A few months ago my roof starting leaking rather badllyI have used John Beal Incin the past for help after high winds and hail, so I called them againThey gave me a quote and soon started to replace 1/of my roofWhile and after the installation an inspector checked the work being or had been doneNO LEAKS! YEAH!!!!

It is our policy that all agreements and contracts be reviewed by a manager or officer of the company before the agreement or contract be approvedThis job was reviewed and rejected by JBI We immediately return the deposit check to customer on 11/2/ This complaint was made on 12/9/2016, over one month after Mrs [redacted] was refunded their checkAt the time the consumer made this complaint, they were not a customer and JBI had not agreed to do any work I feel this should be rejected because they were not an actual customerPlease advise if I need to reply to this complaint through the online portal [redacted] General Manager

We are completely satisfied with the new flat roof, the new shingled roof (on our addition), and the new gutters that John Beal, Incinstalled for usFrom the initial estimate provided by Matt D [redacted] , to the installation by the crew under the supervision of Tim B [redacted] Jr., to the handling of our warranty and billing by Greg B [redacted] , we were very pleased and impressed by their professionalism, care, and quality of serviceWe wanted our roof to be done right, and we are very confident that John Beal, Incwas the right roofing company to do soWe have already recommended them to neighbors

I experienced storm damage to my roof within the last six months NICK M [redacted] , Sales Representative, was outstanding He inspected the roof, provided efficient guidance on replacement, returned to my home when insurance inspector completed the inspection, and then followed up after the project was complete The process of working with my insurance company, and mortgage company, was seamless with how John Beal Incorporated handled the entire process

I needed a new roof after about years with the old one, John Beal not only did a good job, but they had their supervisor checking on the job many times during installationTheir price was on the same level as my other quotes, but it was the peace of mind that the job was done rightThere are many roofing company's in StLouis, and I am sure they will do a good job, but I think John Beal will go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right and you are happy with the end result It is a company that is here today and here tomorrow, their people care that the job is right Starting with my salesman Jeff H [redacted] all the way through the clean up nothing but excellent workYou can not go wrong with them, quality shows from start to finish

I contacted John Beal for an estimate on my overhang on my back porch that suffered storm damageTwo JB employees came to give me an estimate on 7-30-One was **, the other's name I do not knowThese men both walked on my overhang and on the main roof of my houseThey gave me an estimate for the overhang and TOLD ME THEY DID NOT SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE MAIN ROOF ON MY HOUSEI SPECIFICALLY ASKED THEM ABOUT MY MAIN ROOFThe insurance claim representative came out after JB employees were hereThis insurance rep IMMEDIATELY SAW I HAD ROOF DAMAGE ON THE MAIN ROOF OF MY HOUSEThe insurance cogave authorization to replace everything, the entire roof and back porch overhangI called JB back to redo the first estimate**was supposed to show up on 8-4-between 1-p.mHE NEVER SHOWED UP AND HE NEVER CALLEDI called to complain and spoke to **, Manager, at JBHe apologized and rescheduled [redacted] to come on 8-5-**did show up and PROMISED to call me on 8-9-HE NEVER CALLED ME BACKI called and left a voice message for [redacted] on 8-31-expressing my dissatisfaction with JBStill NO ONE CALLED ME BACKI called today on 9-30-asking to speak to [redacted] boss*came to the phone insteadI told him I was complaining because they never called me backThat is not how you do business with someoneHe asked if I got someone else to do the job, then said "Why don't you do something positive and write the Revdex.com telling them what a good job this other company did?" He said I was never a customer of theirs and so it would do no good to complain to the Revdex.com about JB because JB would contest what I said and JB would get the Revdex.com to remove my complaintHe said that anything I said would not matter because no one would see my complaintsHe then said, "Why don't you just move on?" Desired Settlement: Other (requires explanation) Desired Outcome Description: I would like other consumers to be aware of how they treat customersI am not wealthy like their spokesperson "Larry [redacted] " on their commercialsThey treated me very poorly and disrespectfullyThey did not recognize that my roof had damageThey did not show up when scheduled to do soThey did not call when they promised to do soThey ignored my phone calls and did not call me backLastly their manager, [redacted] arrogantly taunted me that my complaints would not matter

John Beal Roofing did a fine job on our new roof They completed the work exepediciously and all personnel were very well versed on their productThey outclassed the competition by providing a superior product for the price The sales rep, Greg B [redacted] , was very knowledable and straight-forwardAshley, of the office staff, was very concienious in assisting us, as was Greg B [redacted] Rich F*, the Project Manager, and his crew of installers were very fast and very thorough, and were very courteous overall We are very satisified with the quality of their work, and would recommend the company to others We are very impressed with the overall result this company provides, especially after trying to deal with other roofing contractors, who cannot deliver a superior product for the money, nor could they complete the work in as timely a fashion as Beal

I just want to say that John Beal Roofing did an excellant job and were professional from start to finishLuke K [redacted] was did the job I expected and solved a problem several other companies could not solve I highly recommend this company Thanks also goes toes to Kim and John

Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted] The leak at Mr***’s home was in large part due to record breaking rain the days following Christmas day 8+ inches fell in the Greater StLouis area and as a result the city experienced devastating floods to many communitiesThis was not a amount of rain and was an extreme weather eventSimilar to rain totals during hurricanesAn act of GodMr***s’ home had experienced many rain events after JBI installed his new roof without ANY leaksMr***s agreed to the terms and conditions on the back of JBI’s agreement and by doing so agreed not to hold JBI responsible for consequential damagesA signature on the agreement confirms that this was read and agreed to by Mr***sMr***s even requested that the terms and conditions be alteredWe have made many offers to Mr***s without any successEven offering to have other areas in his home painted that were not as a result of JBI workmanshipJBI feels this was above and beyond and more than fair offer for settlementThere was so much rain in fact that Mr***s’ home experienced leaks in his chimney due to the chimney’s mortar needing repairWe have reached out to Mr***s via email to review quotes he is receiving for the damage to his living roomHe stated he has not yet received these quotesOnce he submits the quotes to JBI, we will review them and see if they are consistent with the damage inspected and documented by JBI In order to make sure both parties are not taken advantage of, JBI will be using Xactimate software as a standard in determining costsXactimate is a property estimating program designed for claims adjusters, contractors, and insurance carriersAdjusters are able to key in the type and quantity of material damaged for a particular claim, and using a buiprice list (one for every county in the United States)This is the same software that would probably be used by JBI’s insurance company if JBI decides to turn this claim over to our insurance carrierWe have been trying to expedite Mr***s’ claim for damages and mitigate this ourselvesMr***s was offered this solution prior to him filing a Revdex.com complaintJBI cannot accept, agree to any terms or compensate Mr***s until bids are reviewed and checked against the going rate of what an insurance company would pay out for labor and materialWe also feel that using Xactimate to determine what compensation is the ONLY fair and honest way for both the homeowner and JBIJBI cannot agree to a BLANK CHECKAfter a fair dollar amount has been agreed to, JBI suggests paying contractors of Mr***s’ choice directly to avoid any unjust enrichment opportunitiesIn Mr***s’ Revdex.com Complaint Desired Settlement he wishes to have JBI “Verify in writing that obligations of my roof warranty are met regarding my complaints”JBI already has repaired any workmanship issues that were foundMr***s already knows thisWe have not received any communication from Mr***s about any new leaksIf Mr***s would like a copy of his warranty mailed out to him again to read the terms he agreed to we would be more than happy to do thatHe also asks for cost comparison for different vents different from vents that are currently installedJBI chooses not to do any new or future business with Mr***s so we will not be providing those prices to himMr***s also makes reverences in his desired settlement for JBI to “train employees in providing good workmanship in installing a roof and flashing” and to “develop a process to ensure quality checks.” JBI is an industry leader and one of the largest in the Midwest, having installed thousands and thousands or roofs without issuesJBI has and does perform ongoing training to all of its employeesWarranties are not guarantees that nothing will ever happen in the life of a product rather that if something does happen, the company will be there to correct itThe good thing for Mr***s, he contracted with JBI, a reputable companyJBI stands by its warranties and did so in this caseJBI feels that they have gone above and beyond in its attempt to make Mr***s happyThis is the first time in the company’s history that an offer to perform more work was offered to the customer only to have the customer file a Revdex.com complaint and requests less be done

We have a leaky roof and need it repaired while on social security it is hard to replace a roof out of the blue John Beal company came to our rescue when we needed it most they are the most friendly people and try their best to take care of everybody not just the select few John Beal's company really came through for us when we needed it Thank you John Beal company for your fast and most reliable work! If you need a roof replaced just call John Beal I am sure they will take care of you as well as they have taken care of our problem roof The only roofer to ever call!

These guys are good From Greg Bthe scheduler, to the crew who were professional, hard working, considerate and neat Bill [redacted] was right there making sure everything was OK If you watch these guys work, you will be satisfied And if all you do is hire these guys and just show up when the job is done, you will still be satisfied I shopped price, and they had the best bid I am a rehabber and these guys are on my approved list
