We have been in contact with Mr*** after trouble shooting the units we are going to send units which will arrive in 7-business via FedEx ground

We last spoke to Mr *** on 4/9/about his unitsHe was going to try to make the units work with the bracket that was receivedThe original unit he had was smaller and is not being made so we shipped him a bigger replacement

accept it.I also received a telephone call from Kidde within one business day of the complaint. The person I talked with was polite and helpful. He checked the recalled fire extinguisher database and could not find any information on the first fire extinguisher, but did find information on the second submitted unit. I was told that the reason I may not have received the replacement for the first submitted recalled fire extinguisher may have been due to a possible software issue. When I submitted information on the second recalled fire extinguisher, the software may have thought the first entry was a duplicate and deleted the information I did resubmit the information on the first recalled fire extinguisher and that was accepted. Hopefully I will receive the replacement for the recalled unit within the time indicated Thank you for your assistance

The unit that Mr*** was sent is the smallest we haveWe can ship out a new bracket that holds the unit he has received which has been offered to himThe unit will need to be placed in a different area than the original one

I am rejecting this response because:
I am rejecting this response because I was told by the company on a number of occasions that they would take
action and never did. If in fact I receive a tracking number for the replacement or receive the actual replacement, then I would be willing to close the complaint. But until then, I am not satisfied with this response due to the inability of Kidde in the past to follow through on promises

I am rejecting this response because: There were a small damage done to my house's outlet which is requite electrician to come and take a look nowAs well as parts need to be bought and replaced

an employee called Christopher W*** responded saying that he was going to send the replacement in weeks but they failed again
