Spoke with a very knowledgeable, thorough and patient attorney that took his time to explain things in terms I could easily understand. He was concise, direct and specific to the State in which my Complaint is to be filed. I felt so much better after speaking with him and as though I had a much better understanding as to how to approach the Demand Letter and completion of the Complaint. I would highly recommend and well worth the fee!

TOOK my money $5.00 first then $21,00 after I went further! Never got a answer, I fixed it my self! Contacted them today and they offered my money back and wanted my credit card #, My Name is ***,they can look it up! They only offered to give me $5.00 back!! After being misdirected to the JustAnswer site, while searching for Toshiba on Google, JustAnswer pretended to be Toshiba & billed me. Then, I realized what was happening, & demanded a refund. They gave me a refund, BUT, put me on a monthly billing system after sending me an email stating they had given me a refund, because I had reached their site in error! I made it very clear that I did not want to use JustAnswer, but they still billed me.
BEWARE! If you get mixed up with them, you need a confirmation email stating that you have been removed from their "Service".
Currently, I'm disputing the charges with my credit card co.

I was trying to find information about a GE range I own. Justanswer offered a free chat. The chat line is just a hook. No answers, no help, just someone who passes along your question. I was not informed that this involved a "membership" and fees in addition to a "deposit". I called within minutes of giving my credit card info for the $5 "deposit, to cancel and "***" (sic) told me twice that I had no account. She then changed that and said that I had submitted a question and was in fact a member and that my account could be charged. I will have to wait and see if I am billed and for how much.
*** was very confident that their A+ Rating was a sufficient shield against any complaint that I might raise. So, I am posting this complaint, and others as well, to alert others.

JUST ANSWER IS A SCAM !! DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO- YOUR MONEY WILL BE STOLEN !! I have had a similar experience to almost everyone here.:::This is a predatory practice common in the Internet with no value to impart other than to hoodwink people, in desperate need for answers, by having them believe there is any possible support when none is provided; and worse yet, when the service is intended to force a membership without an actual consent.This business has misleading advertising on it's web page. It says the $5.00 fee is refundable but it doesn't say that once you give them your credit card, you are subscribed for a monthly fee. When you want "just an answer" it usually not every month you need the service so that's sneaky...So be warned or you will find you are paying a monthly membership, (much more than $5. a month.) $41.00 US/MONTH. They refused to let me cancel immediately... After I was insistent, they finally agreed and told me to check my card in 3-5 days...we'll see how that goes!

I would NEVER ask advice from this thieving website. They promised to help for $5.00. Not only were they unable to resolve my problem, but they charged me $39.00+ VERY CROOKED, DO NOT TRUST THEM.

The $5.00 trial is currently only available for Customers posting from the United States, which was why you were asked to place the full deposit when posting your question about your E-reader.

For the first question I was asked for a $5 deposit which sounded reasonable. I was never told that I would be charged $46 for the expert opinion. I would never have continued had I known. This company is not being up front with the potential customer. I tried to end the trial and can't get that webpage to load. Very frustrating

It looks like you haven't been able to find the option to cancel your trial because it has already been cancelled. IThis appears to have been done by you, 2 days ago.
The first question that you posted was done so for only $5.00. The $46.00 would have been the cost of the membership, but as stated it looks like this was cancelled already.

This was an awesome experience. I was not inconvenienced by having to go to the vet and wait for hours with huge vet bills. I was easily able to log in and ask my question and within a half an hour we had a treatment plan in place at an unbelievably low cost. The Dr. was very informative, quick to respond and made sure I understood the plan. I will let everyone I know know about this great service! There is an option to keep the service for a low monthly fee. I think it is less than $30 per month. What a deal. I am thankful for affordable services liker this one, I know I can get great professional advise at an instant. I like the convenience of the text or email options which have no additional fees and of course I know that if I need to talk live one on one if I have more involved issues that service is available at at great low price as well. What a piece of mind!

I "just stumbled" across this business [JustAnswer] when I typed "***" into Google. I was excited to think I could get an answer from a real expert for $5. When my answer arrived, I realized I would have to pay an additional $33, but I "risked" it thinking $38 would be pretty cheap if my lampshade was indeed a real tiffany (it's not). I was very happy with the response I received from the JustAnswer antique consultant, and THEN I found out I could ask as many questions as wanted for FREE for an entire week! Well, this has been a real blessing to me as I am trying to find appraisals for a whole houseful of antiques as we help my mom downsize. I am so pleased, that if I don't get all of my questions answered this first week, I'm going to sign up for at least another month of service to finish getting all of my questions answered. JustAnswer has been a HUGE help.

My husband thought he was only paying for a question. He did not know he was signed up for a membership service indefinately. I discovered the charges today investigating another matter but it has been charging 56 dollars for a very long time. We have 848 dollars charged for services never used. I am requesting that we get a credit to use the service for 15 months as 'prepaid'. As that is fair. I will keep this post updated on if they honor their service.

If the intention to provide a service from experts coordinated by JustAnswer were truly honorable and in good faith, there would not be a need to enforce a deposit for subscription even before a client gets an answer, that is why JustAnswer is a scam without a doubt.

If JustAnswer’s intentions were not dishonest, Justanswer would not have falsely promised to expedite an answer when a complaint had been previously filed before cancellation of service.

It is too little too late, to turn around and justify the inability to provide a service in a particular case, when facts speak louder than any verbiage of justifications.

That is why Revdex.com get my negative review despite any efforts to avert it. Any company registered with Revdex.com would get an A until reviews such as mine speak to the contrary, and that I do in full knowledge so that no one else falls unwittingly to the evident predatory practices of JustAnswer.

When I immediately went to the chat line, they offered freebies to keep me in the program --one I told them I never signed up for. They refused to let me cancel immediately...(I'm supposed to wait 7 days and get back to them!!) After I was insistent, they finally agreed and told me to check my card in 3-5 days...we'll see how that goes!
