Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:They didn't contact me, I also have not received any reply of the site.I want to know have you contact them?Sincerely,[redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because: I have been in contact with the campaign owner [redacted] SEVERAL times and he is not fulfilling his obligation as a campaign owner by providing me with a refund. He responded to an email from me on April 1, 2016 and said that he would be getting a money order and getting things squared away with my refund within a few days, that has not occurred. I emailed [redacted] back today April 25, 2016 to let him know that it has been almost a month since he emailed me to tell me that he was going to get a money order and still I have received nothing. I don't understand how Indiegogo can say that they can not mediate or get involved in the matter of their campaign manager not fulfilling his responsibility when the are allowing him to use their website as a platform to advertise his product(s) in a fundraiser type manner, and he is not providing people with the product as promised, or a refund as promised??? I didn't contact [redacted] out of the blue, I contacted him through his campaign on Indiegogo's website. Indiegogo is the company that charge my account for the payment, therefore they should have involvement in making sure that people's perks are fulfilled or their money is refunded. I have been contacting Indiegogo since October 2015 about this matter, I have been contacting the Campaign manager [redacted] about this matter. They have my money, I don't have merchandise.Sincerely,[redacted]

fulfillment is the full responsibility of the campaign owner. Our Terms of Use states,
"Indiegogo is an online crowdfunding venue for people and entities seeking to raise funds for their own Campaigns and to contribute to the Campaigns of others. Campaign Owners can offer gifts in the form of tangible items or intangible services (collectively, "Perks") to Contributors. Perks are not offered for sale. Indiegogo does not represent that Campaign Owners will deliver Perks or that Contributions will be used as described in the Campaign. Users use the Service at their own risk. "
With that said, we have been in contact with the this contributor to explain our Terms of Use and clarify any other questions. We have also shared this contributor's perk questions and contact information with the campaign owner to get in touch with this contributor.
Because funds have already been disbursed to the campaign owner, and because contributions made through Indiegogo are transactions that take place between the campaign owner, contributor, and payment processor, we are unable to issue a refund to this contributor. However, we do suggest that the contributor feel free to reach out directly to the campaign owner to resolve any perk questions or request a refund and to respond directly to us if they have any other questions
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (2000, 7, 2014/04/25) */
(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
The campaign owner responded to Indiegogos' message and offered a full refund.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. They have indeed released the funds, and they also responded to my emails after I submitted the complaint. This complaint would not have existed would they have responded to my questions, and would they list a telephone number for such inquiries.
Not having any response for days and not finding a telephone number where to call, triggered my concern which had me look for a way to obtain a response.Sincerely, [redacted]

Indiegogo provides an open crowdfunding platform permitting funds to be raised for a wide range of projects in accordance with our Terms of Use (www.indiegogo.com/about/terms. Campaigns are run by their individual campaign owner's and not...

by Indiegogo. Indiegogo does not manage campaigns, nor are are perks offered by Indiegogo. Instead, all perks are offers made by Campaign Owners, and we recommend to any contributor who has questions about a campaign's offerings that make inquires of the campaign owner.
In order to maintain the openness of our platform while protecting the security of our users, Indiegogo uses a proprietary fraud detection algorithm to catch violations or unwanted behavior on our platform. We also rely on our team of Trust and Safety experts to review and verify activity on our platform and take the appropriate action. Finally, we have a fantastic community of users who let us know about suspicious or inappropriate behavior which helps us keep our platform secure.
Our Trust and Safety Team has received the complaints about this campaign, from this contributor, and will include any pertinent information in their review of the campaign. Indiegogo is not able to provide information into individual security decisions and our processes in order for us to maintain the utmost security and privacy of our users.

Contributions made through Indiegogo are transactions that take place between the campaign owner, contributor, and payment processor, and are non-refundable by Indiegogo, as stated in our Terms of Use (www.indiegogo.com/about/terms.) Although we are unable to refund the contributor's contribution, we have been in touch with this contributor and have shared the campaign owner's contact information with this contributor in an effort to facilitate communication.
By creating a campaign on Indiegogo, the campaign owner agrees to use funds and fulfill all perks as stated in their campaign. If, for any reason, they are unable to use Contributions as described in their Campaign, they agree to work with the Contributors to reach a mutually satisfactory resolution, which may include refunding their Contributions.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Hello,
This is a gray area. I hope if I answer, Yes, someone reads this and understands that it is not resolved but I understand Indiegogo steps out of the accountability role for the the vendor. I appreciate forwarding the message to the vendor.

Indiegogo is a global crowdfunding platform that empowers people to raise funds for the things that matter to them, and in turn allows backers to help fund ideas they'd like to see come to life.
It is important to note that the nature of crowdfunding...

([redacted]) is that contributing to a campaign on Indiegogo is not the same thing as making a purchase in a store. People can raise money for various things, and be at various stages of their project. Contributors are backing an idea, not purchasing a pre-made project or item. Like anyone contributing to an early-stage project, you accept the risk that the project might experience delays, changes to their original vision, or may not come to fruition. Indiegogo is not able to guarantee that perks will be fulfilled or that, if fulfilled, the Backer will find them satisfactory. We have tips on how to evaluate a campaign in our Help Center: [redacted].
If this backer is interested in finding out about the shipping status of their perk, they'll need to get in touch with the campaigner, directly. We'd point them to the latest campaign update which was posted by the campaigner just 5 days ago (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/simpiz-fastest-power-bank-on-the-planet/upda... but they cal also contact the campaigner directly.

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/04/17) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This response is unacceptable.
Indiegogo has received a large amount of money for hosting this project but it is not clear what responsibilities to their customers this entails? Their response suggests that they have no responsibility for anything related to this project and any customer has only the campaign owner to address. The campaign owner is not responding to the dozens of complaints on the website. Indiegogo also does not respond. There is no accountability for what happened to $250,000. Why did this project fail? Indiegogo did not vet this project properly and allowed an obvious fraud to be placed on their website. Indiegogo collected a large fee for this from the contributors. This is illegal and unethical. The silence suggests that they do have responsibility to their customers but are unwilling to pursue the facts of this matter.
The money is gone and has likely been stolen by the campaign owners one of whom is in Florida and the other traveling between Italy and China. The electronic parts from this project have been advertised on various Italian websites with complete disregard. This project requires a review by Indiegogo of what went wrong with a reporting to their customers. They advertise "customer happiness" yet have done nothing to live up to this phrase.
This project was hosted by Indiegogo as educational technology. Many teachers and their students were to benefit from these low cost electronic kits that could be used to teach children in low budget schools. It is particularly unethical to take advantage of an educational theme in this way.
Sadly, all Indiegogo has done about this is to ignore customer complaints, refuse to bring this to any kind of an acceptable conclusion considering the amount of the fee they have collected and ultimately avoid any suggestion of responsibility of any kind. This is reprehensible, unethical, illegal and bad business.

That said, we appreciate this customers thoughts on Indiegogo's position as an open platform. Indiegogo offers a space for innovation and discovery. Instead we provide a platform where people who are passionate [redacted] their ideas can connect with funders who believe in their vision. It's a core part of our ethos as a business and we vehemently stand by this belief. Our customers deserve the opportunity to fund ideas they believe in. The crowd is entitled to decide, eyes wide open, what concepts they want to have a part in trying to advance.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/05/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This response from Indiegogo is unacceptable.
While I acknowledge that perks are the responsibility of the campaign owner, it is
still unclear to me exactly what the responsibility of Indiegogo is relative to this campaign. For the substantial amount of money they collected it would seem that Indiegogo has a minimum responsibility of providing correct and accurate information to facilitate this matter so the funders can contact the campaign owner and negotiate a settlement. Repeatedly, Indiegogo has provided information which is not viable and therefore the 4300 contributors are unable to communicate with Mr. [redacted]. This may be technically legal but it is highly unethical and not a good business practice. The result is 4300 unhappy customers.
There has been no accounting for the $250,000 dollars and where it was sent. Why doesn't a campaign have a contractual obligation to report the use of the money raised? Indiegogo needs to provide contact information which works while to date attempts to contact the campaign owner has produced nothing. All organizations are accountable for funds donated even if they are generated by a fund raising/marketing company for a specific cause. I think with some meaningful communication on the part of Indiegogo we would be on the way to resolving this matter.
The complete lack of cooperation on the part of Indiegogo is ironic since their idealistic view of raising funds for worthy causes is in direct contradiction to the off putting manner with which they treat their customers.
Considering the old adage "the customer is always right"; this doesn't seem to be part of Indiegogo's creed. All one has to do is read the blog for the BE Maker campaign to get a sense of how angry and disappointed funders are with this company. They should develop some way of providing a level of customer satisfaction even if it isn't their legal obligation. All they have produced in this case is 4300 unhappy customers.

Hello Everyone,
First I just want to say please do not harass my wife or anyone else as she/they has nothing to do with this campaign. If this continues I will seek authorities. I know this project is going on longer then any of us intended. I know many of you want your product or money back, but I need to be able to get a hold of [redacted] in order to accomplish either one of these scenarios.
I have been working on my side of the project which is getting you videos, and writing up scripts. I intend to post another video shortly. As soon as [redacted] gets back with me on where everything is, I will make an update on those developments as soon as he answers me.
Thank You,
Harold

WE ARE PERFORMING MAINTENANCE, MIGRATION AND UPDATES
PLEASE BE PATIENT, THE SERVICES WILL BE BACK SOON.
THANK YOU
Not even a thank you note from Harold or Indiegogo for our contribution.
Thanks for your help with resolving this. If Indiegogo takes these concerns seriously rather than reiterating the technicalities of their terms of service, it will make them a stronger competitor in the crowd funding business.
Cordially,

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/09/02) */
We understand that this customer has some questions about Indiegogo, along with wondering when they should expect to receive a perk that they claimed from a campaign.
Indiegogo is a global crowdfunding platform that empowers people to...

raise funds for the things that matter to them, and in turn allows contributors to help fund ideas, causes, and projects that they'd like to see come to fruition. It's important to note that that campaigns are run by their individual campaign owners, and perks are offers made solely by them, not Indiegogo.
Our Terms of Use ([redacted]) obligates campaign owners to fulfill any promised perks. Perk fulfillment is the full and sole responsibility of the campaign owner. Our Terms of Use states,
"Indiegogo is an online crowdfunding venue for people and entities seeking to raise funds for their own Campaigns and to contribute to the Campaigns of others. Campaign Owners can offer gifts or rewards in the form of tangible items or intangible services (collectively, "Perks") to Contributors. Perks are not offered for sale. Indiegogo does not represent that Campaign Owners will deliver Perks or that Contributions will be used as described in the Campaign. Users use the Service at their own risk."
Because contributions made through Indiegogo are transactions that take place between the campaign owner, contributor, and payment processor, we are unable to issue a refund to this contributor. However, we do suggest that the contributor feel free to reach out directly to the campaign owner to resolve any perk questions or request a refund.
Finally, we do see that this campaign owner has been posting updates and posted an email address to be used to contact them. We recommend this contributor follow up with the campaign owner, directly.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 12, 2015/10/26) */
I still have not received any perk or had any phone calls resolved. I am not satisfied at all with the response.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2015/11/03) */
We understand that this customer has additional thoughts on this matter.
As has been previously outlined, Indiegogo provides an open crowdfunding platform permitting funds to be raised for a wide range of projects in accordance with our Terms of Use (www.indiegogo.com/about/terms). Campaigns are run by their individual campaign owner's and not by Indiegogo. Indiegogo does not manage campaigns, nor does Indiegogo offer perks. Instead, all perks are offers made by Campaign Owners, and we recommend to any contributor who has questions about a campaign's offerings that make inquires of the campaign owner.
With that said, we have no record of a contribution having been made under the email address which this Revdex.com dispute was filed. We recommend this customer open up a conversation with the owner of this campaign, via the email address they used to make their contribution so that the campaign owner can locate their transaction.

We understand this customer has additional concerns on this matter, as they have not received a refund from the owner of this campaign. As has previously outlined, Indiegogo is not able to issue this customer a refund for their contribution. Our [redacted] outline:"RefundsContributors may request a refund from Indiegogo before the end of a Campaign here. For Campaigns that have entered the InDemand program, Contributors may request a refund from Indiegogo within 10 days of the contribution, here. Contributions are eligible for a refund by Indiegogo unless (a) the contribution funds have already been transferred to the Campaign Owner, (b) the Perk associated with the contribution has been fulfilled, or (c) Indiegogo determines that there has been an abuse of these [redacted]. Indiegogo reserves the right to terminate User Accounts and remove Campaigns for any abuse of this refund policy. For Campaigns that have ended, or in situations where the contribution funds have been transferred to the Campaign Owner, Contributors should contact the Campaign Owner directly regarding refunds."Campaign owners are the party solely responsible for their campaigns, including fulfilling any perks they offered therein. As such, if this customer has questions about the campaign, when they can expect to receive their perks, or would like to receive a refund from this campaign owner, this customer will need to make inquires of the campaign owner, directly. We are unable to mediate this dispute, but have previously provided this customer with the campaign owner's contact information in an effort to facilitate communication. We wish them the best of luck in arriving at a resolution to their dispute, with the campaign owner.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/05/15) */
Indiegogo is a merit-based platform. Placement on Indiegogo's home page, promotions, and inclusion in the browse pages are driven by a campaign's activity and the responsiveness of its community. Our platform's processes as well as...

information regarding our proprietary algorithm- called the gogofactor- are stated throughout our website and Help Center.
Because hundreds of campaigns launch on Indiegogo everyday, our browse pages are designed to balance highlighting our healthiest campaigns, while streamlining the browse experience for contributors. We include only the most active campaigns in our browse pages. Therefore, we encourage the campaign owner to stay active and rally people around their campaign, as any campaign running on Indiegogo can be included in the browse pages by increasing their campaign activity.
That said however, we have already been in touch with the campaign owner to reiterate this matter, as well as offer suggestions and support regarding their campaign.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/05/29) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Yep, they reiterated the same old BS. It is only more double-talk with Indiegogo's repeated line of:
"inclusion in the browse pages are driven by a campaign's activity and the responsiveness of its community. Our platform's processes as well as information regarding our proprietary algorithm- called the gogofactor are stated throughout our website and Help Center." "PROPRIETARY" MEANS "SECRET" KNOWN ONLY BY INDIEGOGO. And "your community" means my relatives that I must beg and/or guilt into giving at least 30% before I can even think about maybe getting listed fairly on any browse page. I repeat: "PROPRIETARY" MEANS "SECRET" KNOWN ONLY BY INDIEGOGO.
Indidgogo's "Customer Happiness Team" leaked it out recently with this stock answer to me: "all campaigns placement in the browse pages is base on our proprietary algorithm called the gogofactor. As Indiegogo is a merit-based platform, campaign placement is based on a campaign's activity and the responsiveness of its community." (this means the responsiveness of guilting your family)
The "gogofactor" is a secret platform. And they broadcast that the more persons you have on your team the better your chances. And what this means is that there are now more persons to beg (guilt) their relatives for the 30% of the total campaign funds sought, so that they can collect their 9% of that amount for doing nothing.
My complaints to their so called "Happiness Team" was met with statements like: "We typically see that successful campaigns raise about 30% of their goal from family, friends, and fans within the first few weeks of their campaign" (this means guilt your family) and they say: "a plan to activate your community to care about your project, and a call to action is the first step." (this means guilt your family) and they say: "share your campaign's URL directly with friends, family, and your community. This is far more important to the success of a campaign than its placement on the browse pages." (this means guilting your family is more important) and since you won't appear on the browse pages, no one but your family will have your URL, but no one else can find you. And: "We can never promise that a campaign will appear on the browse pages throughout its duration" and they say: "Unfortunately, we're not able to provide any more specific details about what makes up the gogofactor." That's because it is SECRET. Maybe 30%, maybe more.
The resolution I am seeking is to conduct investigations and challenge the blatant unfairness to consumers and to have it rectified for future campaigners to be able to run successful campaigns, with a more fair way of being listed, without having to guilt the family.
However, we know that Revdex.com's stock answer will say that Indiegogo made a good faith effort to resolve this matter and that will be a lie. Revdex.com, please don't tell me this. If Revdex.com wants to live up to a good name then take Indiegogo off the "A" list, or else look into their bad practices of false and/or misleading advertising and put them on the "F" list. Or make them publicize their secret "gogofactor" mechanism to remain on the "A" list.
If not, hopefully FTC and CA and PA Attorneys General will act on Indidgogo's false practices and their secret gogofactor of quilting relatives first and stop the Scam, and make Revdex.com look like dummies!
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2014/06/04) */
As we have mentioned, placement on Indiegogo's home page, promotions, and inclusion in the browse pages are driven by a campaign's activity and the responsiveness of its community. This information is outlined and can be found throughout our website, Help Center and is a core feature of our platform.
The gogofactor is a proprietary algorithm in which many factors are taken into account. Earlier, we did suggest some general methods for the campaign owner to increase the activity around their campaign. These tips were offered in order to help suggest ways that the campaign owner improve their campaign, based on methods we have seen other campaign owners utilize in raising funds. Unfortunately, we're not able to provide any more specific details about what makes up the gogofactor because this information is proprietary. That said however, all campaigns are subject to the same visibility features.
Please note that we have provided the campaign owner all the information we are able to regarding our proprietary visibility algorithms. Although we understand this can be frustrating, Indiegogo is designed to give everyone an equal shot at success. We do appreciate the feedback that the campaign owner has shared with us regarding their frustration with this functionality, and are continuously taking in feedback such as this to further make improvements.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2014/06/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I repeat my original complaints about Indiegogo, as well as my last answer, which you have not published, since their responses indicate business as usual and they will continue to clean up on thousands of naive hopefuls guilting their relatives to contribute to an unknown "proprietary" amount, only known by Indidgogo, (probably 30 percent or more of the established goal) so Indiegogo can collect an unearned 9% on millions for doing nothing. Their big lie: "The gogofactor is a proprietary algorithm in which many factors are taken into account." "Many?" The only apparent factor is the 30 or more percent that they can collect their 9 percent on.
You can inform Indiegogo that I am not frustrated, as they imply in their response, I am angry, totally furious that Revdex.com will say that Indiegogo made a good faith effort to resolve this matter when they did not, and will not. Like I said before they deserve a Revdex.com rating of F. But of course, you will probably fail to publish that, and they will continue to pay their dues and retain their A rating, and the public remains unaware. Why doesn't Revdex.com look into the false promises of Indiegogo? After my last response to Revdex.com's answer to me, Indiegogo proceeded to "punish 'me with not asked for spam email daily, with their chosen "successful" projects that I couldn't care less about, plus scores (at least 30) of spammers immediately poured into my email account about "fund raising" and "crowdfunding." Obviously, I was targeted by Indidgogo. But go and prove it. I guess they will be planting viruses next. Their prize winning statement above with their sweet words: "We do appreciate the feedback that the campaign owner has shared with us regarding their frustration with this functionality, and are continuously taking in feedback such as this to further make improvements," is just about the biggest amount of bull [redacted] that could be written. Mine is NOT feedback, and I didn't "share." It is a legitimate complaint. Their stock answers are more than sickening. It will never change, unless they are stopped from the unfair and lying practices and promises, promoting false hopes.

If Indiegogo has any other means for contacting the campaign owner, methods which they are unwilling to share with me, then they need to contact the owner using those methods. If they have no other contact information then how is it that the campaign owner has other campaigns that they are providing updates to? Clearly there must be some contact information for this campaign owner which IndieGogo isn't providing.
It seems like Indiegogo is enabling someone to do a drive-by scam on its users if it allows campaign owners to completely ignore one campaign and provide useless contact information to that campaign, but allows them to operate another campaign properly.
Sincerely,[redacted]

Indiegogo provides an open crowdfunding platform permitting funds to be raised for a wide range of projects in accordance with our Terms of Use (www.indiegogo.com/about/terms). Campaigns are run by their individual campaign owner's and...

not by Indiegogo. Indiegogo does not manage campaigns, nor does Indiegogo offer perks. Instead, all perks are offers made by Campaign Owners, and we recommend to any contributor who has questions about a campaign's offerings that make inquires of the campaign owner.
People can raise money for various things, and be at various stages of their project. Contributors are backing an idea, not purchasing a pre-made project. Like anyone contributing to an early-stage project, you accept the risk that the project might not come to fruition. Again, Indiegogo does not make claims or verify that a "campaign owner will deliver perks or that contributions will be used as described on the campaign." The decision to contribute to any campaign is in the sole determination of the contributor and their evaluation of the campaign, not Indiegogo. We recommend that each contributor go through their own vetting process before they decide to contribute. We have compiled a list of how to evaluate a campaing, as a good starting point: https://support.indiegogo.com/hc/en-us/articles/XXXXXX-How-to-Evaluate-a-Campaig... /> As the campaign owner is the party solely responsible for their campaign, and any perks offered therein, we recommend this customer reach out to the campaign owner directly to arrive at a resolution to their inquiries, or to request a refund.
We see that the campaign owner has been posting frequent blog posts about the progress of their product development, and we'd encourage this contributor to review them all. Here's the latest one: https://www.[redacted].com/blog-infographic The Campaign Owner may also be reached through their own website (https://support.[redacted].com/hc/en-us), or social media (https://www.facebook.com/[redacted] or https://twitter.com/[redacted]).

Indiegogo is an open platform which anyone can use to raise funds for any project, cause, or business. We understand this customer has some concerns surrounding the disbursement of funds from their Indiegogo campaign. We have been in...

touch with this campaign owner to outline to them how disbursements work on Indiegogo. We have also already outlined this process in this customer's previous Revdex.com complaint, which was resolved on 07/21/2014
The timing and method by which a campaign owner receives funds raised depends on how the campaign receives contributions. All contributions received through PayPal will be sent to the campaign owner's PayPal account. All contributions a campaign receives via credit card will be sent to the campaign owner's bank account after the campaign's deadline. Disbursements can take up to 15 business days after the campaign's deadline for the funds to arrive in the customer's bank account, assuming that the bank account information is complete and accurate. An email notice will be sent to the customer when the funds have disbursed.
We'd like to address this customer's concerns and complaints in turn:
1. That "Indiegogo changed the rules" with regard to their disbursement.
To address this concern, Indiegogo's disbursement process has not been changed for more than three years and has remained the same throughout the course of this customer's campaign. The method of disbursement is explained during the campaign creation process, and is clearly outline in our Help Center article: http://support.indiegogo.com/entries/XXXXXXXX-disbursements-when-do-i-get-my-mon... /> 2. That "They refused to put the funds in my paypal account."
To address this concern, all contributions made via direct credit card can only be disbursed via ACH or international wire to a valid bank account. Only contributions made via PayPal are disbursed to the PayPal account of the campaign owner. Again, for more information about this, please see our Help Center article: http://support.indiegogo.com/hc/en-us/articles/XXXXXX-When-Do-I-Get-My-Money-
That said, we have responded to this campaign owner's inquiries and have been in contact with the campaign owner directly in order to clarify this matter, and assist them further. We appreciate the campaign owner's feedback and cooperation.

Campaign funds raised via Direct Credit Card are disbursed within 15 business days of a campaign's deadline, assuming that the bank account information is complete and accurate. This disbursement timeline is clearly outlined during the campaign creation process. Additionally, all disbursement information is outlined in our Help Center: http://support.indiegogo.com/entries/XXXXXXXX-disbursements-when-do-i-get-my-mon... />
This campaign owner can expect the funds to be disbursed within 15 business days of their campaign's deadline, and will receive an email notification when the funds have been disbursed.

We have also been in contact with the campaign owner directly in order to clarify this process.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2014/06/18) */
We understand the campaign owner's concern. The disbursement of campaign funds via bank transfer typically take 3-5 business days to arrive after being initiated for disbursement. If funds have not arrived within 10 business days of the...

disbursement date, the disbursement may have been rejected due to incorrect bank information. We are typically notified within 5 - 9 days after the disbursement date, at which point we will ask the campaign owner to re-submit their bank account information. This process is outlined in our Help Center: http://support.indiegogo.com/entries/XXXXXXXX-disbursements-when-do-i-get-my-mon...
In this campaign owner's particular situation, their funds were indeed returned to us due to incorrect or invalid bank account information. We sincerely apologize for the delay and any frustration the campaign owner has experienced. Our team is currently in communication with the campaign owner to ensure that funds are re-disbursed as soon as possible to the correct bank account information. We appreciate the campaign owner's patience and cooperation.

various things, and be at various stages of their project. Contributors are backing an idea, not purchasing a pre-made project. Like anyone contributing to an early-stage project, you accept the risk that the project might not come to fruition. We have tips on how to evaluate a campaign in our Help Center: http://support.indiegogo.com/entries/XXXXXXXX-how-to-evaluate-a-campaign.
We always recommend a contributor open up a conversation with the campaign owner if they would like to know what the campaign owner is planning regarding their product development.
Contributions made through Indiegogo are transactions that take place between the campaign owner, contributor, and payment processor, and are non-refundable by Indiegogo, as stated in our Terms of Use (www.indiegogo.com/about/terms). Therefore, we recommend the contributor reach out directly to the campaign owner if they are interested in receiving a refund. Although we are unable to refund the contributor's contribution, we have been in touch with this contributor and have outlined this information to the customer.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/03/24) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Copy and paste of another responses, I already tried to contact the campaign owners, I already have another Revdex.com.org complaint open against them! The problem here isn't only that the campaign owner failed to deliver is the lack of action and customer support.
Both them (campaign owners) and us (contributors) are bound to the ToS of Indiegogo but on the other hand Indiegogo must enforce said terms, which didn't happened, they didn't take no action whatsoever, not only that they allowed the scammers to run another campaign even after users contact them and tell them about the fraud.
We had no help from Indiegogo except by sending the same email remembering that's not their problem anymore, we can't reach the campaign owners they canceled their email domain and stopped to answer even by phone, indiegogo should enter in contact with owners forcing them to respect the ToS and take legal action against them, also block any new campaign of the same individuals.
Yet they simply wash their hands, and the statement "Contributions made through Indiegogo are transactions that take place between the campaign owner, contributor, and payment processor and are non-refundable by Indiegogo, as stated in our Terms of Use (www.indiegogo.com/about/terms)" is a blatant lie, indiegogo receive a share of 4% total all money raised, in this case over $10,000.00, that by itself means the payment must pass [redacted] indiegogo if that isn't proof enough all my paypal payments receipt are for [redacted]@indiegogo.com, not to any of the campaign owners nor their business name Soap Inc. my payments were made to indiegogo, they got at least $19.oo of my contribution alone, which means a paid them for a service they didn't provide.
Also in this pre-made response failed do acknowledge my second and third demands, none of them related to refunds, that make me believe that this just another prepared copy n'paste response with no concern to customers.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2015/04/08) */

That said, we appreciate this customers thoughts on Indiegogo's position as an open platform. Indiegogo offers a space for innovation and discovery. Instead we provide a platform where people who are passionate [redacted] their ideas can connect with funders who believe in their vision. It's a core part of our ethos as a business and we vehemently stand by this belief. Our customers deserve the opportunity to fund ideas they believe in. The crowd is entitled to decide, eyes wide open, what concepts they want to have a part in trying to advance.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2015/04/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
That's not a resolution that is barely a excuse, I didn't asked for Indiegogo ad or now-it-works explanation, stop copy n' paste PR [redacted]! Yet another response telling that they don't care what happens if they receive the money, and once again they mention the term of use, the very same one that states Campaign Owners must deliver or refund, yet they did't care to ban/block the new scam campaign, nor take any action against those criminal that violated more than once the ToU, now they vanished from the face of earth leaving hundreds contributors without money or perks.
It's a shame Revdex.com can't help more, not their fault, this a case for San Francisco Attorney General.
If anyone read this NEVER use indiegogo, after they take their cut you are by your own IGG will not lift a finger for any money related problem. Except if you are Campaign Owners them go for it, they let you do any scam.
