Refund check not received after a month!! I had an extended car warranty that I purchased through CarMax, that went on my car loan with Exeter that was paid off in April In November of 2017, I initiated a refund through CarMaxI was informed by CarMax that the refund would go to Exeter,and then to meI informed them that I have a new addressThey informed me to add my address info at the bottom of their request form and sign, and they would forward that information to Exeter and that my refund would be sent to my new address I called Exeter on 12/05/17, they confirmed my new address and told me my refund was approved on 12/04/and to expect the check in the mail in 7-business daysI called again on the 14th and inquired as no check had comeThis next person said they didn't have my address on file and was sent to my old addressI asked for them to overnight to me or direct deposit, which they refusedI called again on the 20th and was informed they mailed out th

Lacking customer service and customer satisfactionCompany refused to assist customer in every way possible On July XX XXXX I was in an accidentCalled the insurance company and went through having the vehicle appraised and documents submitted to the insurance companyThe check for repairs was sent out within weeksI then find out that the check has to be endorsed by the finance company because they are the leinholder on the vehicleI then have the check overnighted to the company and then they inform me that I must have the work completed and pictures sent to them of the work before they will release the check to the body shopThere is no shop that I know of that will do the work and release a vehicle not knowing wether they will get paidSo the finance company let me know that I could call the insurance company back and have them re-issue the check to the body shop and myselfSo I got back on the phone with the insurance company whereas they said that they can't do that

Pay off In March of I called and got a payoff for my vehicle I than sent the check for that amount After quite some time I never received my title so I called and they said I still had over $left to pay off I spoke with a supervisor and he said the gentleman that I spoke with did not provide me with the right information He said he would speak to his supervisor to get the matter cleared up I have been contacting them regarding this and have gotten no where My account has continued to accrue interest and they will not honor my first payoff quote I want to get my title for my car and have this matter closed

Company failing to correct error in reporting Ive spoken to them several times and they said they would send an update however none was sent

unauthorized credit inquiry After viewing a copy of my consumer report, I noticed an unauthorized inquiry from Exeter FinanceI contacted the credit bureaus about this and they informed me I would need to contact the company to resolve the issueI called Exeter Finance and they informed me that they do not deal with these issuesI have a fraud alert on my credit report, so in order for someone to run my credit they need to contact me, which no one ever didThe credit bureaus also informed me that they only report what the companies relay; meaning Exeter finance requested my credit information without my consent, ignoring the fraud alert, and will need to issue a letter stating it is ok for the credit bureaus to remove the inquiry from my credit report

Inaccurate Credit Reporting On 04/03/this company reported I am over days late for my 05/monthly car paymentI traded this vechile (Nissan Rogue) on 05/01/and the check with closing payment of $12,was sent to Exeter Finance on 05/04/Exeter Finance failed to cash check until 04/07/after I enquired about negative reportMy credit decreased by 100pts subsequent to this reportI also provided them with documentation that the check was sent month before they cashed it and still even after I made several calls and emails, Exeter Finance refused to correct their errorI also have a credit dispute opened with Credit Bureau on this matterI am also owed $as excess paid to close balance on the loan and Exerter is refusing to actually this as it would indicate the loan was paid in full and on time
