The new website is horribleThey will not address your issue via message (so why have it?)
I have been using the website to set payments and payment arrangement since I've had my vehicle Which has worked well with my busy scheduleEvery now and than I would need to call customer service just to confirm my payments sand they were wonderful and fast Now the website has been challenging at setting up payments ahead of time and all I get is robot response via Messages on their website My work and kids makes it really hard for me to be on the phone for longer than minutes When you do talk to customer service they are rude and say rude comments under their breath like I can't hear them Customer Service used to not be like that They were understanding of my situation and always worked with me so I didn't fall behind Since, the website I have fell behind accrued these extra charges because I fell behind and make it impossible to have other ways to contact them I pre

Exeter account opened has day late and has not been reported since FCRA states an account has to be verified accurate and current and even after we mailed letters to Exeter asking for account original agreement signed and complete transaction history including every single payment, fee and date of phone calls they refuse to provide itALSO the credit has not been currently updated and is violation of FCRA and being reported illegally and in noncompliance to the credit reporting lawsDemand it be deleted at once

I have satisfied my contract of payments This company continues to call me stating that I still owe them a payment

It started in February, I contacted Exeter to get a payment deferred because we were having financial difficultiesThey said that would be okThen took that payment anywayI called them about it, the rep that I spoke with apologized and said that my money would be back in my account in to hoursI waited daysNo money was in my accountI called back and was told that I had to email them my account information, which made no since to me because I had auto pay set up, I was also told that they could not take my info over the phoneSo I went to exeterfinance.com and got an error message saying "page can not be displayed" I called back and talked to a different rep., who told me that they could take my account info over the phone, I was also informed that it would take to business days to get my money backAs a result our electric was shut offI contacted them again and informed them that I was getting

Candice, a collections manager that works out of Irving, *** fraudulently added over $dollars to my account, she changed the rating of my vehicle from great to poor, and this was all because I told her I'm looking to re-finance my vehicleNow when finance officers review my account (which Ive paid on time every month) it says my car isn't in good shape and that I'm not paying payments on timeI contacted Exeter and they stated that there is no way she can make these changesHowever, the changes occurred on the same exact day that I spoke with Candice (employee number: CLC) and the notations were issued by Exeter financeHMMMShe did not notate the account of any adjustments within her office, only mentioned that I was looking to re-finance with someone elseNeedless to say, If this isn't corrected I will be looking for an attorneyThis woman fraudulently made changed to the status of my vehicle so I wouldn't have the opportunity to re-finance and switch to a company that treats their customers with respectThis woman does not know me and I was on time for every paymentI don't understand how this type of business practice is considered legalSomeone that has done nothing wrong to this woman has now been hit hard on my credit as it has decreased POINTS!! This company should have their license revoked and Candice should be charged for the actions that has caused a complete stranger turmoil in their lifeSHAME ON YOU, CANDICE!!

My vehicle was repossessed without an up to date right to cure and then the agent did not give me the vsr until he was getting in the truck
On June 24th my vehicle was repossessed....I did not receive an up to date right to cure before my vehicle was repossessedThe agent hooked my car showed the report order and I explained to him the process in Louisiana and he told me to call the company then said it was a self help meaning a right to cure needed to be sent before it turned to involuntary repossessionso before he left he wanted me to sign the vsr I said no he didn't read it to me or anything and took my carI called the company asked what I needed to get my car back and he didn't know and asked him the process of repossession in Louisiana and he only said one time for the life of the loan.I asked again and began to explain the process to him and he said he didn't know and tried to transfer me to the repo department knowing they were closedI got upset and ended the callI do

They will not process a payment over the phone unless I provide them with pieces of verification
I make payments to Exeter via Phone It's borderline harassment trying to make a payment If I provide my account number and social security number to make the payment, which I always do, why does Exeter have to verify my physical address, phone number, and work phone number every month They also call call my place of business, where I am employees even though I have asked them to not call my place of work

I disputed an inquiry that was falsely made by ExeterThis credit inquiry was made on 9/30/ I sent a letter to the creditor via certified mail on 6/18/which was received on 6/21/18, After days passed, this company responded to my first letter by sending me a letter stating I should consult with another company on this matter, which doesn't make any sense, This particular company wasn't listed on my credit profile Exeter isI did not authorize anyone employed by Exeter Finance to make any inquiry and view my credit reportThis is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 1681b(c)This is a serious breach of my privacy rights

I have been an Exeter customer since *** I have had late payments which a late fee was assessed I paid more than my monthly payment to cover the late fees Exeter did not apply my extra payments towards late fees so they have continued to accumulate When I called on 5/1/to have the extra payments applied towards my late fees, they told me they cannot until I make my 5/1/payment They refuse to credit my funds appropriately which then will continue to reflect an outstanding late fee amount The online statements I can see on their website also do not reflect the same amounts in their system The excuse that their system doesn't apply funds towards outstanding late fees is unacceptable In speaking with a representative on the phone on 5/1/at 1;pm CST, they cannot apply outstanding funds towards my late fees until I make a payment on time

Set up a payment arrangement with Exeter for 9-2-17, Exeter took the liberty to process my payment on 8-30-which caused my account to over draft now the has now went to and now they wont refund the payment and not paying the overdraft feesThe company is a rip off and need to be checked for all the scams that being pulled on the consumer

In I was granted a loan deferral, or so I thought, that would move two payments to the end of my loan and spare me from any late payment and chargesI received letter from them telling me my next payment would be due in two months from original due date
When I finally went to make the payment, the statement said I owed three monthsSomeone had not entered the agreement into the system, making me days lateI spent month-after-month fighting with them about my deferment agreementAfter months of fighting, I finally had reached someone who identified the problem and promised to have it fixed

I received mail from Exeter showing the findings in the auditThe company agreed to show me as current from that day but did not remove any of the past lates showing on my credit reportTo this day I cannot get approved for anything as I have over 30-day late payments, 60-day lates and three 90-day lates; no credit cards, no cars, a home, anything!!
