May *, The enrollment was confirmed by a signed sales agreement and third-party verification (TPV) callBoth pieces of verification stated that the customer was enrolling in a fixed rate planWe have reviewed the voice recording of *** *** ***, declaring that he is authorized to make decisions on the account, agrees to the fixed rate, stated the amount, and understood that there was an ETF for cancellation prior to the natural expiration of the month agreementThe application and the TPV clearly state the fixed rate and the customer has been charged that rate for his entire billing history, therefore it is unclear how the customer now rationally claims a “bait and switch” “breach of contract” or “Green Dot Scam” or any other form of misrepresentation, when a basic math equation proves the oppositeA cancellation request was logged on March **, and a cancellation request was submitted to the utility on that dateThe utility effectuated a service change on March **, for the electric account and April *, for the gas account Sincerely, Customer Service Representative

Obviously this representative completely ignored the point of me complainingI am not not stupid I know energy costs money, The point was their sales person falsely advertised what they were offeringShe did not discuss with me any of the rates and what I would have to pay if I exceeded a certain energy rateI found this out when I called to cancelThis is not about me trying to get moneyThis company is crooked and takes people for foolsAs I said before the sales person, who knocked on my door did not at any point inform me of the information this representative didTo imply that I am foolish enough to think they were were supplying free energy for life is an insult to my intelligenceNo I do not think its was free for life, but I would never agree to something that was going to cause m energy bill to triple each monthI am done with this issue, I just wish that this be made public so others do not get scammed like me

[Your Answer I didn't speak with this company regarding payment yesterday ]i spoke to the manager supposedly. This company has the ability to create supervisor and manager that is what I have been dealing with, with major Energy Services LLC. I was told that my check was mailed on January 19/2018 by Asia, then Alicia told it was mailed on January 26,2018. Then I was told there financial office is in Texas it would be approximately 2 to 4 weeks. So I don't trust anything this company says my identity was used by this without permission then they used my husband's identity to open another account. They are not to be trusted. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:  The organization claims it launched an investigation back in Dec 2015 when I reached out and expressed my dissatisfaction. Major Energy forgot to include that their rates are much higher than that I'd [redacted], and the salespeople will say anything to the customers to close a sale.  I was told that Major Energy is competitive with all energy providers in addition to being coached in how to respond to the third party verification. They never mentioned that in their responses. How I was coached on how to respond, and was told everything would be fine; by the sales man.  I never claimed a bait and switch, and if that is what Major energy and their attorneys extract from my previous grievance that speaks on how they are attempting to make me seem like I'm not being straight forward.  i do not have a motive to invent foolish tales; I'm just speaking the truth. Major Enegy practices unethical behaviors if my neighbors had the means and resources they would all say the same thing.

 I reject this reply. I was assured by the Sales representative that the cost of my bill would be lower than what I was currently paying at Con-Ed, however upon reviewing my bills, I was paying more than I should. You essentially charged me on top of what Con-Ed was charging for Electricity supply. Basically double, I ended up being $70+ worst off than if I was to have stuck with Con-Ed Alone. So how has your company maintained your end of the contract? Also it's rather difficult to call your information line since it continuously has a pre-recorded voicemail telling me that i'm calling outside of office hours when i'm calling within M-F 9-5.

 let's be clear the company's response addresses the verification process, they did not deny that an email was dispatched to their public relations department on or about 10/*/15, addressing the "Illegal" tactics utilized by their representative. The contract in question was nullified by these tactics. The field representative for this company willfully utilized illegal sales practices in order to dupe unknowing customer's to switch services. When this representatives conduct was brought to the attention of his employer  Major Energy Services, the contract in question was voided. As such NO fees should have been rendered.  Upon further investigation this company has a history of utilizing these practices in order to obtain new business, the local supplier [redacted] is well aware of this on going issue with the above company.
