4/I signed a contract with this company to have a fence erectedAs of 10/30, no work has been doneThey initially told me (verbally) installation would happen in six weeksThey were supposed to be here today at 1:30pm and missed another appointment, even though they said they had all the materials readyNo one ever calls me back when they miss appointments or when they're supposed to follow up with meI've called them at least ten times about this matterPeople have been out here twice already to explain why the fence isn't upThey give excuses like: Their truck broke down, their concrete crusher broke, etcI've paid them a deposit of $on a $contract totalI've filed a police report about this matter

I contracted this company mid to end of January to do some work on some doors for meI wanted to take some old doors out and install bi-fold doors to open up my home to my sun roomI had them come out, and I got an estimate of $9, I paid a deposit of $3, I told them I would be out of town but my daughter would be home for them to take measurements for the jobThey never came out I have been trying to get in contact with them, but unable toI have tried calling phone numbers, going to the business locations they have listed, and emailNothing seems to be workingI just want there service and my door project completed

ordered windows 3/7/still have not started on them called them several times sometimes they return calls sometimes notmonths dont you think they would have started on them if they are legitgave them cash for down payment today is may thank you

After we found out that Steve's (formerly Joyce's) Factory Direct was pretty much handling business for the now defunct Thomas Construction, we've been satisfied with their performanceThey did an excellent job of replacing our old wooden front entry door with a more energy-efficient steel one, and it looks, and works, great! We have also hired them to do some needed (triple-pane Thomas Const.installed) window repairs(Currently awaiting a broken custom window from the factory...)

We, my husband and I, contracted Joyce Factory Direct (now known as Steve's Factory Direct) to replace our screened in deck They were going to rebuild the deck and add a 4-season sun-room A contract was signed on January 5, 2017, with a check deposit made to Joyce Factory Direct We received information in February that the drawing would need to be drawn up by an engineer Plans were submitted to StLouis County in March On March 22, 2017, the county red-lined the drawings for correction I called on March and was told the plans were being resubmitted and they should start on March On March 27, I sent a text because no one had shown up to start the project as stated They called and stated plan was being resubmitted Several calls went back and forth promising a start I contacted the county myself to check on the progress of the permit process on July I received emails from the county of the contacts made to the subcontractor *** *** which included

Three months ago, on July 5, 2017, we made a down payment to Steve's Factory Direct for work to replace some siding on the back of our home and for a custom storm doorTo date, NO WORK WHATSOEVER has been doneWe have called multiple times for status updates and are being given the run-aroundOnce when we called, we were told the storm door was likely in with a shipment that had been delayed due to the ECLIPSE! Then, we were told that the front door needed to be measured but that someone had to be home for that to take placeWe responded that we could be available whenever necessary but that no one had said anything about measuring nor had anyone called us to schedule a time to meet to measure the doorIn response, we were told we would be hearing from someone in a couple of days and we have still not yet heard from a soul

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The cap on the roof blew off and my husband texted Chris, the national product manager, the attached photo and we never heard anything. My husband went out and bought nails and tar to fix the cap because we were about to have a heavy rain storm. No one has contacted us regarding what the national production manager promised on his visit that he would have a crew come out and redo the flashing and put ice and water guard around the chimney and replace the shingles with what was left over from the job. From the company's recent response to the Revdex.com complaint and sounds like they have no plans of coming out to de the work that Chris said would happen. If a quality roof was installed as it was paid for, then nothing should come loose from the roof.
Regards,

On 11/10/I contacted our project manager at Steve's Factory Direct to submit a warranty claim on a project they installed last springWhen they attached our gable roof patio cover to our home, they covered over our dryer vent and bathroom exhaust vent without rerouting the ducts to the exteriorAs a result, dryer lint and moisture has been blowing into our patio roof for six months, which we were told by a duct cleaning company is a fire and mold hazardOur project manager has proven difficult to work with, as every time we call we are told she is "in a meeting and will call back" and we never seem to receive a call backAfter weeks of daily calls/texts/emails to reach a resolution (all of the effort seems to be on our part in resolving this issue) we finally managed to get them to send an installer to remove the ceiling so that our HVAC company could install duct extensions; and after several days of daily texts we were finally able to have the installer come back to reinstall

The workers were very polite They scheduled the time they would arrive and they were there at that time The work they did was excellent The windows made the rooms look bigger I was really surprised

I hired Steve's factory direct to roof my home and garage and put new guttering on bothI signed a contract that stated this work would be done by trained professionalsAnd the roof would carry a year warranty.I have the signed contract stating ice block would be put on perimeters and causeways/valleys.the causeway and valley on front of house was not finished professionally leaving water to run back behind the gutters and into houseThe gutters are not level and direct the water back to the problem area of roofThe contract was to have ridge vents and soffit vents on eavesThe gutters have a mesh insert to keep leaves outBut leaves collect on top of them

I bought siding for my house a little overyears ago About months after the installation my dog chewed up a section around a door (probably not the best installation job) and I called the company to get a replacement piece They couldn't even find my contractand I finally gave upFast forward to this year I had some work done in my kitchen which required some changes to the siding I took pictures of the fixes we need and my contract (so they could find me) and was clear that we would be paying for the repairsThat was over weeks ago I managed to get a hold of *** *weeks after the email and a couple calls) and she told me someone would be there a week later I am sitting at home waiting and I finally call Lo and behold, they are just to "busy to get to me" and "no I can't give you a new time today but I will call you"I still haven’t heard backI left another message so maybe I will get lucky If not, I will have to find someone who can do the work outside of this company

I paid over $11,for a roof in May of with *** Factory DirectI got a year warranty on the roofSince February, I have been trying to get in contact with someone to get my roof repairedThere was damage at the peak of my roof which is covered under my warranty When I talked to people at Joyce, they said I needed to talk to the people at Steve's Factory DirectWhen I talk to people at Steve's, they tell me they are going to help me but keep giving me reasons/excuses as to why they have not come yetThey say these issues take time, but I have been trying to get a resolution since FebruaryI have had a hole in my roof all of this timeI would just like this issue resolvedIf it keeps dragging out, I may have to seek other action against the company which I would really like to avoid

Late June/Early July, I found a vender for Steve Factory Direct (SFD) talking about windows; stated I was interested
Over the next month, I received almost a daily phone call from an unknown number while I was at work (in a secure facility) that did not leave a message When I was finally caught outside of my secure facility, I answered and it was SFD requesting a meet I finally agreed, just because back in June/July, I was interested
On August 2017, I sat down with a Marty, who went over the sales pitch After agreeing, we signed the contract and he stated I would receive a phone call within one week to set up a worker to come and do a 100% sizing of my windows to begin production
On September 2017, I attempted to call and find out the status, as I still had not yet been called or otherwise contacted by this company that was almost daily calling my phone prior to the meeting I still have not been in contact with this "worker" to measure my windows, and am unable

On 4/I gave a check to Joyce Factory direct for the construction of my deck, I was assured it will be finished in 4-weeksOn the 4th week a worker came to the house told me the permits would be obtained that week and the project will start the following weekThat was seven weeks ago, have not seen or heard from JoyceAfter a no show for two weeks I called the office spoke to a lady that said someone will call me back, I called the salesman to see if I could get some answers I was inform that someone will call in the morningNow this is six weeks later have not received a call or any communicationI am cancelling the contract and demanding return of my depositIt’s been months now
I know you would say it’s because of the rain but if you look at DIY on tv they work all the time doing the rain so that didn’t stop you

Their door to door person Brian is too pushy and annoyingTold me I had to sign up or he would come back every dayBad company bad employees

On February 1, we entered into a contract with Sales Representative *** *** to have a entry door and patio doors installed for $9906.00, upon signing the contract we put down a $deposit and we were told within days someone will be out to measure to doors and installation will be completed within weeksThe measurements were not taken until the 2nd week of March after numerous of phone calls to the office and each time *** *** said the person who do measurements was out sick or either he was running behind on taking measurementsAfter the measurements were finally taken we were told that doors would be in a weekAt the end of March I called the office and spoke to *** *** and she said she would call us back within days to get us on the schedule, a week went by and no one called, I called the office back and *** *** said that the installer had been out ill which caused a delay in getting us on the schedule and promised that she would call back the next d

Ordered windows 7.29.2017, paid deposit of half of costHave no windows and Revdex.com shows the company out of businessRepeated call are unreturnedRequest a full refund of deposit

We have been unable to get our window replaced which has a "double lifetime warranty" We can't even get a call back from Joyce Factory Direct Below is a timeline showing my efforts:
Called:
12/(on or about) - Called Joyce Factory Direct to initiate a warranty claim for one of my windows which had cracked I was advised that due to the upcoming holidays that it would take extra time to get the window done I stated this was ok as long as my window stays intact (but wouldn't be acceptable if it breaks of course) I was told I would be contacted to schedule the repair/replacement as soon as the window came in
2/- Called Joyce Factory Direct, asked to get an update on my claim Was told *** (Production Mgr) wasn't in, was told to expect a call tomorrow (2/21) Asked about why I haven't been able to get my window fixed/replaced having called several months ago, was told I'd have to discuss with ***
2/- Called, was told *** (Production Mgr) wasn't in and that I

I have been fighting for years to get my deck fixed from poor work..every employee there has seen the deck and agrees its bad yet I get the run around when it comes to getting it fixed. I call them every single day and they keep saying they're going to send someone outThey were last at my house about a month ago and still were promising that they'd address the issuesI've spoken to four people at this company about this issue and they still keep putting me offI've spoken to the owner, the owner's daughter, the scheduler and the previous office manager came outThey did send out a repairman who stayed just a few minutes and left; he sanded a couple of boards.  The issues are: rotted boards that are now splitting and there's a concrete section that's cracked and splitThey have pictures of it and they admitted that it's poor workmanship.

Very happy with joyce and would use them againJob done quickly and efficientlyWorkers very nice and knowledgeable
