Terrific service on plumbing by Brian [redacted] Very thorough with problem resolved

I requested a plumber to come and secure our pedestal sink and stand firmly to the wall, and to repair the leak the sink had in its connection to the wall and Dave Brown was the Service Technician they sent to my home HE WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND! He is BY FAR, the best, most knowledgable, and most courteous "plumber" I have ever had in my home From this day forward I will request Dave when I require any plumbing work to be completed in my home THANK YOU DAVE [redacted] for all the time you took to complete my project in a professional manner!!

Joe [redacted]  and his associate were fast, efficient, clean and non disruptive They did a great job, answered questions and left with a very positive feeling about the company they represent

Genz-Ryan came to certify a furnace for a City of Richfield point of sale inspection Ricki and his partner Dan took less than an hour to claim the following work needed to be performed to certify the furnace  Blower motor amperage was low: -When asked where the amperage guidelines were found they said the internet; however they could produce no make or model number for the blower motor so we could verifyExhaust piping must be replaced by double wall piping to be up to code: -No such code exists for currently installed furnaces Laundry tub must be removed for proximity to furnace per code: -No such code exists for currently installed furnaces The quote for all this work was $sort of When asked for a specific quote they couldn't provide one right then; unless were going to do the work We were told the quote would be emailed the next morning When we called three days later having not received either an invoice or a quote we talked to a manager Jeff He had limited information about our appointment The information he had didn't show that we had been given an $"quote" When we continued to ask tough questions about the specifics of his technicians report to us he finally hung up  It took weeks for an invoice for the very unethical visit, which being year and on SSI I paid $for, to be delivered by email No quote was provided, just a $furnace inspection visit that said the furnace had failedI had another HVAC contractor out later that week to certify the furnace and confirmed there were no code violations and the amperage testing they did was bogusThat visit was $

Dave [redacted] arrived as scheduled, promptly assessed the problem and offered several solutionsIn addition he resolved a problem I had from a previous installation of a toilet at no charge, easily and cleaned up after himselfIn addition he informed me of a valve problem with water pressure, called my city and assisted me in getting that valve scheduled to be replacedHe was pleasant, efficient and helpfulI give him five stars for his service!

Noah did a very good job with our service call this morningHe was professional and courteous throughout the visit Seemed very knowledgeable about the unit and putting together an estimate for me

Don't be fooled, their tune-up "special" is a joke; they will only give you that special when it works for them... BUT not when they have service calls rolling in that they can bill at a higher billing rate. Move on to a company that honors their commitments and follows up on promises.....I used their online scheduling request form; they called back and we got their $59 AC tune-up "special" on the calendar several weeks out. The night before the scheduled tune-up (less than 24 hours notice) I received a call that they were unable to make it out the following day and to call to reschedule. When I called back and talked to the service rep Christian, he said that they have all "no-cools" to cover and had no technicians to cover our appointment. He also gave me a line that it was "the law" that they had to cover no-cools, when I asked him to clarify what law, he said the state of MN requires that they cover any place that reports a no-cool because you know, kids and elderly. When I told him I had rescheduled my work to stay home that day and that they could stop by at anytime he said that he couldn't make that happen. His only resolve was to offer to reschedule me and put a "don't not reschedule" flag on it. When I told him this was really poor service, I asked to have a Service Manager call me back. He took my info and confirmed my phone number, but I never got a call back. I would have been happy with SOMETHING for my inconvenience, perhaps even just a flimsy furnace filter!

We had a service plan with Genz-Ryan and after the first two visits they made to their house, it's two strikes, they're out First, we were charged extremely high prices for service and labor ($for a $part to be installed) The technician sold us an upgraded motor for our furnace We do not know how to install any HVAC equipment, so to be honest, we just paid it Second, we had a technician come to do an A/C checkup and not only was the service tech rude to me, but my wife He also answered a phone call from his dispatcher on speakerphone while working in our house - the dispatcher told him he needed to go back to his last call because he was there an hour ago and their A/C did not work He responded very sarcastically and made fun of the customer We felt this was unprofessional Then, as he was leaving, I asked if we could have the old part back that he had upgraded He responded by telling me that it was "his part now" and that I could not have it back He put it in his bag and told me "possession is 9/of the rule, so it's not yours anymore." I will never know why he wanted to take that part and not give it back to me, but the next part of this story is what made me very suspicious Just one day after the service had been completed, our A/C did not work I called Genz-Ryan to have them come back and fix our A/C They sent a technician back the same day I called Apparently the original technician had wired the unit incorrectly and forgotten to turn the power back on The technician who ultimately made the repair made an excuse that it might have been "a long day" for the guy who made the mistakesMy opinion, Genz-Ryan -- don't send a technician out who cannot perform the service I called Genz-Ryan to try and reach a solution, and fortunately, their customer service manager allowed me to get out of the service plan Based on this experience, and experiences other customers I know have had, I would not recommend this business to anyone I know

Great service! Mike S [redacted] was extremely competentHe explained everything he did and made it easy to understandHe cleaned everything up and didn't leave a trace! Wonderfull to interact with

Zach [redacted] with Genz Ryan did a great job servicing my HVAC unit during it's check up appt He was helpful, clean, knowledgeable and nice He explained what he was doing at all stages of the check up as well as what he found (or not found) during my apptThank You Zach [redacted] and Genz Ryan

I started with a call to Genz Ryan to schedule an AC tune up in mid July The technician, Jake, came to our house in late July He told my wife that we need a long list of things fixed so my wife told him to send an email then talk to me about the options After a few days, I call the office since we had not heard from Jake The office said he would call me After three more days, I call the office back since I had not heard from anyone He email me a list of options without any prices so I called himWe discussed the options and I said I would schedule after a week of vacation I then call the office on the 17th of AugustI was informed that Jake no longer worked there so they needed to send out a new technician On Aug19th, Ryan came out and explained what needed to be fixed which the list grew from $to $with additional leak in the AC We scheduled the repairs for Aug24th A new technician(do not know his name) arrived on the 24th and spend hours doing the repairs and left at pm I arrived home at 5:pm and noticed the AC was not kicking on We spend one hot night without AC I called the office back on the 25th when Jeff Pcame out to find that the previous tech switched two wires so he fixed the wiring After technicians and $2600, we have AC working which it was working before we started this processes

I was very pleased with the service I received, the technician, Brent was very professional and helpful

We called their main number and said that we needed a technician to check our furnace and air exchanger and CLEAN both or them, for a home inspection The guy came out and didn't have so much as a Kleenex to clean anything I offered our small mini vacuum to help him with that, and he said emphatically NO He did nothing but add a plethura of needed parts for our all already working furnace He DID NOT even attempt to clean either the furnace or the air exchanger, and had a very bad attitude I feel violated on every level, and paid him $on my Visa I have repeated called the phone number for the Genz Ryan Company, and no one even cared After multiple phone calls, I finally reached Jeff, a Manager, who had totally no interest in helping this situationMost of my multiple phone cals couldn't even get a person: just a recording that said that they were busy This company is a very bad scam Please help me {ERT

Zach [redacted]  did a great job

The service industry, espconstruction and repair, has in general "lost s few steps" over the years That's why it was so refreshing to deal with Brent Gentz and his team Brent was predictable in coming, courteous, patient, and very thorough He anticipated our needs, answered all of our questions, and in the end, provided a great end-to-end service I recommend him and his team highly for getting the job done right the first time and on time-- Kirk [redacted] , Rosemount

Noah F checked, cleaned and serviced our air-conditioners on August He was marvelous and did a good job I recommend him

Dan was great to work with, he was knowledgeable, courteous, and explained how things worked so I understood. Thanks!!

Everybody was polite and professional, James, ( tech ) was respectful, wore shoe covers, and cleaned up work area when finished, also seemed knowledgeable about work he did Very happy with the whole process

Tyler is well-mannered and attentive He listens well He does not push his agenda or attempt to unnerve the customer While the Genz-Ryan pricing structure is more expensive he attempts to soften the impact with a focus on long-term benefit He represents the company well One suggestion: he needs to be ready to explain Genz-Ryan's payment plan options for more expensive repair or replacement work

I worked with Mike Btoday from Genz-Ryan on our annual fall tufor our furnaceSimple and nice experience todayMike did a full analysis of the furnace and made a recommendation on something that needed to be addressed and we did do exactly that Very professional, clear and nice
