I was told when I began my loan that amounts paid would apply towards interest and principalI made several payments that went towards interest only I have made several payments that were less than the entire monthly payment but was paid in addition to the monthly paymentSome of this should have went towards both interest and principle as I am trying to pay this loan off quicker to save on the outrageous interest rateI was told that I could do this when I started the loan and until recently learned that this was not the caseI have paid my car loan up until August 2017, however, I made small payments and the representative told me that since my principle is paid up until August that anything less than the entire payment will only go towards interestWhat would be the reason to pay of this is the case?

I OWED 9621 ON MY CAR AND MYCAR WAS A TOTAL LOSS IN AN CAR ACCIDENT. I ASKED FOR THE PAY OUT WHICH THE ESTIMATED AT 2100K THEY ARE STILL CHARGING INT Mar car was a total loss a the time it was at 9621. I paid 2k ahead of time and now insurrance paid 5661. At the time they estimated 2100 but said the interest would be taken off final pay out. Not only did they not give me a break down yet as it is about a month and a half later, but said they are charging me interest until I pay off this balance. I have not been provided the final letter I am still being charged interest and I repeatedly asked for the final pay out. This is not fair especially when I have not car. and the Insurance has the title. My credit report also has not been updated to reflect my earlier payment.

I have contacted Customer Service and spoke with several different reps & Managers requesting to waive late fees & changing of my payment due date I have contacted customer service so many timesI have ask them why was I approved when they sent me a letter on 5/19/that they where unable to approve meI have also asked them if they could they waiver my late fees so I can catch up with the payment due to the fact that my disability check arrives on the 3rd of each monthEverything I have said and asked for is on recordingNumerous times spoke with a Manager requesting to have my due date changed to the same date my disability check is deposited so I won't have late fees & one Manager told a customer service rep that when I paid the past due amount that all late fees would be waived I have proof of all papers and will be glad to discuss in full detail over the phone
