Roof was installed in May You can see light from where they removed air vent that should not have been removed They were supposed to shingle the entire roof and rear porch as well reflash vents, ice and watershield on ends We called because we are getting water in the living room and the attic has wet wood all over They could not service us until 2/26/and the appointment was to be at 10am I called and was put in Chris' voicemail and he never returned my call Around 11:40, a contractor for Joyce that does windows and doors said he could come by around 3:or It is not 4:and no one has called or come to look at the problem I called back to Joyce and was transferred to leave a message with Tracy With all the rain that we are getting, the floor is starting to rot, the fireplace is pulling away from the wall and the wall is buckling

had them build a deck for me a year ago and they did such a terrible job the concrete cracked in months since they just poured it over gravel, they used wood that was already split and looks like garbage and have been trying for months to get it fixedevery tiem they give me a date I get a no show and no call

We contracted with Steve's Direct to install our patio The installers called and arranged the installation date They arrived on time and did excellent work They provided advice regarding installation before they started work The work was completed on time and looks great

On June 10th, 2016, Joyce Factory Direct (JFD) of StLouis completed a vinyl siding and shutters installation In the process of removing the old siding and installing new siding, JFD damaged of my window screens JFD took the damaged screens with them and promised to repair and return them on Monday, June 13th I regrettably paid in full for the siding and shutter work Later that same June 10th, *** indicated that the screens would be returned on June 14th After dozens of phone calls and repeated missed delivery dates, the company finally returned my screens on September 14th, 2016--days after JFD removed the screens from my property The screens were NOT repaired at all and are in fact worse off than when JFD took them

It absolutely amazes me that they have no record of this contract and think I may have mixed them up with another companyWhy does this amaze me? I have the yellow copy of the project contractAlso, checking my records, I see that my deposit check, #*** which was written on August 8, 2013, was processed at my bank on August 12, I do not know who is in charge of their record-keeping, but somebody needs to do a better jobThis matter has not been solved to my satisfaction yet

I bought a fence March 22, ***, the salesman, told me that they manufacture the fence product, however, they custom make the fences so it takes 4-weeks May 3, 2016, I call because I have not heard anything about the fence I call the company and leave a message May 5, the shop foreman calls and tells me he is coming out next week to measure the fence I told him that the fence should already be measured and he informs me that he was just given this project along with others I call back *** and I speak to *** She says it takes 4-weeks after they measure for the fence to be completed I go to the office the next day and now *** says that my fence will be in next week, so she lied to me the day before with information I ask her why has it taken so long and she says there was a rain delay Rain delays do not take months before a measurement is done She is consistently lying to me, meanwhile I am trying to get in contact with my salesman an

Early last summer I noticed there was some siding that hadn't been installed correctly and had come loose and there was also a broken corner piece that needed to be replaced

July 14th: Left message asking for a call back regarding this issue No response
July 18th: Called back and spoke with *** Told her the issue with the siding She said she needed to check if the siding color was in stock and that she would call us back to let us know Never received call back
August 2nd: Called again and spoke with *** Was told scheduling was weeks out Was told she would check if siding was in stock and call us back the next day *** called back the same day and let us know the color was not in stock and that it would take 1/- weeks to arrive
August 24th (1/weeks later): We had to call back to inquire about the siding order/service schedule and leave a message
August 26th: We received a call from another individual at Joyce, who was calling

We had already come to a agreement with our client before ever knowing she filed a complaintOur client has been attempting to have her complaint eradicated as she had already been satisfied with the resolution from our firmI
personally spoke with our client today and she confirmed with me that she erroneously checked the wrong response on the Revdex.com form that is keeping her complaint from being withdrawn

Completely aggresive sales people they haveOver priced roofing estimatesI cancelled my second appointment and the guy still showed up hours later I signed the contract and cancelled it five minutes after he left so I could just get them out of my house the treat new home owners like dirt I will never work or recommend them to anyone for anyone ever

The deck is FINALLY finished! It took only 1/weeksCould that be that they didn't actually work full days.? We live in Missouri and they sent us a crew traveling from IllinoisThat means with travel time, they averaged hours a dayAfter the first week when they worked each day, the work days fell to one or two days a week plus the crew dwindled from three workers to two in numberThey would tell us they would see us tomorrow and then not showIf we called, they would tell us they were on the way--then call an hour or two later and say something came up and expect them tomorrowSometimes they showed--sometimes notWe changed our appointments and schedules expecting them to be here working and they didn't show upThe sales manager gave a fantastic presentation concerning superior material used by the companyThere were a few pieces of wood that were not acceptable and some black aluminum spindles had to be modified to make them fit.(perhaps the days it took to build caused the 2x4's to not be straight?)
The builder ran into a few problems along the way and one of his comments was to start overThere were problems with some piers not in line with posts--redone, our center deck board is not in line wth the center post--not redone (cosmetic)--some of the carriage bolts were too short on the posts (why?) so they used lag bolts to anchor the postsOn October 5th I called Misty(project manager) concerning a problem but she was out of the officeThey took my name & number and said she would call me backShe did, days later--the day AFTER the deck was finishedI also called and sent pictures to the sales manager Mike *** on October 5th---he NEVER responded I would not want to have another project experience like this one again

Despite multiple attempts to get proper and functional screens that we already paid for we only get a run-around, non-fitting "replacement" screens or the wrong hardware for installationIt's been almost months since the windows were installed and the first set of screens were discovered by us and the professional installer to be too big
We doubt the sincerity of the office staff in their accounts of how many sets of screens they have actually orderedBut one set did finally arrive a couple of months ago which were too smallThis was per the professional installer and our own visual confirmationThey were substantially to small to be of any use
After countless and repeated attempts to resolve we continue to get what we feel is the runaround and several excuses that prove to be less than the truthWe get promises for screen deliver and follow up calls that never comeWe always have to call backIt seems to us like they are trying to wear us down until we simply give up

Joyce Factory Direct has promised to pull permits for the building of my deckThe deck is completed and no permits have been filedI have called them times to resolve this and they keep telling me that they have taken care of it

Joyce Factory Direct built my new cedar fence last summer They were very professional and used high quality materials They finished the project in a very timely matter I would most definitely recommend them for your project!

Joyce Factory Direct put siding on my two story house I was very pleased with the resultsIt improved the appearance of the house dramaticallyThere were a few minor problems after they completed the job but came back an fixed them to my satisfaction

I signed a contract with Steve's Factory Direct on 9/29/to tear down a section of my existing fence and to install a new fence The door-to-door salesman that came to my house gave me a verbal agreement that Steve’s would have the work done by 10/31/ It has been months since we signed the contract and months since the work was supposed to be completed (today is 6/29/18) We not only do not have a new fence, but also the previous fence has not been torn down In fact, the company has made no indication that our project will ever actually be completed We gave Steve’s a $1,deposit and agreed to pay the remaining $3,when the work was completed to our satisfaction During the months that we have been dealing with Steve’s, we have had multiple phone conversations with them During almost each contact with them, we have been given some sort of excuse or delay, and we have never been given any completion date of any step of the project (the preliminaries or the ac

I have had a red cedar deck installed with Joyce on Feb and I was told I will have an year warranty periodAfter a month, I started to see cracks all overI understand wood cracks but the amount of cracks I see are way highOne of the wall posts cracked up and is about to go downNails popped up out of the deck and have injured my familyAll these concerns were sent to the company by email and discussed with them over the phoneEvery time I get a response that it will be taken care and no one addressed this from last monthsWith no other option and with the worst customer service, I am complaining it here
