Strictly from a customer service standpoint, not including the work done on the roof, I would like to thank Matt D***, Tim B***and Greg B*** for their patience with my husband and myself We had a lot of questions (and fears) but these gentlemen really made the process run smoothly A special thanks to Matt for making a 2nd trip to our home on a Friday night just to save us some money They all seemed very knowledgeable, approachable and accommodating
I was pleasantly surprised to have such excellent customer service from a roofing company We will recommend this company to others in the futureThanks again!

I would like to give stars to Greg B*** for helping me this morning getting the documents that I needed and emailing them to me quickly His help was greatly appreciated

I signed a contract with one of Beal's sales/estimators on 7/for roof repairs to my 89-year-old mom's home from a tree that fell on her home 7/I asked if he needed a down payment, and he said he didn'tHe indicated it would be 2-weeksI emailed him 8/for statusOn 8/he said within next weeksOn 9/I called the office number & was told by the production scheduler that she would reach out to the sales rep & call me backShe didn'tI called again on 9/She blamed the sales rep for no contactI was given to the production managerHe said my contract in invalid, wrong paperworkNo money was paid down, and job was never scheduled; I was not a clientHe said he was terminating our relationship because I was too angry, and there no way they could please me nowI lost months trying to get answers from this company and now must start my search for a contractor AGAINYou bet I'm angry

I had a complete roof replacement, shingles and deckJeff Hthe estimator impressed me with his knowledge and customer service skillsAfter finishing his presentation he patiently responded to the many questions I had researched on the internet; he was informative, honest about possible costs, and clearly explained the items detailed in the “construction agreement.” He presented a competitive bidI cannot say enough good things about Mike C., the Project ManagerAs I requested of John Beal, he contacted me minutes before the appointed time, explained how the project would progress, provided updates, and responded to an issue of concernHe managed his roofers like a well-oiled NASCAR pit crewThey worked incredibly hard, cohesively, and finished on timeThe crew cleaned up every single bit of material (including nails) around the property and cleared out my guttersBefore the project I explained to Mike Cabout the leak in my living room ceiling due to holes around the chimney flashingAfter the project, he pointed out the new flashing and explained that two layers of the water shield were placed around the chimney and along the eavesThis was in the contract, but he wanted to address my previous concernJeff Hand Mike Cprovided excellent communication and service from the initial meeting and beyond the finished installation I can honestly say that this experience has been the best I have had with any contractor Besides recommending John Beal to neighbors and friends, if anyone needs roofing services call this company, they are second to none!!

Had new roof done by John Beal, Incin September, All phases of the process went wonderfully Matt D*** and Greg B*** were great They explained everything in detail The roof cost was right on the money, no unexpected hidden costs Wonderful, great, positive experience overall

Upon singing John Beal Roofing's agreement, customer had been told that there may be rotten wood that can not be seen until the old shingles were replacedThis is a standard procedure that is done with every roof replacement John Beal Roofing doesIt is so important if fact that we have every
customer initial that they understandIt is on the FRONT of the agreement. This is stated on our agreement and the customer initialed this statement:"Rotten Wood or Deteriorated Decking: To install new wood or decking is an additional charge of $per linear foot for one inch of solid decking or $per sheet of 4’x8’xó” CDX plywood or 4’x8’xó” OSB sheetsThis price is not included in this quote and will be additional if neededRotted or deteriorated trusses shall be replaced on time and materials basis, as an additional chargeWood condition cannot be determined upon surface visual inspection."Attached is all the pictures that verifies wood was replacedThese pictures were provided to the customerThe customer did come into the office after the job was complete to make payment arrangementsWe do not offer in house financing but decided to assists the customer for her inability to pay what was agreed.John Beal Roofing, like most companies, does not provide receipts from material that we purchaseOur costs and where we buy materials are trade secretsWe will not be providing the customer those, rather we feel the pictures speak for themselvesThey show all the bad or missing wood and the new wood that was replaced

As for the consumer wanting compensation for repairs for her basement leaking, we feel that none of the work that we performed had anything to do with the leaksWhile we were there making small repairs to the recent work we had completed, the consumer had all of her underground drain tile replaced around her home by another company(see attached pictures) This was most likely the cause for her basement getting water in the home

All this hiding behind your warranty when we never wanted anything for freeYes, I called for legal
advise on the matter but decided not to go the route as the bill could have surpassed the amount needed to fixBut when I brought up I was trying to protect my family though legal means the manager became very very very upsetNow all I did was call to find out what they could do to help us outHe started off with legal jargonSo I'm no lawyer so I called oneNever asked for anything for freeJust to get my flashing fixed
As for the tech coming back out after our complaint that the job was not up to our standard nor should be up to theirsIt was days after the workWhere I thought I sent e-mails with pics of the jobBut for some reason they didn't sentThey are still in my e-mail accountJohn Beal inc sent the same tech to inspect his own sub par jobReally the same tech is going to see a problem with this own workSo I asked for a different tech to come outHe did later that evening which was very nice of himTold us the work was "sub par" at bestHe came out when he could and he looked like some one that knows what they are doing was on our roof
As for the roofer with no pride in your workI can send you pics and I'd ask you if you would want that on your houseAnd yes we are not roofers but we had another roofing professional on our roof before John Beal inc made the fixes we paid forHe had never ever seen anything like itThen after the work was done you didn't need to be a professional to see how bad it was in my opinion of coarseIf you would like pictures I have them and you can form your own opinion"Sub par at best"
I hope that you are not saying that I am campaigning against John Beal IncI don't care about that company at allNothing, if someone was to ask me if I know of any good roofersI wouldn't bring up John Beal at allI would simple state no I don't
As for the refund it was almost Christmas and New Years we wouldn't have had it fixed in time for the flooding rains we got between those HolidaysThank goodness I am smart enough to just say do it rightI will not accept this response because I have a vendetta but simply you have bullied us for the last timeBy calling us liarsI'm sorry you feel the need to attack customers that don't agree with you

I had John Beal out for a repair this spring they did a great jobA couple weeks ago I had another leak in the same spot, called and they were out the next dayVick went up on the roof to check it out and did not see any issues, so he asked to go into the attic, he found the issue which was not the roof this time but a PVC pipe that was leaking, Vick asked if I had some caulking he would fix it for meNo he could have just said not my issue you need to call a plumber, he did not do that but fixed it for me and then did not charge me a dimeGreat company, great service

Very professional group to work with, from beginning to end. I would highly recommend John Beal for anyone looking for competitive pricing, outstanding product.

George and I were totally "wowed" by the awesome customer service provided by John Beal Roofing Company on our November 24, 2015 residential roof replacement. Jeff H[redacted] handled our account and from the first moment he impressed us with his knowledge and customer service skills. Both of us felt very comfortable with him, and with the way he represented the company. He was very informative, honest about possible costs, professional and responsive when we reached out to him. The roofing supplies arrived when he said they would. We were impressed by the "Construction Agreement", and we took the precautions suggested, so we had no nasty surprises. I don't know whose idea that was, but it's a great tool to inform customers and proactively avoid any misunderstandings or complaints.
The workers arrived on time and completed everything the same day, cleaning up afterward too. Jeff followed up with us twice to make sure we were satisfied with the work, and came out promptly to resolve the only issue we encountered.
We can honestly say that this experience is one of the very best we have had with any company, and we will be glad to recommend John Beal to friends and associates who need roofing services. Thanks, Jeff, and John Beal Roofing. Keep up the outstanding job!

Very professional, did a great job!!!

Did an excellent job. Roof looks great, and cleaned after. Did two follow ups.
Very pleased. Very timely and professional as well. Greg B[redacted] and Jeff H[redacted] were very professional and helpful. I found them tom be extremely knowlegeable and friendly.

We are completely satisfied with the new flat roof, the new shingled roof (on our addition), and the new gutters that John Beal, Inc. installed for us. From the initial estimate provided by Matt D[redacted], to the installation by the crew under the supervision of Tim B[redacted] Jr., to the handling of our warranty and billing by Greg B[redacted], we were very pleased and impressed by their professionalism, care, and quality of service. We wanted our roof to be done right, and we are very confident that John Beal, Inc. was the right roofing company to do so. We have already recommended them to neighbors.

I called John Beal out to correct shoddy work done my another company in 2012. Luke was very professional, showed me where our issues were, showed me how he corrected them and answered all my questions. He arrived on time and did great work.

After weeks of disappointment with siding contractors, we realized that we also needed a new roof. Beal had done an excellent job of putting on our last roof about 20 yrs ago, so we called them. It was at this first appointment that we met Barry [redacted]. We knew immediately that he was a man who knew how to get things done. Throughout the course of the summer, Barry facilitated the application of a new architectural shingled roof including new plywood decking, and beautiful English wedgewood siding. Barry was always very responsive to phone calls as were Kyle with the roof and Kevin with the siding. We are very pleased with the new look of our older home and our experience with John Beal Incorporated.

We have a leaky roof and need it repaired. while on social security it is hard to replace a roof out of the blue. John Beal company came to our rescue when we needed it most. they are the most friendly people and try their best to take care of everybody not just the select few. John Beal's company really came through for us when we needed it. Thank you John Beal company for your fast and most reliable work! If you need a roof replaced just call John Beal I am sure they will take care of you as well as they have taken care of our problem roof. The only roofer to ever call!

A few months ago my roof starting leaking rather badlly. I have used John Beal Inc. in the past for help after high winds and hail, so I called them again. They gave me a quote and soon started to replace 1/2 of my roof. While and after the installation an inspector checked the work being or had been done. NO LEAKS! YEAH!!!!
