Josh is one heck of a nice guy; a great service technician and an interesting conversationalist as well The two times he was at my house we talked a lot about a common interest of ours, amateur gourmet cooking We could have gone on for hours before we both noticed the time getting away from us He did the repair quickly, easily, and neatly My only criticism with this and other services is that I feel that the prices are unfairly high For this reason alone, I am considering other plumbing and heating companies

I am writing this review here because my dealing with Sobieski folks few weeks back was so wonderfulMy A/C stopped giving cool air one of the hottest days last month and my family panicked as the approaching weekend prediction was for mid- to high 90sExpecting to replace the unit at a high cost in the middle of Summer, I called Sobieski to schedule a trouble-shooting visit and the customer service person managed to schedule a service call next day despite having no opening until five days laterAppreciated the kind consideration
Pete showed up promptly and took few minutes to inform me that a capacitor needed to be replacedBig relief as I did not need to replace the whole unit! He performed a thorough testing/tuning of the unit after replacing the capacitorIt was nice to see a technician who was very engagedEven though Pete added my house call at the start of his earlier scheduled route, he was not hurried while he was at my house

Sobieski Services office staff scheduled a heat pump performance check for my homeThe service technician evaluated the air handler and ductwork systemHe pointed out some leaks in the ductwork that were causing some loss in efficiencyHe made immediate improvements by covering the leaks with duct tapeHe gave me some pointers on the operation of the thermostatFinally, he showed me a brochure describing the benefits of using a higher quality air filter and a UV light system to improve the quality of air circulating through the house

The sign was already on the door the first time when *** came out to make the assessment for repairs that is when the down payment was made also he then said they have to order the parts and then come back out there to do the work they returned got geared up to do the job but never did perform anything not even the cleaning that would cover the $It had nothing to do with payment because I put a deposit down What happened is they backed out of doing the job lied about it and have the nerve to quote good faith and trust one thing about me I'm very honest and I paid to have a job done not to be robbed of my money you run a business and your job is to satisfy the customer not rob them of their money and try to take advantage of a situation because you see a sign on the door.I want my money back

The HVAC service technician for Sobieski Services -- Chris P*** -- was extremely professional during has semi-annual inspection of my propane heating system He was on time, very thorough in his inspection, and he explained his inspection to the owner in great detail so that the status of the heating unit was clear to the owner He ran several additional tests on the heating unit that were optional that he thought would be useful in performing his diagnosis and understanding the heating unit I would welcome Chris back to my residence to perform my six month inspection in the spring
