Not all contractors are bad, and these folks at John Beal are proof of that. I had them come out and give me an estimate on a small roof repair. They were prompt, addressed the situation, and offered me 2 different options to fix the issue. When we decided to go with the estimate, the office staff was polite, returned my phone call quickly, and followed through on what they said they would do. The work crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves.

After dealing with the runaround of typical contractors it was refreshing to deal with a stand up company like John Beal. Quality work at a fair price, done by professionals who do the work when they say they will. We are thrilled with our experience!

I had a new roof installed by John Beal, Inc. the third week of August & was pleased with the job they did. Nate R[redacted], the sales rep. who quoted the job was very informative & helpful & the workers did a good job & cleaned up very good. I was kept informed by Greg B[redacted], the business manager, & the job went very smoothly. Do to inclement weather early in the week the crew even worked a hot Saturday to help complete the job in an expedient time.

I recently had a new roof put on my house by John Beal. My entire experience from beginning to end was excellent. Beginning with getting a call to schedule an appointment within 30 minutes of submitting an online request, to the great job done by my sales person Mike H[redacted], to the great communication and help provided by our QC guy Richie D[redacted], and finishing with our post-sale business wrap up with Greg B[redacted]. Top marks for all!

I definitely recommend John Beal.

John Beal Roofing did a fine job on our new roof. They completed the work exepediciously and all personnel were very well versed on their product. They outclassed the competition by providing a superior product for the price. The sales rep, Greg B[redacted], was very knowledable and straight-forward. Ashley, of the office staff, was very concienious in assisting us, as was Greg B[redacted]. Rich F[redacted], the Project Manager, and his crew of installers were very fast and very thorough, and were very courteous overall. We are very satisified with the quality of their work, and would recommend the company to others. We are very impressed with the overall result this company provides, especially after trying to deal with other roofing contractors, who cannot deliver a superior product for the money, nor could they complete the work in as timely a fashion as Beal.

Greg B[redacted] and Carl S[redacted] were really good to work with. The crew started around 7am and were finished and cleaned up by 3:00pm. It was nice that all the mess was cleaned up before I even got home from work. You couldn't even tell they were there except for the new shiny roof. I rate John Beal as 5 stars!!

Our John Beal contact person was Greg B[redacted]. Greg did a great job communicating to setup the process of getting a new roof, understanding insurance information, and the actual work that would be done to our home. For top quality work and great customer service, John Beal is recommended. This is the second time I have worked with John Beal to have a new roof put on a home.

From the salesman, Nate R[redacted] to Greg B[redacted], Business Mgr, and all in between, I have had an excellent experience.

I would highly recommend the John Beal Inc team as the best value I could find, as well as the ongoing professionalism and courtesy extended to me at all levels.

In fact I have already made a recommendation that resulted in a contract.

This is my third roof put on by John Beal, and once again I am 100% satisfied with the job done. Multiple neighbors have commented on how nice my house looks after I had my new roof put on. We have reached an agreement with Mr. [redacted] and have discounted his final bill as he requested in his settlement. We also had the shingle manufacturer inspect the roof for any anomalies and they found there to be none. The roof had been...

installed per manufacturer’s specifications. Below is a timeline from our system. You will see there were delays in the project but they were also as a result with the customer’s finances and his work schedule. This complaint is now resolved.

Getting our new roof from John Beal Incorporated was a great experience from the beginning to the end. All of the employees were nice and professional.

I selected JBI over four other contractors to inspect my roof for damage, help with my insurance company inspection, remove and replace the roofing material, and clean up the debris from the installation. I worked with Bill M[redacted] on the job and Greg B[redacted] as Business Manager. Both were very congenial and easy to work with. Bill always returned calls promptly that he couldn't take in real time. He even arranged for me to contract with another company for some work that had to be done before my new roof could be installed. He saved me 50% on that job. Greg lead me through the paperwork like an "OLD PRO". We finally came to an agreement on the cost and the method of payment. He was very easy to work with.
John Beal Inc. - St. Louis is an excellent contractor to do business with. I heartly recommend them .

I worked with Matt D. at John Beal, Inc. He was very professional, nice, considerate and very knowledgeable. I was in a time crunch and they were able to do it so quickly. Their choice of shingles was very good. The area around the house was very well cleaned up. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

We recently had a new roof installed using Beal Roofing. This company is one of the best organized and well managed I have ever experienced as a management consultant and C-Level executive for over 30 years.

I can not imagine a better roofing company here in the mid-west. Beal was exact, efficient and delivered. As with any well r]un organization the key is who they employee; managers like Tim, Jason and Greg are very good at what they do.

Beal Roofing is hands down, the best contractor I have ever used.

I am so pleased with the amazing job they did! The roof looks great! But even more than the roof was the customer service I received. From Matt the salesman who was willing to explain everything to me to make sure I understood and was comfortable. To Tim the commercial manager who called weekly to update me on scheduling. To the amazing crew who did our roof. Never have I seen such hard working respectful people as the installers. Big thanks to Omar and his crew you guys went above and beyond! I honestly wish I knew more people who needed their roofs done because of the amazing service and respect my family received thank you. Also big thanks to the crane driver. He was great. A top notch company that was great to deal with from start to finish. Their attention to detail, focus on customer needs, and honest approach to doing business set them apart from all the others. I was glad we called "called John Beal".

John Beal Roofing installed a complete new roof on my house. After the job was completed, there was a 6-7 foot long hump in the front of the roof that looked like a 2x4 that had been shingled over. After many calls and visits from John Beal employees, they all agreed there was a bulge and told me a variety of reasons for it, but would do nothing to correct it. They finally told me to wait 30 days and maybe it would improve. The 30 days expired several weeks ago and there has been no improvement. I am stuck with the bulge in my roof.

I experienced storm damage to my roof within the last six months. NICK M[redacted], Sales Representative, was outstanding. He inspected the roof, provided efficient guidance on replacement, returned to my home when insurance inspector completed the inspection, and then followed up after the project was complete. The process of working with my insurance company, and mortgage company, was seamless with how John Beal Incorporated handled the entire process.

Bill M[redacted] did a great job explaining my options and advising me during the entire process of having my roof and wood trim repaired/ replaced from the April hail storm this year. Greg B[redacted] was very helpful with all of the paper work, even to the point of coming to my house to see the work that was done. Everyone at John Beal Roofing gave excellent service, from Kim and Ashley, who scheduled the work, the crew that did the roof, and Scott who did the trim work. My expectations were exceeded, and I highly recommend John Beal Roofing to anyone that needs roofing work done.

I contacted John Beal for an estimate on my overhang on my back porch that suffered storm damage. Two JB employees came to give me an estimate on 7-30-16. One was **, the other's name I do not know. These 2 men both walked on my overhang and on the main roof of my house. They gave me an estimate for the overhang and TOLD ME THEY DID NOT SEE ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE MAIN ROOF ON MY HOUSE. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED THEM ABOUT MY MAIN ROOF. The insurance claim representative came out after JB employees were here. This insurance rep IMMEDIATELY SAW I HAD ROOF DAMAGE ON THE MAIN ROOF OF MY HOUSE. The insurance co. gave authorization to replace everything, the entire roof and back porch overhang. I called JB back to redo the first estimate. **was supposed to show up on 8-4-16 between 1-2 p.m. HE NEVER SHOWED UP AND HE NEVER CALLED. I called to complain and spoke to **, Manager, at JB. He apologized and rescheduled ** to come on 8-5-16. **did show up and PROMISED to call me on 8-9-16. HE NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I called and left a voice message for * on 8-31-16 expressing my dissatisfaction with JB. Still NO ONE CALLED ME BACK. I called today on 9-30-16 asking to speak to * boss. *came to the phone instead. I told him I was complaining because they never called me back. That is not how you do business with someone. He asked if I got someone else to do the job, then said "Why don't you do something positive and write the Revdex.com telling them what a good job this other company did?" He said I was never a customer of theirs and so it would do no good to complain to the Revdex.com about JB because JB would contest what I said and JB would get the Revdex.com to remove my complaint. He said that anything I said would not matter because no one would see my complaints. He then said, "Why don't you just move on?"

2. Desired Outcome Description: I would like other consumers to be aware of how they treat customers. I am not wealthy like their spokesperson "Larry [redacted]" on their commercials. They treated me very poorly and disrespectfully. They did not recognize that my roof had damage. They did not show up when scheduled to do so. They did not call when they promised to do so. They ignored my phone calls and did not call me back. Lastly their manager, * arrogantly taunted me that my complaints would not matter.
