The consumer has been informed that the replacement units will be sentThey will ship in approximately weeks

new unit was shipped 5/FedEx and delivered today 5/at 12:pm

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and I accept it.“The business clearly stated that they sent you the smallest unit that they haveSince you do not want the brackets that fit the new unit, there is nothing further that Revdex.com can do to assist at this time.”I would appreciate if Kidde could send a new bracket to fit the extinguisherI will bring it to the dealership to see if it can be mounted in the vanI am quite sure I did not write that I did not want the bracketMy primary concern is the sizeIf Kidde refuses to replace the extinguisher with the same size then I have no other option than to try and see if this works in conjunction with the staff at the dealership - the van is still under warranty.Please let me know if this email to you is sufficient or is I need to go through the Revdex.com site and resubmit.Thanks so much,***

I am rejecting this response because: Until I receive the replacement item or my money back I do not consider this issue as resolved I emailed Christopher W [redacted] in reply to the voice message I received from him and explained to him my frustration and lack of confidence.Once I receive the replacement item or a refund I will then consider this resolved, but not before then.Thank you[redacted] ***

The paperwork to process the requested refund was send to our accounts payable department*** should receive the check within weeks to comply with his request

I have reached out to Roger to inform him we are going to send the requested replacement unit

WE WILL REACH OUT TO THE CONSUMER AND PROVIDE A UNIT OR BRACKET THAT WILL WORK

There was an extreme delay in getting this order out, but this is set for delivery by EOD 12/5/

We are waiting for the consumer to call us backWe will take care of what is needed and verify if his units fall under the recallIf they do we will get him new one's shipped out

I am rejecting this response because: The issue is the size of the extinguisherIt does not fit in it's original holder or locationThis is for a small camper van so space is quite limitedPerhaps they should work with the dealership I purchased the van from to find a suitable place to mount this larger extinguisherI'm willing to work on a positive outcome but so far that has not happenedKidde does not seem to understand the issue and I feel I've explained it: what works well is the original diameter of and 7/inchesThe replacement is 1/inches and the second replacement is even larger

consumer was emailed and responded to our email on Wednesday April @ 10:32amHe provided a picture of the unit and we told him we would replace it if he can provide a physical address

A member of our product support team was able to walk the consumer through the process of getting all units to work togetherHe has the direct number of agent should he need further assistance

will contact consumer and ship her out auto units with in 10-business days

I spoke with the consumer to today and gather the information from his extinguishersHis units were not impacted by the recall but we are going to send courtesy units to provide peace of mind
