On 12-22-I had a new gallon water heater installed for $4,dollars
On 12-23-I discovered water coming out of the drain tube from the furnace and leaking from a crack in the tube The water heater technician had to move two drain tubes when installing the new water heater one from the furnace and the other from the air exchangerContacted Genz-Ryan and they sent a plumber out and repaired at no cost This was appropriate and expected
On 12-24-discovered that furnace was not working Technician who had installed water heater and moved drain pipes had used lots of silicone to reseal connections When doing this he filled the furnace drain tube with silicone as essentially plugged it not allowing the furnace to combust due to the backed up water in the system Contacted Genz-Ryan again and had furnace technician come out He observed connection with large amount of silicone used on connection for drainage tube and removed "plugs" of silicone blockage to get
