COMPLAINT REGARDING AMOUNT ADVISED OF BILLING DUE AND DEROGGATORY MARK ON CREDIT
IN CONTACTING EXETER FINANCE ON THE PAYMENT THAT WAS MAILED IN TO THE COMPANY, A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE ADVISED THAT THE ACCOUNT WAS PAID UP TO DATE AND WAS NO LONGER DELINQUENT HE WAS ASKED IF THE COMPANY'S WEBSITE WAS ACCURATE WHERE HE RESPONDED THAT THE SITE NORMALLY DOESN'T CATCH UP THE PAYMENT HOWEVER,THIS GENTLEMAN ADVISED ME THAT WE WERE NO LONGER DAYS DELINQUENT AND THAT THERE WAS SUFFICIENT TIME TO PAY THE LOAN WE RECEIVED A CALL TWICE RECENTLY INDICATING THAT THE LOAN WAS DAYS PAST DUE, AND TO ADD INSULT THE GENTLEMAN WE HAD SPOKEN WITH PLACED NO NOTATION ON THE ACCOUNT I ADVISED "ROBBIE" THAT THERE WAS INCOMPETENCE ON THE PART OF CUSTOMER SERVICE BECAUSE TEHRE WAS NO NOTATION, NO RECORDING, YET THEY ARE MORE THAN WILLING TO NOT RESLOVE THE FACT THAT CREDIT ISSUES HAVE NOW OCCURRED IF THIS COMPANY WOULD TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE LACK ON THEIR PART, THE PROBLEMS THAT ARE AT F

Paid my car off in august it is now October and I still don't have the title
First issue with them was when trying to pay the car off I asked what the remaining balance would be after I sent in a check from my car insurance and they gave me the amount and told me that if I paid the amount that day the car would be paid off when they got the insurance checkUpon them receiving the check they said I still owed them around $so I called and spoke to several people who tried to tell me that even though I was told the car would be paid off I was not correctAfter several days contacting them regarding this and speaking to different supervisors who tried to tell me I had no choice but to pay the $I continued to refuse as it should have been paid offThey finally admitted they were wrong and "wrote off" the "remaining balance" that shouldn't have existed in the first placeThen informed me I would be receiving my title soonAlmost a month later I called back since I hadn't rece

The account with this company was opened fraudulently was told to submit police report and identity theft afidavit and I did that
My identity was stolen and whom ever it was opened a account with exeter finance I made them aware that I did not open this accountthey told me to send over a police report and identifying info on myself and I have dont this numerous time but they keep pretending they did not receive it and I sent it one numerous occasionsif they didn't receive it where did it go and they have no other secure way of me sending these documents I have already been a victim once not trying to be a victim again

My vehicle was repossessed and I was unable to get any information on location of vehicle to retrieve items from said vehicle

I sent a check payment to Exeter on July 12th because the payment was due the 15th (Sunday) I called around the 18th to check if they recit because I hadn't seen it leave my acctWas told to give it a few more days because of the distance, called the following Monday, still hadn'trecvditWas asked if I sent it to Dallas or Irving, I informed I sent it to Dallas, was told that Irving is the HQ and Dallas will probably send it to HQ in a few days, call back next weekCalled the following week and was told it still wasnt recvd, said I'll just cancel the check and pay by cc, was told to give it some timeI expressed concern about by credit being impacted but was told no such thing would happen because I had stayed in contact with them15th had come and finally canceled the check and paid by cc, was told I was all set except a late fee which I am still disputingFind out on 9/my transunion credit was impacted points and eqifax was impacted

Vehicle was traded in and payoff was sent to company Since then payments have come out of my account and I get the run around about a refund
Traded our vehicle in on July 31, Exeter received the payoff from dealership on Aug5, Since then payments totaling $have been taken from our account I have been told twice that the auto payments have been canceled and I have faxed my bank statement to them twice as well This has been going on for about a month now and every time I call them I get a different answer about when I will get a refundI have been told it would take as little as hours and another time I was told days! Identity theft credit report inquiries and fraud
On XX-XX-XXXX and XX-X-XXXX my identity was fraudulently used to obtain a loanI contacted this Exeter Finance Corp to notify them of the illegal activity; investigate; and remove this from my credit reportThey refused and stated I had to contact the Revdex.com

I have been paying on this loan for over years & over $33,on a 16,loan that matures 3/15/& they say I still owe $10,
My account #XXXXXXX I purchased this car in & have paid over on this loan every month I have requested numerous times for a detailed reports showing how my payments r distributed which they refuse to give me Now they say it will be the loan matures on 3/15/& they can not tell me where the $33,I've paid on the car went or why it's showing I still owe 10,I received a letter telling me my loan matures 3/15/& as of 3/16/it will go into repo status I have my bank statements & credit report to show my payment history & their only response is I've been late a few times I've asked to speak w a supervisor & repossession & both refuse my call

Falsely reporting to credit agency
I purchased my vehicle in I have been on time with my payments except for a couple times when I had some issues ariseWhen I contacted Exeter Finance about my loan, I kept receiving different dates about when it would matureIt was a different story everytimeI looked at my credit report and they were reporting to the credit agency since January that I was days late which was falseI paid the car off in October and they are still reporting to the credit agency that my account is delinquent

Never received title to re-financed vehicle from ExeterNEVER received lien releases after MULTIPLE requests
I refinanced my Chrysler in My new lender, Navy Federal requested the updated title with them as the new lien holderThat's when I called Exeter and they said they already sent me the copy of the title to get updatedI told them I never received itFast forward to present, over the past years I have requested MULTIPLE lien releases and the have NEVER sent itI most recently spoke with them on 8/in which they told me they would put it in the mailI STILL have not gotten it! They duplicate payments out of my account multiple times a month and charge late fees when I'm not late
I financed the vehicle on September 15, I was told I wouldn't have a payment due for days making my first payment due October 30, In the meantime, I elected to set up auto payWhen I did that over the phone with a representative I was told it can take up to days for a new auto pay agreement to go thru so if I didn't see the payment taken from my account the day it was due I should call and make a one time post dated debit transaction over the phone the next day to make a payment and keep my account from being lateSo on October 31st, I called in that one time payment however on November 6, my auto pay payment went through thus my account got charged twiceWhen I contacted them about this issue, I was told I could either receive a refund or put the duplicated payment towards Novemeber so I wouldn't have a car payment due again until December which is
