the additional insurance I would have got it to avoid having to go through this type of inconvenience. We are willing at this point to raise the offer to $200.00. If the customer accepts, we will send her the check immediately.  I accept this offer and would like for them to send me a check.
