Review: I was contacted by [redacted] of Industrial Chem Labs by phone and asked to try a FREE sample of eliminator (weed killer). I explained to [redacted] that I would try the free sample, but I was not authorized to make any purchase without prior approval or a purchase order number. I explained this several times to [redacted]. He said all they would send would be a sample and if we found it to be useful we could order the product. I received the product and a bill for $119.90.

When I contacted Chem Labs to clear up the matter and get info to send product back to his company, he refused to help me saying it would be turned over to collections if not paid. I stated as in our earlier phone conversation that I was told it was a free sample and it would be sent as such and that I had no authority to place an order. He was unwilling to help and gave no resolution to the situation. Basically his position was, we either pay for the product or face a lawsuit. They continue to bill us and have called numerous times becoming increasingly unprofessional. Consumer beware of this company promising free samples when indeed we found out they are not free. This company has over 245 complaints filed with the Revdex.com in the last 12 months, all similar to mine.Desired Settlement: We do not owe money for a product that was said to be a FREE sample. We would like to return the product, have all charges removed, and to NEVER be contacted by this fradulant company again.

Review: In February, [redacted] with Industrial Chem Labs called to tell me that he had an odor control product we might like. He said he would send me two gallons for us to try and delay billing for 30 days to make sure we like the product. He also said he would be including a catalog so we could call and order more as he was sure we would love it. We received the 2 gallons and 30 days later the bill. I paid that bill. Last Friday (April **) we received a call that only a partial shipment was sent and they have sent the rest of the order and as a courtesy would hold the bill until the end of May and would be sending a catalog as well. I was not at work when the call came in so they left that message. No one has ever authorized any more to be purchased. I have had this scam happen before so when I talked to them in February I was very careful about the conversation to make sure I asked if I would be expected to pay for any more product. I was assured I would not be. I have called 3 times today. The first time [redacted] took my original invoice number and said he had to look into it and would call me back. The second time, he was at lunch. The third time he was "still" on the phone. I don't believe he will call me back. I will keep calling. If any product shows up, I will be refusing is as well. If I receive a bill I will not pay it.Desired Settlement: I would like them to take back the 2nd shipment with no charges and I would like them to stop contacting me! We will not be ordering anything from them.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved pending we do receive the call tag and the item does get returned with the bill removed. I have called several times and have not been able to get them to call me back. They said they spoke to me on the [redacted] and they actually spoke to [redacted] and [redacted] because I was not at work on that date so their statement is in error.

Review: I received a call from Industrial Chem labs, the telemarketer wanted to send a sample of carpet cleaning solution. I told him we were not ordering anything, he agreed several times that it was free. I received a invoice about a week later. I called them and was transferred to the same sales guy that called me initially. He denied everything and would not give me his [redacted] name.Desired Settlement: We never opened the carpet cleaning solution and would like to return it. The fictitious invoice was for $111.11.

Review: We order some liquid concrete cleaner from a sales man he promissed that it would do the work and if it would not he would make it right. We ordered the stuff over a year and half ago the sales man call to see how it was working and we tolded him that is does not work and fhe did nothing. We did receive a invoice a few time and I have called them about the stuff. This week we recieved another invoice and I called them to ask what do we need to do to send it back. The lady on the phone said that it is over a year and half ago we do not take back. She got a little up set with me in which I was back to her. She said that no has call them about it which I have. So neither of us have notes that anyone has called. Review: I was contacted on the phone in February 2013 by a sales rep trying to get me to sample his cleaning product. I clearly stated that I was under contract with a different chemical company and that I would not be purchasing his product even if I liked the sample. He insisted that I try it and assured me there would be no obligation to buy.

I received a 2-gallon sample of the product, which was followed with an invoice shortly after.

I called the company on 2 separate occasions explaining to the receptionist that there was clearly a mistake in sending the bill given that I had accepted the sample product with the understanding that I would not be purchasing it. The receptionists were always kind but I was never called by anyone to follow up with the issue. Since then I continue to receive invoices from the company.

Today, September **, 2013 I spoke once again to a receptionist who sent me through to a man named [redacted], who is apparently some sort of [redacted]. He proceeded to tell me that in fact I had agreed to the 2 gallons of product and an invoice and that if I did not pay it he would send it to collections. He also told me that he had notes from my conversation and that I had asked the sales rep if they had samples , to which he replied, "absolutely not". Obviously, that was a lie. My assumption on the phone was always that this man was sending me samples since that is how normal businesses operate. If I had truly asked whether or not they had samples and the response had been "no" I clearly would never have agreed to "sampling". [redacted] was rude and obnoxious and I have never experienced first-hand such sketchy, unethical business practices. Hang up your phone if anyone ever calls you from Industrial Chem Labs.Desired Settlement: I would like them to zero out my balance on their books and stop sending me invoices or trying to reach me at all.

Dear Sir or Madam,

The product was presented as a sample. I NEVER would have agreed to pay for any of it given that I am under contract already with a chemical supplier. There was never any discussion whatsoever about cost of anything. If he had mentioned the cost at all (given that it is expensive product) it would have been one more reason for me not to want the product. The shady business practice they use is pushing what is cloaked as a sample (using phrases like "try it") when in fact they send you product and then demand payment. I would love to hear the recorded version of these conversations, which of course don't exist because they know they would be held liable. I will not pay them on principle alone. They need do honest business like the rest of us.

Review: I work at a apartment complex in Mesa, AZ. I was contacted by a rep from Industrial Chem Labs. He was very pushy and wanted to speak with a previous employee. I advised him that the person was not with our property any longer.

He told me that we had done business with him previously and that the sewer cleaner was a product the previous maintenance supervisor was using a was sending 1 out. I have now received over 100 lbs of this product that I don't need at all. I called the company and was told I couldn't return it, NO exceptions. I did not want this product, Do Not Use it and from what I have researched on this company, this is the exact scam they have used on may others before me. I want to return the product and to never receive any other calls from them. Also they have sent 2 billings. The first bill was for $244.47 and was paid, now I have received another for $497.47. This is unethical business practices. I want to return this product and also to get my previous payment refunded to me.Desired Settlement: We want to return all product with Industrial Chem Labs paying to return it. We want are money refunded for first Invoice in the amount of $244.47. Also want the 2nd invoice to be deleted and to have Zero balance with this company. Review: I was cold called by a representative and was told that he would give me a small amount to get started at no cost. He told me to try it out for a couple of weeks then he would get back with me to see if I liked it and wanted to order more. I said okay. I received 25 pounds of drain cleaner and a few days later a bill for $123.11. I called the company and spoke with a [redacted]". He did nothing about it. When I refused to pay the bill, he threatened me and said I will come down there to get my money.Desired Settlement: I would like to return the item and cancel the bill. I still have the merchandise in its original packaging in its packaging box.

Review: I received a call about two weeks ago from this company. They told me another person working here had called them regarding pricing questions for some concrete chemicals. I later found this was a lie. He then offered me a free sample to try and explicitly said I would not be charged. Stupidly I agr[redacted] and give him my name and the address for the apartment complex. After doing some research on Industrial Chem Labs I soon learned it was a scam and numerous others had the same story as I. Today I received a box from [redacted] with the sample inside. Inside are two big gallons of chemicals which they intend to charge me for. There is no return label so if I want to return it they are making me pay for shipping. This company sent an order for us of over $600 in liquid deodorizer. We did not order the product. They kept billing us and calling us about the bill. They got nasty on the phone about it, threatening to contact our managers and have us fired. When we wanted to return the product to them they said there was a restocking fee that would run just under $500.

In the end, we paid the $120 to return the product to them and told them we don't want to hear from them ever again.

Review: 10 gallons of disinfectant was never ordered or received by our company. Review: This company doesn't seem to be able to sell thier product so they just keep falsely pushing their product to the consumer and incorrectly billing them. Spoke to [redacted] in march regarding 2 gallons of odor control that was sent to my property and he informed me he had no record of it being shipped to me and I would not be charged for it. I knew something was not right and did not use any of the product he shipped. A few weeks later I got an invoice from him trying to bill me for the odor control. When I spoke to him about it he began accusing me of being a liar and called me a [redacted] and that threatened to come and pour some chemicals in my drain when he came into town in a few weeks. I called the company back to file a complaint only to speak to him again. He claimed he was the [redacted] and again accused me of being a liar. Review: Customer service rep. contacted me telling me that he could offer a chemical to help with odor control. I told him I wasn't interested, however he continued to push the subject. He told me he would send me a sample to try and if I liked it then I would be able to contact him to place an order. However when he sent the "sample" it was 2 gallon sized jugs and a week or so later I received a bill for both the jugs and shipping charges. I contacted the [redacted] on 2 different occasions. He was unable to give me any information and said that he would talk with someone else and get back to me. Review: They called to offer a free sample of a product, "SNO-MELT" to our maintenance staff. When our staff told them they would not be able to purchase anything without approval of the [redacted], the salesman said they would just send a sample. The product was received and then an invoice was sent for $157.71. When I called to discuss the charges, March **, 2015 at 11:30 am; they tried to bully me into paying immediately. They threated if I didn't pay the invoice at once, they would put a lien on the property, sue our maintenance staff, and sue me personally for not paying the bill. They repeatedly threatened legal action if the invoice was not resolved immediately. They were extremely aggressive. When I continued to assert that we did not order the product and it was represented as a sample, they just continued to threaten legal action. It was not possible to come to an agreement over the phone.Desired Settlement: I am happy to return their product, at their expense, and I would like the bill removed from our account.

Review: In May 2014 it came to my attention that the [redacted] of the [redacted], had ordered a product from this company and a bill had arrived for 99.90. On May ** I called the company and paid the bill with a debit card. I told the person who took the payment that the order was not authorized, I wasn't sure why it had been ordered, and we have no use for this product.

That [redacted] was replaced in May. In late October, [redacted] from Industrial Chem, Inc. called the current [redacted] and said that he would be sending the "remainder of the order" and there would be no charge. The order was received and a bill follow shortly for $279.53. I called the company and told them that we did not order the product and we would send it back if they paid the shipping ($58.13), he refused this option. I talked with [redacted], who I was told was the [redacted], and he also refused to pay for the shipping to return the product. We heard nothing until yesterday when we received a bill for $279.53.

Summary, they lied about it being the "already purchased remainder of the order",sent a product that was not ordered and refused to make arrangements to send it back.

PS On the next page all of the dates which were chosen are approximate.Desired Settlement: When they send a pre-paid shipping voucher, we will return the product. We have no intention of paying this bill.

Review: In late January/early Feb. 2015, we received 25 lbs of sewer cleaner from Industrial Chem Labs, plus an invoice for $118.36. We did not order this product. When I called the company on 2/**/15, the sales rep, [redacted], told me he had spoken by phone with my maint. sup. [redacted] , recounting sentence by sentence a phone conversation that never took place, in which my maint. sup. supposedly agreed to try this product. My maint. sup. never spoke to anyone from Industrial Chem Labs, and no one else answers that phone. After a heated exchange, I obtained the name of his boss, [redacted]. I reported the above details to [redacted] on 2/**/15. He said he would open an investigation and call me on Tuesday, Feb. [redacted], with his findings. When I didn't get a phone call on 2/**, I called [redacted] today, Feb. [redacted] now says that he was also on that sales call to my maint. sup., and recounted the same play-by-play fabricated phone conversation. I angrily told [redacted] that their company was trying to scam us, and that I would not be paying the invoice. I told them that if they wanted their product back, they could send a return label and arrange for pick up. I will not spend a dime nor any of my time to arrange the return of their product.

My maint. sup. would have no reason to do so, as he is not required to obtain my approval on every purchase he makes. Review: We received an unsolicited order for Agriculture Chemicals from a Industrial Chem Lab of [redacted]. When we were called by a salesman our representative, [redacted] informed their salesman that we didn't need any of their products. The representative said," Well we will send you a small sample to try." No price was ever discussed or disclosed. [redacted] closed by saying, we don't need any of your product.

Three days later, on * July 2014 we discovered a shipment at our door. We do not want this product. When calling their sales representative, he informed us that he would turn this over to an attorney and try to harm our credit rating. When we threaten him with a complaint to the New York business bureau, he said, " The only way he would take it back is if we paid for shipping both ways, and a 20% restocking fee. These people have nothing with our signature or consent.

We don't want their product. We have at least 4 chemical distributors in our neighborhood. Why would we want to pay for this product being shipped from New York?Desired Settlement: We don't want the product. We don't want to pay for it to be returned. We want a UPS call tag. No charge to us.

Review: Several boxes of Liquid Carpet Cleaner showed up on property. Something we do not use nor have ordered. 4 invoices for the product has been received, and before we realized the issue, two of these were paid, totalling $409.17. Two additional invoices totalling $808.67 will not be paid. I have called trying to find out where this came from and why it has been sent to us and where to return it, only to have been treated very rudly and told all sales are final.Desired Settlement: I have no need or use for this product. I want the 4 large boxes picked up and a refund of the $409.17 that has been paid.

This is a total scam and I don't even know how they did this to us.

Cleaner prior to it leaving our facility. ICL will not refund for the preivous deliveries. From a customer service perspective ICL will authorize a UPS call tag. Please have the customer place the product in a card board box and ready for pick up within the next 3-5 business days.

It is not possible that they spoke with [redacted] in April because the first invoice was dated back in February. And [redacted] is a laundry attendant who does not do any ordering of supplies, nor has the authority to place any orders. [redacted] has reported that she never spoke with anyone from this company.

I wish to return this product and receive a refund.

If you could please check your records, we returned 16 bottles. The first day UPS picked up 2 cases, 12 bottles, then the next day UPS picked up 4 more.

According to UPS they only picked up the two packages that were authorized. One package was 59 lbs (6 gallons) and one for 38 lbs (4 gallons) I have attached the proof of delivery for those packages as well as the pick up. [redacted] would need to provide proof or place a claim the UPS that she returned more than what ICL authorized.

Review: Company called said they were sending a free sample of the product. Received two gallons of product and a bill for $98.86. Called told them I was to receive a free sample not an order and to arrange to pick up the product. Company refuses to pick up product and continues to bill for product that was not ordered.Desired Settlement: Want the company to pick up their product and stop all billing and collection activity.
