We booked a round trip from Jacksonville, FL to Dallas, TX for the dates of July 26th-July30th with an insurance policyWe called today (July 5th) to cancel the trip as it was for our son to visitHe lost his job and will now be driving home with his dog and therefore cannot flyNot only would they not take our cancelation insurance, but they would only refund our ticket if we paid $for canceling, and an additional $PER TICKET (so an extra $per round trip) in order to receive a voucherSo our original $for a round trip would be over $1,if we chose to go this routeThey also would not allow us to put the ticket in our name even though we are the purchaserThis may just be poor service, but it seems like an easy way to scam people by making it seem like they can easily purchase affordable tickets and buy insurance for "whatever comes up" and then tag them with lots of fines
Dear Sir, I would like to draw your attention to the following, as a consumer I feel I am being cheated and the company is taking unfair advantage of my situationI am mentioning my complaints in the following points: a) Airline charged me $ for each cancelations ( in total) and advised they are providing me with travel creditWhen I wanted to buy a full priced ticket and one additional ticket with the travel credit they wanted me to order the full price ticket and the ticket with travel credit later ( I called them at around 9:PM CST)After I conveyed my desire to get both the tickets at the same time they redirected me to another departmentI waited for minutes over the phone and was told that they can use my travel credit and additional $200+ for the new ticket I am requestingI asked them in addition I have to buy another full price ticket and they redirected me to another departmentThe representative there talked with me to finally relay the travel credit cannot
