I would never have Joyce Factory do anything for us again they ripoff your money and lie about everything and build you a deck that falls totally apart before a year old will not do anything about it so please don't except any job from themThomas is the owner and daughter name is Sam and Missy is the other person they are scammers

I contacted Steve's Factory direct on May 18, to have some warranty work completed on my gate hinge that had cracked and broken into two separate piecesAfter speaking with *** *** *** *** *** all most one year later our gate hinge is still not fixed and due to weight of gate hanging by one hinge has cause damage to other hinge now requiring both hinges that hold the gate to be replacedWe have heard one excuse after another as to why no one as come to fix the hinge"We are awaiting parts." "We have had a large turn over in employees, trying to get everyone trained." "The weather has not been cooperating." "It's been too hot for employees." to the last excuse of "You are next on our list for repair, we will contact you on Monday with date and time for repair." That was months ago After paying $14k for a fence and being less than years old when first reported should not be having these issues We have done all that has been requested of us to have pictures of hing

I believe you are referring to conversations before the on-site inspection. He said we would be willing to reseal the chimney and do what's necessary to make sure the roof is well sealed, including new flashing, ice and water seal, etc. Upon the on-site inspection, it was apparent that the flashing, ice and water guard, shingling were done very well and the existing chimney is in very poor condition. Tearing everything up, reflashing, resealing to the existing chimney still would not correct the issues. Again, we recommend that a chimney specialist or mason inspect the chimney, it's structural integrity and overall seal to the elements. Multiple breaches of contractI was required to sign loan papers fraudulently and had to begin paying for a fence/deck before construction had been completedPermits that were required and specifically written into the contract as contractor responsibility were not filed for and has yet to be resolved

The entire time Joyce spent quoting my project was enjoyable Not once did I feel as if I was being pressured into a project as I have with other companies in the past When we finally had chosen all of the details regarding the project at hand, Joyce quickly stepped in an had it completed and cleaned up in a matter of days Almost half a year later and everything still looks great On top of that the lifetime warranty puts my mind to ease if anything were to happen All in all it was a great experience

On June 7, a deck and gate was installed at my home by Joyce Factory DirectThe purchase price for the deck was $ Posts in the gate are too far apart and the dog is able to escapeThere are panels in the deck that have been cut to an angle and not connecting that need to be replacedThis is hazardous and it warrants someone’s heels being caught and fallingThe location of the steps is not placed where they were requested to beThe handrails were not installedSince contacting several representatives of Joyce Factory Direct, the steps are coming apart, and I can see the old, rotten wood from the previous steps that should have been removed and new wood should have been installed (per contract)

I had entered into a contract to have upper second floor deck replaced by Joyce Factory Direct They removed my satellite and reinstalled it to the new deck The satellite service stopped working, so I contacted Mr***, sales manager for Factory Direct, who agreed to pay the $service fee for *** Network to come out and evaluate the problem I had been speaking with staff at the company?s office to coordinate getting the money promised I have constantly been given the run around for two months now They kept telling me the check is in the mail, or there was a problem with the mail service Now they just outright lie to my face with all the excuses not to compensate me

On January 16th I signed a "today Only" priced contract and gave them a check for a depositThe deposit would be refunded provided I cancelled the contract within business days either by certified mail or in personI would then receive my refund within seven to ten business daysMy wife and I decided to cancel the contract by going to there office in Stlouis on Monday January I spoke with the receptionist and she happened to have my file on her desk minus the $checkShe said the check was in a locked office and didn't have the key and would mail the check back to meTwo days later I noticed the check had been run through my checking account on the 19thGiving them the benefit of the doubt I decided to call them after having waited daysThey apologized for the error and told me the refund was sent to me on Tuesday the 26th of JanuaryWhen I called on the 1st of February to find out where the check was

I had the factory design consultant meet with me on October 19, and I paid the downpayment to have windows installed Dec 5, windows out of installedThe installer said he could not install the bay window and he would notify Joyce Factory Direct about the problem with the installationI had to call Joyce Factory Direct on jan 8, to have additional windows (bay window) installed because they did not contact me to make arrangements to complete the job The bay window was installed on Feb 2, and I paid the remaining amount due for the windows I called Joyce Factory on the 14th on February due to a screen having a hole in it and I wanted it replaced Per service guy he asked for me to give him 2-weeks to take care of problem I called Joyce Factory Direct on March and ask about when the screeen would be replaced and to register a complaint that the bay window was leaking
They were again notified on April 3rd and April 13th and April 19th I was

This company installed our cedar deck when they were still known as Joyce Factory Direct The finished deck is very nice looking, but the crew left without finishing several items Trash was also left all over our yard This included open concrete bags that were left in the tall grasses of the common ground adjacent to our propertyWe called their office and the sales rep for several weeks to have them install missing lag screws & bolts, pick up the debris, and fix other mistakes They were polite & kept promising to have the crew come back out but that never happened Eventually I ended up fixing their errors and cleaning up myself after I realized I was just getting the run around

Very happy with joyce and would use them againJob done quickly and efficientlyWorkers very nice and knowledgeable

We bought a fence from themThey promised us many things including a lifetime garentee for anything that was unsatisfactoryThey also promised the fence would be flush with the ground which is the entire reason we agreed to the purchaseThey subcontracted the job out and the job was not completedThere are pieces missing, gaps in the bottom of the fence, and you cannot get out once you are inside the tardThe job is sloppy and not worth the headache and money it has cost usAlso, the company refuses to answer our calls and owes us money they promised

Joyce Factory Direct put siding on my two story house I was very pleased with the resultsIt improved the appearance of the house dramaticallyThere were a few minor problems after they completed the job but came back an fixed them to my satisfaction

This consumer's deck was constructed with Western Red CedarThis material will show cracks almost 100% of the time but those cracks pose no threat to the integrity of the structureThat is part of the natural beauty of such a project
over a more sterile looking plastic deck materialWe have an example of a huge pavilion purchased by the city of Clayton with the same natural seasoning that we will forward to your officeOur customer's project was visited by the president of the lumber company who supplies our materials, he concluded that there is nothing out of the ordinary regarding this project or the quality of material providedIt has been noted that this consumer has done nothing to treat or protect the wood since the installation date of November 7, even though cedar needs to be treated within the first three months
