Just Answer seems to be a poorly run, scammy operation. A message popped up when I went on the official Apple Website to try to get answers to a few questions I had about my Apple devices. The JustAnswer window popped up and was very misleading because it seems to be an offical part of the Apple website -- and the only way to access the answers I was seeking. I reluctantly paid the $5, which they said they would refund. I just cancelled the membership, so I'm hoping they actually do refund the $5. I'll check and see. I wrote a question on an eChat type of screen, expecting to hear back right away or within several minutes as is typical for most eChat functions. About 6 hours later, I got a question from a tech. Then he asked if I wanted him to connect to my computer so he could manipulate it. I could not believe that the charge to do that would have been $39. This company seems like a real scam. Who wants to pay a ridiculous monthly fee to get answers to questions 6 hours after you need the information. Someone should investigate! I also can't believe that Apple contracts with this company. I'm assuming they did -- or why else would they pop up on the official Apple website. What a waste of time and energy! You can't leave a 0 star review or I would have done that.

The service was awesome but I think it is expensive for one question you have. If you have lots of questions then it pays. They have technitions very quickly on the line and they know there stuff.

I received a helpful response from the lawyer whose name I do not remember concerning Miracle Breakthrough Labs in Miami. It at least caused me not to order any product from them.

My Great Dane ate a bit of chocolate and we were extremely concerned. Fortunately it was a very small and (as it turned out) not nearly enough to cause toxicity. I would have easily paid hundreds of dollars at my local vet / veterinary hospital for the opinion ans prognosis that I received. The reply I received was prompt, clear, professional and even personal - all within about 10 minutes. Compare that with waiting in a waiting room, stressed out about the health of your dog and whether you have enough to pay the bill and well, there is no comparison.
Of course emergencies need to be dealt with appropriately and one needs to exercise sound judgment as to whether your pet needs immediate care. However, the advice/service provided by *** was everything it should have been, at an extremely reasonable price. Anyone complaining about the fees (sorry that you didn't read that the $5 was only a deposit), get real! Try consulting, personally with a professional in their office and see what it costs.
This service provides professional advice at a real value. Can you ask for anything more than that?!

Quick & Useful advise.

If there was anything lower than one star I would enter it for this ripoff company. While browsing for information about a painting I own I came across Justanswer*** on the internet. When posing a question as a first time user it asks how $ you want to offer for an answer and I said $5, the least amount accepted. It also required an email and password which I provided, but no where is it clearly marked on their website that despite refusing any type of free trial or membership you will be forever sucked into financial hell by these people. Despite several phone calls in which I stressed that I certainly DID NOT sign up for anything they have continued to charge my checking account $58/month for the past seven months. Their website says I no longer have an account, but I don’t trust them and short of getting a new checking account I have no idea how to make certain these vultures don’t get their hands on any more of what little $ I have every month. SCAM!!! RIPOFF ARTISTS!!!

Just Answer, took my money and then didn't answer my question. Left me hanging without even responding to questions like: "how long will I need to wait for an answer?" and "Is anyone still there"
