Our John Beal contact person was Greg B [redacted] Greg did a great job communicating to setup the process of getting a new roof, understanding insurance information, and the actual work that would be done to our home For top quality work and great customer service, John Beal is recommended This is the second time I have worked with John Beal to have a new roof put on a home

[redacted] was very courteous and easy to talk toHe was very knowledge of the products and answered any questions He represented John Beal in a professional mannerI am satisfied with the finished product so much that I have asked John Beal to install windows for me

I worked with Matt Dat John Beal, Inc He was very professional, nice, considerate and very knowledgeable I was in a time crunch and they were able to do it so quickly Their choice of shingles was very good The area around the house was very well cleaned up I would use them again in a heartbeat

All this hiding behind your warranty when we never wanted anything for freeYes, I called for legal advise on the matter but decided not to go the route as the bill could have surpassed the amount needed to fixBut when I brought up I was trying to protect my family though legal means the manager became very very very upsetNow all I did was call to find out what they could do to help us outHe started off with legal jargonSo I'm no lawyer so I called oneNever asked for anything for freeJust to get my flashing fixed As for the tech coming back out after our complaint that the job was not up to our standard nor should be up to theirsIt was days after the workWhere I thought I sent e-mails with pics of the jobBut for some reason they didn't sentThey are still in my e-mail accountJohn Beal inc sent the same tech to inspect his own sub par jobReally the same tech is going to see a problem with this own workSo I asked for a different tech to come outHe did later that evening which was very nice of himTold us the work was "sub par" at bestHe came out when he could and he looked like some one that knows what they are doing was on our roof As for the roofer with no pride in your workI can send you pics and I'd ask you if you would want that on your houseAnd yes we are not roofers but we had another roofing professional on our roof before John Beal inc made the fixes we paid forHe had never ever seen anything like itThen after the work was done you didn't need to be a professional to see how bad it was in my opinion of coarseIf you would like pictures I have them and you can form your own opinion"Sub par at best" I hope that you are not saying that I am campaigning against John Beal IncI don't care about that company at allNothing, if someone was to ask me if I know of any good roofersI wouldn't bring up John Beal at allI would simple state no I don't As for the refund it was almost Christmas and New Years we wouldn't have had it fixed in time for the flooding rains we got between those HolidaysThank goodness I am smart enough to just say do it rightI will not accept this response because I have a vendetta but simply you have bullied us for the last timeBy calling us liarsI'm sorry you feel the need to attack customers that don't agree with you

Revdex.com Complaint # [redacted] The leak at Mr***’s home was in large part due to record breaking rain the days following Christmas day 8+ inches fell in the Greater StLouis area and as a result the city experienced devastating floods to many communitiesThis was not a normal amount of rain and was an extreme weather eventSimilar to rain totals during hurricanesAn act of GodMr***s’ home had experienced many rain events after JBI installed his new roof without ANY leaksMr***s agreed to the terms and conditions on the back of JBI’s agreement and by doing so agreed not to hold JBI responsible for consequential damagesA signature on the agreement confirms that this was read and agreed to by Mr***sMr***s even requested that the terms and conditions be alteredWe have made many offers to Mr***s without any successEven offering to have other areas in his home painted that were not as a result of JBI workmanshipJBI feels this was above and beyond and more than fair offer for settlementThere was so much rain in fact that Mr***s’ home experienced leaks in his chimney due to the chimney’s mortar needing repairWe have reached out to Mr***s via email to review quotes he is receiving for the damage to his living roomHe stated he has not yet received these quotesOnce he submits the quotes to JBI, we will review them and see if they are consistent with the damage inspected and documented by JBI In order to make sure both parties are not taken advantage of, JBI will be using Xactimate software as a standard in determining costsXactimate is a property estimating program designed for claims adjusters, contractors, and insurance carriersAdjusters are able to key in the type and quantity of material damaged for a particular claim, and using a buiprice list (one for every county in the United States)This is the same software that would probably be used by JBI’s insurance company if JBI decides to turn this claim over to our insurance carrierWe have been trying to expedite Mr***s’ claim for damages and mitigate this ourselvesMr***s was offered this solution prior to him filing a Revdex.com complaintJBI cannot accept, agree to any terms or compensate Mr***s until bids are reviewed and checked against the going rate of what an insurance company would pay out for labor and materialWe also feel that using Xactimate to determine what compensation is the ONLY fair and honest way for both the homeowner and JBIJBI cannot agree to a BLANK CHECKAfter a fair dollar amount has been agreed to, JBI suggests paying contractors of Mr***s’ choice directly to avoid any unjust enrichment opportunitiesIn Mr***s’ Revdex.com Complaint Desired Settlement he wishes to have JBI “Verify in writing that obligations of my roof warranty are met regarding my complaints”JBI already has repaired any workmanship issues that were foundMr***s already knows thisWe have not received any communication from Mr***s about any new leaksIf Mr***s would like a copy of his warranty mailed out to him again to read the terms he agreed to we would be more than happy to do thatHe also asks for cost comparison for different vents different from vents that are currently installedJBI chooses not to do any new or future business with Mr***s so we will not be providing those prices to himMr***s also makes reverences in his desired settlement for JBI to “train employees in providing good workmanship in installing a roof and flashing” and to “develop a process to ensure quality checks.” JBI is an industry leader and one of the largest in the Midwest, having installed thousands and thousands or roofs without issuesJBI has and does perform ongoing training to all of its employeesWarranties are not guarantees that nothing will ever happen in the life of a product rather that if something does happen, the company will be there to correct itThe good thing for Mr***s, he contracted with JBI, a reputable companyJBI stands by its warranties and did so in this caseJBI feels that they have gone above and beyond in its attempt to make Mr***s happyThis is the first time in the company’s history that an offer to perform more work was offered to the customer only to have the customer file a Revdex.com complaint and requests less be done

I am so pleased with the amazing job they did! The roof looks great! But even more than the roof was the customer service I receivedFrom Matt the salesman who was willing to explain everything to me to make sure I understood and was comfortableTo Tim the commercial manager who called weekly to update me on schedulingTo the amazing crew who did our roofNever have I seen such hard working respectful people as the installersBig thanks to Omar and his crew you guys went above and beyond! I honestly wish I knew more people who needed their roofs done because of the amazing service and respect my family received thank youAlso big thanks to the crane driverHe was greatVery helpful and respectful of my neighborsMy experience was top notch! Thank you John Beal Roofing!!

Matt D [redacted] and Greg B [redacted] were very professional and great to work withHighly reccommend I had some insurance reimbursement issues, but these guys helped me work through it and were very patient

John Beal Roofing makes every attempt to be perfect and every once in awhile we do make a mistake The corner pieces of siding that were damaged were not replaced promptly like the customer states John Beal Roofing excepts full responsibility for this mistake The customer's request resolution will be completed within the next business days weather permitting Again we sincerely apologize to the consumer and the Revdex.com for the inconvenience this mistake may have caused

The problem was resolved to everyones satisfaction and was not related to John Beals work on my roofThe manufacturers product was the problem and the John Beal people were very helpful Gregory B [redacted] got us a copy of our roof order for insurance purposes

I recently had a new roof installed by John Beal Inc. I am so pleased with the job they did. And my salesman, Nick M [redacted] was so nice to work with. He met with myself and the gentleman purchasing my house. He was so informative and helpful. When I paid my balance, and set up the guarantee the gentleman I dealt with, Greg B [redacted] was equally helpful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing roofing done.

From the salesman, Nate R [redacted] to Greg B [redacted] , Business Mgr, and all in between, I have had an excellent experience I would highly recommend the John Beal Inc team as the best value I could find, as well as the ongoing professionalism and courtesy extended to me at all levels In fact I have already made a recommendation that resulted in a contract

John Beal Roofing installed a complete new roof on my house After the job was completed, there was a 6-foot long hump in the front of the roof that looked like a 2xthat had been shingled over After many calls and visits from John Beal employees, they all agreed there was a bulge and told me a variety of reasons for it, but would do nothing to correct it They finally told me to wait days and maybe it would improve The days expired several weeks ago and there has been no improvement I am stuck with the bulge in my roof

We were very satisfied with the work and materials All the workers were very courteous Rich Downey and Greg Reatels were very professional in assisting us in making decisions on what needed to be done

I selected JBI over four other contractors to inspect my roof for damage, help with my insurance company inspection, remove and replace the roofing material, and clean up the debris from the installation. I worked with Bill M [redacted] on the job and Greg B [redacted] as Business Manager. Both were very congenial and easy to work with. Bill always returned calls promptly that he couldn't take in real time. He even arranged for me to contract with another company for some work that had to be done before my new roof could be installed. He saved me 50% on that job. Greg lead me through the paperwork like an "OLD PRO". We finally came to an agreement on the cost and the method of payment. He was very easy to work with. John Beal Inc. - St. Louis is an excellent contractor to do business with. I heartly recommend them .

My experience with John Beal Roofing was OUTSTANDING *** *** came to my house to give me the estimate Mr*** is AWESOME *** did the actual repairs to my roof *** is TERRIFIC I highly recommend this company I was so impressed with their INTEGRITY and PROFESSIONALISM Very pleased with the QUALITY of their work Dealing with this company was an AMAZING experience from start to finish No biling hassles Everything was GREAT
