Review: I was contacted approximately two weeks ago by a gentleman name Jim C[redacted], a sales representative from Industrial Chem lab. I was informed of a odor eliminating product and they attempted to sell the product to me. I specifically stated that I cannot order from any vendor which is not contracted with my management company. He proceeded to tell me he believed they do sell their product to some of our other properties. I still told him no, we are a small property there is really no need for it we already have odor eliminating products. He then told me [redacted]" assuming this was a sample because that is how he worded it, I said yes. Next thing I know there are two gallons of it delivered to me and I'm being invoiced for over $100 for the product. I have attempted calling them multiple times giving them the chance to make their "scam" right and they will not help. The end result is "I" am going to have to pay money out of "my" pocket to return a product "I" NEVER ordered. They refuse to cover the return shipping and actually attempted a SECOND time to resell me their product by making me keep the product and simply discounting the invoice. I notified them that was NOT an option. I did not order the product and I should not have to spend any money out of MY pocket to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement: I would like the invoice adjusted to $0 since we did not order the product and for them to cover return shipping, which they informed me would be my duty to pay.

Review: Industrial Chem Labs sent us chemicals that we never ordered. They won't take them back. They are charging us 114.11.

They did call and gather personal information about one of our employees. They are using this information as evidence that this employee ordered the product. This employee never orders and is not authorized to order supplies. Industrial Chem Labs used this same tactic at another nursing home where I worked.

This company preys on nursing homes and other government funded institutions.Desired Settlement: The bill needs to be removed. We won't pay for shipping or for the product.

I want to go on the record and complain about Industrial Chem Labs. They are trying to fraudulently. bill a State Veterans Home and skim money that has been set aside for vulnerable veterans and for our seniors.

In the over seven years that I have been a nursing home Administrator, this the second complaint that I have made to the Revdex.com in any state. The first complaint was also against Industrial Chem Labs.

Review: This company called and offered to send a sample of their product, then they sent more and more, we did not want it so we called them to say we were not interested and the representative ranted and raved about having talked to my boss and that he loved the product and that he asked for more, and I don't know what I am talking about, when I said my boss was standing right next to me, the man on the phone said that he spoke with him and that he must have changed his mind and no they would not take the product back. Then they still sent more, so I called and the man I spoke with was rude again, I asked them to arrange for pick up and he finally said fine send it back, so we did, now we are getting billed for the solutions.Desired Settlement: No further communication with or from this company, and credit the account so that we no longer receive any type of invoice. Oh and notify others of this companies pour business practices.

However, there was no MSD for the product so it was not used, shortlythereafter an invoice arrived for the “sample” [redacted] asked for the invoiceto be paid, but he would not accept any further shipments from thiscompany. When the second package arrived, I called the company and askedthem to pick up the package as it was not ordered, this was met with a veryupset salesman who yelled at me over the phone and told me that [redacted] had indeedordered the product and that [redacted]’s boss must have told him to send itback. I again asked for the shipping return information and was told no,I explained that we would not be paying for this product as it was not orderedand that it would need to be picked up. When it was not picked up, it wasarranged for it to be shipped back, as this office is very small we do not keeprecords of outgoing shipments, so there is no documentation of same, but theitem was returned to the best of my knowledge. When the invoice arrived,I again attempted to reach the company this time via e-mail, to explain thesituation and did not receive any response. Since filing this claim I have received two phone calls, one asking if I returned theproduct and asking for proof that I did so, the second phone call included ahumble apology asking for me to remove the complaint. During the secondphone call there was no mention of the invoice only apologies, the product wasreturned, and the invoice should be credited whether the claim is removed ornot.

Review: Someone initial as ** sales person called at [redacted], who wants to sell the air freshener product. [redacted](myself) ask him do you have linen fresh product? He said we have similar product like linen fresh. I said if you have linen fresh only, I am interested. He did not say that he has linen fresh. Review: Our business was contacted by a salesman from Industrial Chem Labs who tried to sell odor control products. The salesman was told that all orders or purchases had to go through the board of directors of the business and that if they were interested our business would call Industrial Chem Labs back. The salesman was also told specifically not to place any orders or send any product unless he received a call back from our business. We never called Industrial Chem Labs back and never ordered any product. However, a couple weeks later the product arrived anyway and so did an invoice for the product and shipping for $111.36. We immediately called the salesman back directly and told him the issue and asked to have the product picked up. We were told that was impossible but that they would deduct the shipping costs for us. We said that was unacceptable because we did not order the product nor did we want the product. We offered to ship it back ourselves and were told that it would just be shipped back to us at triple the cost. We asked to speak to a [redacted] and one got on the phone and said he would look into the issue and would email or call within two days. We have received no email or call to date. We called them back again several days later and were told that everyone we asked to speak to were out of the office or unavailable. We emailed and mailed them a letter explaining the problem and have still heard nothing back. We are not responsible for the product or the shipping of the product and we want the bill cleared and the product picked up. We also do not want to be contacted by Industrial Chem Labs ever again once this issue is resolved. Our business is a non-profit museum and we are very careful what we spend our money on and the product is not something we would ever purchase. Our resources are limited and we do not appreciate being taken advantage of by a company with such underhanded practices.Desired Settlement: We want the product picked up or the ability to ship it back at their cost. We want the invoice cleared with a zero balance for a product we never ordered or wanted from a company who originally called us rather than one we sought out or contacted.

Review: We are being sent product that we did not order from this business and when I called to tell them that I was sending this back as it was never ordered I was told that they would refuse the product. Review: Industrial Chem Labs for the second year in a row will send us sewer cleaner product that was not ordered and then bill us. Their bill states all sales are final to try to scare you into just paying it. They somehow seem to find a name of someone who use to work here and state that they ordered it. I have caught them lying quite a few times. When confronted they get belligerent and state someone higher up gave the ok to the order. According to post on the internet this is their method of operating.Desired Settlement: Having them pay for the return of the product and never sending us any thing in the future.

Then on Sept. **, 2013 [redacted] called and informed [redacted] he was returning the product and to note the account to never be shipped again, which [redacted] did. ICL then received this complaint which contradicts what [redacted] stated the day before. ICL has already paid the expense for freight to deliver his product; ICL is the only party losing money on this sale.

Review: Industial Chem Labs delivered product that based on a phone call but was NOT ordered and refuses to take the product back. I can't even ship it UPS without the proper return label from them. When contacted they put me through to 5 differant people without any resolution, they said they'd credit $20.00 but if not paid they will send us to collections. This company is commiting phone scams and must be stopped!Desired Settlement: I'm requesting a UPS label for product return and a letter stating no balance due.

[redacted] stated he does the purchasing and works with the products. They discussed the carpet cleaner prior to it leaving our facility. Nothing was done unethically. [redacted] was informed of the price, quantity and terms, he was never told anything was free. ICL is willing to remove the freight leaving a remaining balance of $239.70.

This company is a fraud. They send products that were never ordered and charge outrageous prices. The representative is very rude and not helpful. There should be a law against doing what these people do

Review: I'm the [redacted] of an apartment complex. A few months ago, I got a phone call asking for the name of the person responsible for purchasing for maintenance at the building. We gave his name and said he was on vacation. A few weeks later we got a 25-lb package of sewer cleaner by UPS, which the maintenance man signed for thinking that someone purchased it while he was on vacation. We received an invoice for the product charging us $131. We emailed Chem Labs stating that we never ordered such a product and asked to return it. The salesman told us that all sales are final, that we ordered the product (which was simply not true). They had phished the information in order to scam us. We decided to pay for the product and take the loss, even though we didn't need sewer cleaner, and disposed of the product.

A week later, I received a phone call from their salesman, [redacted], saying that the package we received was only half of the order, and that the other half was sitting in LA ready to be delivered. I told him we didn't order it and didn't want it, but he said it was already paid for. He insisted that it needed to be delivered. A few days later, the second package arrived at our office, addressed to our maintenance man. We then received another invoice for $131. We called the company and talked to [redacted] and asked him why we were being charged for a product he said was already paid for. He said it was a misunderstanding, that he never said it was paid for. I told him we don't use this product, our complex is not responsible for sewer cleaning, and nobody at the office made the purchase. He said he would remove our names from his sales list after we paid. We never asked to be on his list in the first place!

Bottom line, I don't know whether their product is good or not, but their sales practices are unethical. They make false sales, ship products that weren't ordered, refuse to accept returns, and then threaten you with collections if you don't pay up.Desired Settlement: The company must stop shipping products that were not ordered, should accept returns for such products without charge, fire unethical salespersons, and train sales staff in better practices.

Review: We received a package from the company today that was not ordered by our Maintenance Supervisor nor authorized by Management. This is the second time they sent this identical package where they made up some dialogue that they claim took place with Maintenance about a case of liquid odor control. When Industrial Chem Labs & Services was contacted they have threatened to refuse a return from us. They stated our Maintenance Supervisor wanted a rush on this item because he returned from a six week medical leave due to foot surgery for interior and exterior odor problems. Our Maintenance Supervisor never took medical leave, and our company policy requires an approved purchase order before ordering any item. In return, I stated you cannot force a company to accept an item they did not order under false pretenses. They company is very hard to deal with. They are very unreasonable, nasty, rude, and refuse to admit they falsified this information.Desired Settlement: We would like to return this item free of charge, and Industrial Chem Labs & Services MUST remove our name and contact information from their records. We will not accept anymore calls or packages from this company. Clearly they prefer to sell merchandise unethically and this must be their normal business practice. We will have no part of this.

Review: We received a box of "sewer cleaner" that we did not order. I called the "business" for the second time (we also received "degreaser" in the past) after receiving an invoice for the item that was never ordered. They said that they called our office and spoke to the maintenance supervisor (he does not work out of our office and has also confirmed he never placed the order) and that he verified the order. Review: Upon calling and asking about what we use for odor control, the salesperson told me the odor neutralizer we were using is toxic. He indicated theirs was so safe you could drink it. He offered to send 2 containers ($79.90) with no up front payment. When I received the product there were warning labels on it for inhalation, consumption, eyes, skin. There was also a $24.86 delivery charge that I was not aware of. When I emailed company my provider tried emailing for multiple days and it was never deliverable. When I tried online chat, no matter how long I waited, no one came on. I called, the girl said she would look up my order, sent me back to a sales person who said "even [redacted] has warnings" then told me I had to talk to a supervisor to return. I was hung up on. I called back a second time, the [redacted] sent me back the sales person who again said how safe the product is, even though I talked about the warning labels. He said he would send me documentation on safety and never did. Review: I was contacted by a representative of this company, he was trying to sell me a deodorizer, I told him we were using what we use in our facility and had no problems with it. He finally after quite some time on the phone said he would send me a couple of gallons to try and see if we liked it, I told him to go ahead and send them, we would try it. He kept calling and asking how we liked it, I told him we went back to using our product. The other day he called and said he was sending the rest of my order I told him I did not order anything. They sent 6 galloons of product @ $39.95 per galloon plus shipping and handling fees of $73.08. When we received this invoice we called them on their 800 number on Sunday and got no response. I called them this morning Monday and told them the invoice number was told that their representative was on the phone and they would have him call me back when he was of the phone that was at around 9:00 this morning it is now 1:45 so I took it I would not here from them, so I contacted you.Desired Settlement: Wish to send them back their product and have them pay to have it shipped back, have not open the box that was shipped.

Review: I agreed to 2 gal (This was their only size option for shipping they said) of a chemical to assist in cleaning and Odor control on a trial basis. In the 30 trial if we did not like the product or it did not work they would pick it up, and not charge anything. There was no payment required and no charge for the return, as they believed in their product. I accepted this trial/test of their product and felt it would work for my needs. Upon arrival of the product I immediately noticed a very strong citrus scent coming from the box. I didn't even have to open it. I called the company they advised me that I could dilute it down to the amount comfortable. We tried the smallest amount by their standards and it did not control the odor it only masked it with the orange scent. I can not use this in my guest rooms, it took way to long for the orange odor to dissipate, and the original odor is still there. I don't want to replace one odor with another. I called the company and they are refusing to pick up the product, despite the verbal agreement I had with them. I would not agree to purchase a product im not familiar with. I have never used Industrial Chem Labs products prior to this experience but agreed to a 30 day trial.

I have spoke with the company on many occasions and continue getting the run around. At one point they agreed to pick it up and would have to get back to me regarding the Return Merchandise Authorization. That never happened, they have not return any phone calls, and have yet to pick up the product.

To summarize:

Agreement for Trial basis was denied after I did not like their product.

Scent to strong to use, due to sensitivity of our guests and staff.

Product did not perform as described (Only masked the odor not removed it)

Unethical business practices. (Strong arming, pushy, rescinding offers, Not upholding agreements, even threatening collections.

Refusal to uphold agreements, and stating that we agreed to something else

Adding All Sales are Final to invoice when again this was a trial basis.

I spoke with [redacted] today 3/**/15, because I received yet another invoice, whom Offered to settle the account by waiving the shipping cost of $24.86 or Void the invoice if I return the product.

I called back and ask for [redacted]'s supervisor I got [redacted] whom only offered to waive the shipping and settle the account. He said this is because we signed for the package making us liable Then demanded my supervisor, to which I advised their is not one and that is irrelevant to this situation. I agreed to the trial basis of 30 days, I know what I agreed to and the agreement is not being upheld.

This product has continued to sit in my office sealed and awaiting pick up. I also can not use this product with out having a Material Safety Data Sheet which was not included in the shipment.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology, I would like the company to Take back their product at their cost and stop sending me Invoices for a product that I did not agree to purchase.

Review: The restaurant was having problems with their drains. [redacted] of the restaurant was told by a vendor "[redacted]" to give Industrial Chem Lab a call for their product. Since that time [redacted] from Industrial Chem Lab placed calls to our store [redacted]. He would call her and state that her order was ready for delivery and she would simply say okay not knowing that no one had authorized the order. Since [redacted] placed the original order of 25 pounds, when [redacted] would call [redacted] was lead to believe that [redacted] had placed the order. [redacted] continued to do this and would then increase the size of the orders, which lead [redacted] to call [redacted] and find out if he placed the orders because we had so much on hand and were overstocked. [redacted] said after the first order he never placed any additional orders. So the initial order for 25 lbs was the only authorized order in September 2014. [redacted] sent 50 lbs out in November, 100 lbs in December 100, pounds in January, and then 200 pounds in February. I called [redacted] today and told him that none of these orders were authorized. He said [redacted] had placed the orders and authorized them. I told him no you called [redacted] and told her that her order was ready. I told him we would not pay the invoice for 906.96 and that he was free to pick up the order. He had offered [redacted] a reduced rate. I once again told him we would not paying for the invoice and he could pick up the product. He told me that I didn't have a choice but he would give me 1 final offer. He told me I could pay to return the product to him and he would only charge me a 20% restocking fee. We have received and paid for 275 lbs of sewer cleaner. I do not feel this Industrial Chem Lab has been honest and that there business practices are deplorable. I would like for them to pick up the 200lbs of product that they delivered on 2/[redacted]/15.Desired Settlement: I would like them to pick up there product and issue a credit for Invoice #[redacted] in the amount of $906.96. I would also request that they never call our business again.
